Franky’s in West Lindsey

Excellent First Class Fish & Chip shop. Haddock and chips cooked fresh and delicious . I would certainly recommend this fish & chip shop

We are staying in Nettleham and, being undecided on supper, were popping across The Green to buy a pizza from the Co-Op, when we caught a whiff of the smell of chips floating down the road and we couldn't resist - a few more steps down the street to Franky's. We caught them just before closing for the night - check the times because they close at 8:30pm on weeknights - so they had run out of Minced Beed and Onion pies, but we shared a large Haddock, some chips and curry sauce, and a Pineapple Fritter. (the portions are generous) The shop is spotlessly clean, my other half commented that we could have eaten our supper off the counters. We were impressed that everything, where possible, was wrapped in paper - very eco-friendly - and the whole meal was then put in a large brown paper bag to carry home. As for the taste test, it was piping hot and delicious; light crisp batter and the chips soft and creamy in the middle. As for the pineapple fritter, I am a complete convert. Such a good resource to have on one's doorstep.
