Frankie & Benny's in Merthyr Tydfil

Charlotte was very friendly and helpful. The sweet potato fries were slightly too oily for my taste but other wise good.

If you like overpriced, poor quality food that is cold due to slow service then I highly recommend this place, if not then avoid like the plague!

Awful time at this place awful waiting times rude staff ignored us and waited ten mins for the bill and another 10 minutes to pay for it rude bald customer complained about seat moving although it was his own kid phone constantly ringing and no one was picking up, overall dreadful won’t be going back there again

I havnt visited Frankie and bennys for a long time, it was a spur of the moment decision to take my mum and my 6yr old son there, so turned up with no booking on Mother’s Day 🙄 . The manager was fantastic, it was busy and she asked us to wait at the bar and she found us a table within 10 minutes. My son loved the malteaser milkshake as did I. The food was very tasty and portions were great. I’m sure our server was Sophie, who was wonderful, she was prompt and efficient, knowledgeable of the menu and keen to give recommendations, my son was indecisive on his dessert and she was quick to offer him alternatives, and he loved the jelly and fruit. 5 star overall from me and I shall be returning again, thanks.

Yesterday I visited the Merthyr Frankie and Benny’s restaurant. I was highly satisfied with the service I received for my lunch. The prices were reasonable and the restaurant was a lot cleaner than it used to be. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and I will definitely be back.

Came for mother's day and despite the restaurant being very busy our server callum was excellent. The food and drinks came out fast and he answered any questions without hesitation. Overall a great experience

BBQ RIBS far away from being Barbecue. Apart of barbeque sos theyre just roasted tasting like chicken. Strong 2 out of 10

Bland, over-priced food. Awful service. And to top it off, they have the audacity to try and coerce you into name dropping your server and giving them a 5* review. Won’t be coming back.

First time at Frankie and Benny's and honestly could not be happier with the food and service we received. Vicky was our server & she was so lovely, so friendly and bubbly. The food was amazing; we had the NYC brunch which reminded us of when we last had breakfast in the States. The sundae to follow was huge, well stuffed afterwards but well worth it! Will be coming back here again, thanks! 🫶

Me and my friend came to Frankie and Benny’s today to give It a go since I haven’t been since 2012 and It was brilliant. Food was amazing atmosphere despite being quite as It’s early In the day was great and fun with the music and lights. Vicky was a great host offering us drinks straight away as we sat.
