Really friendly little place that serves Bumbu rum & nice draft ales. Anyone who likes sweet rum try bumbu rum & full sugar coke it's 😋

It was good, but there's a no cash, CARD ONLY option. Relying with a friend to pay and give them the cash in return, it's not great.

Perfect on a quiet Tuesday afternoon for a pint with the Mrs while on a trip to Whitley bay... We enjoyed a good few games on Mario Kart too! Can recommend the stout and Sizzling Prawn McCoys!

What a class bar. The draft Almasty German Pilsner was amazing!

A delightful little bar that's full of guest ales, IPA's, Sours and cans aplenty from independent brewers as well as a slew of spirits to choose from. The staff are great, the decor is pop culture-tastic and there's even a free console for some classic video game fun.

No better place to drink in Whitley Bay. Draft range never less than superb and, in the unlikely event that you can't find what you want on tap, there's a 99.9% chance you'll find something in the fridge or on the shelf.

Nice little tap room, two minutes from Monkseaton Metro. Good choice of ales, and there is a Nintendo set up in back to play.

A small but very good pub. Constant changing selection of craft beers. Tables are a premium but there is outside seating as well. Definitely worth a visit.

Well this is a great place. Really nice seating area outside. Nicely done out inside. Toilets are nice and clean. Staff aww helpful and friendly. Only thing i would say. They need to up there beer game abit. Need more big boys for sure.

Great selection of beers considering the size of the place. Kind of place you're comfortable going in by yourself. Always found other customers really friendly. Even does prosecco so my wife was happy.

The finest bar in Monkseaton, offering a wide range of craft beer, ciders, wines and spirits. Dog Friendly and they even let you bring the wife. We have been frequenting this establishment since opening day and have always been made to feel more than welcome by James and his team (Ben). Couldn't ask for a better micropub in the area, any one star reviews will not be tolerated and as punishment for such a crime, you shall be forced to join up with the Monkseaton Morris Men on New Years Day.

I've passed this place loads of times before but due to lockdowns and time constraints, I just couldn't go in. Now I have. It's small, friendly, has a great selection of drinks and the music was excellent. Very close to Monkseaton metro as well. Well worth a visit.

Quality beer and music and posters on the wall - however the initial welcome when walking through the door is an instruction to put on your mask (November 2021). It is the owners prerogative on requesting patrons to wear a mask, of course, but sometimes a smile and a "hello" is a better way to welcome a customer.

Ales are far to expensive 7£ and 8£ a pint are a can! and they make you were a mask 😷 in October 2021 ? Toilets are mouldy needs a good clean.

A really friendly, cute little micropub with a good range of cask, keg and canned/bottled beers. They only take card payments (all credit and debit cards accepted), so make sure you have one with you.

Amazing place.. Beer selection is incredible and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. Very nice atmosphere... will make this place my local!

Superb local tap house. Great range of beers on keg, cask and in the fridge. Love that they often have a few local beers on as a staple, I'm new to these parts so I'm pleased to be able to support local beer and business. Highly recommend, especially if you fancy a game Tony Hawk. 🍻

Essentially it's a shell of a place. Great with friends but not a comfortable place, no space to move, windows run with condensation.

Really enjoy coming here. The interior is getting more and more finished every time we go in, but personally I don't care about that very much. The landlord is really friendly and welcoming and the rum and real ale selection is great! Thoroughly recommend checking this place out.

A welcome addition to Front Street. Business is still new (2018) and the owner is still developing in terms of products and services on offer. Interior has a unfinished look and feel. But the landlord was very friendly and welcoming, the choice of beers was good and I'll look forward to seeing this establishment grow in the coming months.
