Worst experience in a restaurant. Front ladie extreme unfriendly and def.

Great food, staff really helpful.

Myself and my partner visited Frankie & Benny's Merthyr yesterday and had the most amazing experience! Staff made us feel very welcomed as soon as we walked in, everyone was smiley and kind and polite! Callum couldn't do enough for us he was absolutely amazing and was so well mannered, he made our evening! Highly recommend and we will be returning very soon

Was a long time having our order taken, but there was an apology. The portions are so tiny! My little one asked for more when we left

A lovely place to go have food with the family. They sang happy birthday and brought out cake for them. The food was absolutely lovely and so was the staff. I would defo go here again

Never again, side of broccoli was frozen and was asked if we wanted it reheated or a fresh one, obviously we asked for a fresh one only to be served the same one! Absolutely awful and it's not a cheap place to go. Avoid! On the way out we spotted this note.

Our server Caitlyn was polite, pleasant and friendly.

Expensive microwaved food and service was awful. No draught beers / ciders, £5.40 for a 330ml bottle of peroni, £3.60 for a glass of flat coke. Avoid at all costs.

Very tasty food and a wide range of mains for you to have. Only reason for 4 stars is that it is expensive and they can take a while to come to your table and take your payment at the end. Other than that, it is spacious inside and the staff are friendly and the food can be quite quick to arrive!

Had a fantastic meal with my friends. We had brisket fries that were amazing, would definitely recommend! Tracy, Sarah and Charlotte served us and were super friendly

Always a favourite chain, this was our first visit to the Merthyr Tydfil F&Bs and we weren't disappointed! Great food, quick service and a nice atmosphere inside. Easy parking outside or walkable from the town centre. Recommended if you're in the area and looking for a decent meal out. It's also located directly opposite a cinema, public swimming pool and few other outlets.

Great restaurant! Really had a pleasant time with my family. We came quite late, but they allowed us even after it closed. Great people and great atmosphere!

For such an empty restaurant, the service was awful. Long waits for no reason. Starters were good. Main meals were awful. It was such a shame.

Staff were excellent, all really friendly and made a huge fuss of our daughter for her 5th birthday. Really impressed.

Lovely place to eat. The only downside I found was that you don't get anything with you lasagne. Also could of been alot more chips for the price.

1st time here and will definitely be back ! Callum made us feel very welcome and is extremely good for front of house! if all staff in the industry conducted themselves in his manner, efficiency and over all persona it would be a pleasure to dine out more often! The lasagne was the best I’ve had in a long time and the chicken with ribs were enjoyed by my husband 👌🏻👍

Service was great. But they've changed the gluten free pizza from what I remember. It used to be lovely. I went recently and the gluten free pizza base was far more like bread. It reminded me of that square-cut primary school pizza

(Frankie and Benny's Merthyr) Taken my daughter to Frankie and Benny's for a birthday lunch. We were seen....seated and served quickly to be fair. Had a bit of a wait for food and when food arrived, chips were cold so the waitress did bring fresh chips out (which were still cold) when we mentioned it to her. There were also no knives forks or napkins on our table which is a small gripe but it was a concoction of little things that eventually led to a bad experience. The worst thing was the state on the toilets...all the toilets had urine on and one toilet was full of blood..... we actually used the disabled toilets (which we shouldn't have) but thinking they might be a more practical clean option.....we were wrong...they were not any cleaner...there appeared to be excrement on the wall smeared. The staff were all helpful but I think they were understaffed.

Popped over on a Saturday afternoon, seated straight away and food served within 15/20 mins. £13 each for our pizzas and thoroughly enjoyed, as did the wife, no complaints. £6 plus for a pint of Peroni around our way feels a bit off though I've got to admit. Overall a nice experience, atmosphere is always good with the happy birthdays being sung.

Pizza was cold and extremely thin. Not worth half of what it cost. You can get much better value and quality for much cheaper elsewhere.

Food arrived stone cold! Probably because it was so late. Food was also very bland.

Waited over 1 hour 20 for food, just kept being told it's being played up but clearly that was just to passify us. However the waitress was nice and it's clearly not her fault

I take my boys here a couple of times a year. Always get good service but had particularly good service today from Ellis.

Don't bother!!!!! After waiting 30 minutes to get served my gf had to ask for someone to come take our order, even though there was a waiter walking around with his hand in his pockets talking and on his mobile. He did however have time to eat some of his own food that the restaurant obviously provided for him, but had no time to take our order. We then waited over an hour for our food to arrive and when it did it was stone cold. My sons lasange was burnt and freezing cold (how the managed that I have no idea) My calzone had raw mushrooms inside, was completely undercooked, the loaded fries were also cold so we didn't chance eating them nor did we fancy having the pulled pork on top of them re heated I think inedible food was enough without having to deal with possible food poisoning Absolute shambles of a place, don't bother going. Completely ruined our families new years eve!!!!!

Więcej tu nie przyjadę z rodziną! Frytki zimne ,kotlet przypalony,chlebek od spodu cały w sadzy. Wniosek piec od piccy brudny. zimno w restauracji . Pracownicy pracują za karę. Jestem polka ale lubię zjeść dobrze . Inne lokale tej marki były super a tu żenada.

Service was slow we had our main meals and had to wait ages for our drinks then had eat our food with our hands as no knives and forks given had 2 desserts quickly but 3rd they forgot and had remind the waitress it wasn't that busy there either also the place was freezing as for 30 % off meals don't think they no there math !!!

Delivery was great. The portion size is an absolute rip off. £16 for literally 3 month fulls of pasta. And was average at best. Very disappointed. I don’t even have a big appetite never usually finish a meal but that portion size was incredibly small.

Service slow, lucky for us, we picked a Saturday evening where they were training new waiter staff. Food menu choices have been cutback to compared to the last time. A touch on the expensive side too Festive burger was enjoyed, but the spicy meat feast (pasta) was a compete disappoint. £15 for what was essentially spicy pasta with only three small meatballs. Local Italian next time - has real food.

I went there with my mom when she visit 🇬🇧 for the 1st time. The staff who deal with us was professional and took time to explain everything step by step which was great. We haven't wait for food too long, when food arrives it was looking so great. The pieces of chicken was melting 🫠 inside when chewing them. My mom was impressed 👏 👌 well done to F&B. Great atmosphere and style. Felt like back in times with Al Capone😅😅 great stuff will be back there definitely. Keep it that way. By the way it's plenty other restaurants in this area they also have a vue cinema and bowling centre plus gym with swimming pool.

Merthyr always been good, but a little expensive for a bowl of Pasta?

Waited ages starving , driver took my food to wrong address, cold by the time i got it & onion rings soggy. Just under 30 quid , not happy
