Frankie & Benny's in Leeds

The food is always lovely here but the service starts off great then gradually gets worse. On our most recent visit we waited God knows how long from finishing our meals to actually being able to pay and leave. Staff are friendly, just never seems to be many of them in!

Food was a bit expensive for what you got but it was tasty. The kids breakfast menu was limited with only 2 options. The waitress (Wiki) that served us was very friendly and helpful.

Ordered online food was unedible cold pizza looked like someone threw it in the box. The food was stone cold and when put complaint in no refund blame uber eats. They deliver not cook it I expect the food to be warm. I never eat from here ever again very disappointing

Today was our 1st time ever visiting Frankie and Benny's. We went to the one at White Rose Shopping Centre, Leeds. It was spotlessly clean, the service was really good especially with Leon serving us. He were so lovely, funny and perfect for doing the job. We ordered a starter and main. My husband and I were so full after our starters we could only eat part of our main. We asked Leon if we could have a doggy bag to take it home as it looked so delicious, there's no way we were leaving it. He brought us boxes to box it all up and we've just had it for tea/supper. Bare in mind we had the starter about 11.30am. It's kept us going all this time. I have to say, it's the best food I've tasted in a long, long time. We'll definitely be back. Compliments to the chef, Leon and all the staff.

Me and my fiancé visited Frankie and Bennys white rose and was served by Kathleen the Amount of care she has for her job is unbelievable the food was out this world Kathleen made sure we had everything we needed she wasn’t in our faces didn’t hover around us

Had the mac n’ cheese, and shared the onion rings and garlic bread. Everything was hot, quick, and delicious. Richie was a lovely server; welcoming, kind and quick!! We’ll come again next time we’re in White Rose.

Lovely food and great staff. Cater for GF which is worth the 5 star its self . Special thanks to Leon for making sure the GF dish was completely gluten free . Nothing was too much trouble and we had a very pleasant meal .

Richie tends to serve us when we visit. He is lovely and always enthusiastic, making us feel welcome no matter the time we visit. The food is excellent even with the menu revamp. While the chefs may change the standard is *chefs kiss* wonderful.

We went for lunch.two adults two kids. wasn’t much choice on the menu but did get free kids meals. graffiti on table. Very slow service and it was not busy. food was okay nothing amazing.

Very warm welcome shown to our seat that was clean and tidy very fast polite service we ordered the double bacon cheese burger with pulled pork with a jacket potato all cooked to profection the dessert was very at the White rose center Leeds would recommend very happy.

First time visiting here and I decided to go for Mac & cheese and I have to say I was utterly disappointed with it there wasn't any taste to it except for the taste of water !!! I can certainly say I won't be calling again 😞

We’ve visited Frankie & Benny’s many times over the years but our visit on Tuesday will be our last. The cheesy garlic breads which has always been our go to starter choice, had very little cheese on and only in the middle also had pieces with no cheese/garlic on at all. The onion rings were undercooked and not crispy at all. The chips seemed like warm ups. The bacon double cheeseburger had the smallest piece of bacon on it. My husband & myself ordered steak, out of the four mouthfuls he had, he has to spit three out because it was just full of gristle. At that point he refused to carry on eating it as asked for it to be taken away. My steak was ok till just over half way through when I encounter the same gristle experience. All this was after my husband witness the cook pick up our cooked steaks with his fingers not utensils to move them. They did offer my husband something else but by this point he was put off altogether so knocked his main off the bill. The whole quality of the food has taken a massive downhill and we won’t return again.

Came in for the brunch. Service was great and the food was lovely. Enjoyed the NYC breakfast with the pancakes and syrup.

Really great experience every time I come. I went tonight and had such an amazing meal. Was served by Richie and Hayley and they were both superb. Always great food and great service.

Delicious food- would recommend the full rack of ribs, so tender. We managed to leave room for dessert, the sundaes are amazing! Service from Rae and the team was fabulous, they were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. It was fairly busy but we were served quickly and efficiently. We were sat on the outside area of the restaurant but still had the birthday music played when they brought out our cake. It made a nice party table for the 14 of us. It was a lovely touch.

Had a very enjoyable brunch with friends. Extensive breakfast menu and my friend was very impressed with the amount of choice for vegetarians. Some dishes could also be adapted for vegans. Prices were very reasonable (all dishes under £12) and the portions were generous. The waiter was very friendly and chatty and the service was fast and efficient. Two of my friends asked for slight changes to the dishes they ordered and these were happily accommodated. We will be likely to return soon as there were lots of other options that we would like to try.

Shocking! Booked it for my daughters birthday, they didn't make it special for her, I mentioned it was her birthday it was shrugged off and not one staff member said happy Birthday, we've left very upset and the food was disappointing- seems this would be the reason there closing down.

Breakfast on Christmas Eve was lovely at Frankie’s White Rose. Food was amazing and service was great.

food came burnt, the man that was serving us wasn’t very welcoming when we entered, and was rude when we was ordering. when it came to paying we chose to pay by card and was forced to leave a tip of 5%

Food was perfect as always and the staff continue there commitment to excellent service, always welcoming and go above and beyond for us everytime we visit.

The vegan breakfast has been changed and is now not great at all. The scrambled tofu used to be really nice but the scrambled’eggs’ now on menu are awful. There was also not option to add a vegan sausage and the avocado was just 2 thin slices whereas it used to be mashed with flavouring added to it. Potato tots were better before as well

Took about 25 minutes to get service to order drinks, however waiter was really lovely. not very busy just average. The carbonara was really nice just a small portion and took a very long time to come out. scranned in 5 minutes give or take don’t think it was worth the wait. ordered the cookie dough desert and also took a long time to come out, the icecream was melted and cookie dough was clap cold and had a weird after tase. don’t recommend.

Unfortunately this is going to be a bad review so sad to see that when you have an allergy in your food order you get an eye roll from your waitress . She doesn’t know about allergies but can take orders with a table with an allergy when asking her questions we got an eye roll and a stinking attitude problem . The manager came over and took our order safe to say we won’t be returning please train your staff to be more understanding and maybe train them about allergies.

Ended up there for hours due to long wait time for food and constant issues like eventually getting told they had run out of what we had ordered. When we finally got to eat the food was average at best and certainly not worth the price, I could see our waiter was trying to make the best of a bad situation but after all that we will not be returning. Honestly there are better food options in white rose

Came for food before the cinema and Leon served us. They are so welcoming, friendly and just generally a lovely person. Would come back for the service alone. Food was also great, quick and tasty.

We came on Monday evening and was served by the lovely Richie. The food was great, in particular the meatballs! All round a really lovely experience and Richie in particular couldn’t do enough for us, thank you!

Discriminatory and Poor Service at Frankie & Benny’s Whitrose, Leeds I am writing to formally complain about the unprofessional and discriminatory treatment my family and I experienced at your Whitrose branch in Leeds on **18/11/2024**, during a birthday celebration for my husband and son. I had informed the waiter about our plans to celebrate and requested that the cakes we brought be lit with candles and served with music. The waiter instructed us to place the cakes on a side table, which was unusual based on my prior experiences at your other branches. Later, the waiter claimed the restaurant had no lighter to light the candles. However, shortly after, another table (a British party) received their cake with candles lit and music. I had to leave my guests to find a lighter in the shopping center. Upon returning, I learned that the shop manager had rudely told my guests that we were not allowed to celebrate there and insisted we leave. When I asked for the cakes to be served with music, the manager refused in an aggressive and disrespectful tone, ruining the celebration for my 5-year-old son and our family. This incident was deeply upsetting and seemed discriminatory, as other customers received full birthday service while we were denied. I request a formal investigation into this matter and an explanation for the unequal treatment. I also expect a written apology and assurance that appropriate action will be taken to address this unacceptable behavior. I look forward to your prompt response.

Went to the restaurant on Sat 16/11 and was served by Richie. Service was 10/10 and he was very attentive even though it was a really busy and I could see that everyone was rushed off their feet. The vegan pizza was lovely.

Called in the restaurant in The White Rose Leeds. Waited quite some time before drinks were brought and for our order to be taken. The food, when it arrived, was average at best. I had a chicken and pasta dish and my husband had a "pizza". It was more like a cardboard Frisbee with bits of chopped meat on top. Hardly any sauce or cheese. It cost a total of £42 for the meal and one beer and one coke. Total rip off, won't be visiting again.

Just a little disappointed as there was no ceasear salad as they ran out of dressing. Then no beef brisket and no brownies on the kids menu. Food was good though. Service from James was really good.

Can't believe a company has stopped doing breakfasts, surely this was one of their best sellers as it's usually quite busy. We weren't told any of this until we'd sat down and placed our drinks order. We decided not to stay as the brunch menu was all very sickly sweet and not very breakfasty, but unfortunately we had to honour our drinks bill which we wouldn't have ordered had we have seen the poor menu. Their food as a whole is quite poor so I doubt they have long for this world. Maybe the recent buy out is to run them into the ground, if so they're well on their way to

Fabulous food, great service, nothing was too much trouble, brilliant atmosphere.

Very poor eggs bennie were over cooked (boiled egg), muffin was not toasted and changing the crispy bacon for hash brown is bad mistake. No decaff drinks...definately not a bigger better frankies..not the fault of the staff poor management decision...no more visits

I paid 30 pounds for 2 pizzas for my friends and after we ate we were still not full all boththe pizzas are small

I ordered the Hawaiian pizza which I've got to say was the worst pizza I've ever eaten. It was hard to cut into with hardly any filling on top and tasted very bland. I complained and was asked if I'd like another making which I declined. I really didn't want another one of these. I left most of it but found when the bill came i was being charged the full price. I queried this and she knocked me 20% off he pizza. Shocking. I don't think I'll be visiting again.
