Frankie & Benny's in Leeds

Very poor eggs bennie were over cooked (boiled egg), muffin was not toasted and changing the crispy bacon for hash brown is bad mistake. No decaff drinks...definately not a bigger better frankies..not the fault of the staff poor management decision...no more visits

I paid 30 pounds for 2 pizzas for my friends and after we ate we were still not full all boththe pizzas are small

I ordered the Hawaiian pizza which I've got to say was the worst pizza I've ever eaten. It was hard to cut into with hardly any filling on top and tasted very bland. I complained and was asked if I'd like another making which I declined. I really didn't want another one of these. I left most of it but found when the bill came i was being charged the full price. I queried this and she knocked me 20% off he pizza. Shocking. I don't think I'll be visiting again.

Looking through the menu there is s burger selections. Bang in the middle is triple stack chicken which sound like 3 chicken steaks in s bin with guacamole and bacon too. This sounded amazing and at 15 quid you'd think it would be amazing! Unfortunately, though, it was a small piece of chicken on bog standard loaf bread with an additional layer of said bacon and guacamole. This came with chips. However, I'd not eaten that day and it was 6.30pm and I was starving. The bread despite being toasted tasted stale and the chicken was slightly undercooked. That was all I had that day. I'm afraid to say that the meal actually gave me an upset stomach the and consequently the runs the following morning. This will be my only experience as I certainly will not be returning to this overpriced and over valued establishment!

Turned away from nandos quite rudely, went to frankie and bunny's in white rose, great welcome, friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Gemma was lovely, chatty and friendly. Will definitely come again

The staff are always welcoming whenever I visit with my 10 year old daughter. Nothing is too much trouble. I do think the food can be bland depending on what you order and a little overpriced for example I ordered a casear salad and it was mainly lettuce no other salad ingredients and it cost £11.95 didn't have any real taste the dressing helped a little. I also had the potato skins, and again, they were rather tasteless and dry. Apart from the food the staff are always friendly and never rush you.

Loads of tables empty especially outside but never enough staff to serve you. Multiple times this has happened. Went to pizza hut instead

Very disappointing. Food cold, garlic bread dry and cold like it had been made and left out to go cold, one pasta too spicy, no real flavour just spicy.

Me and my family ate here earlier today! The food was lovely, our server Scarlett was an angel! She was absolutely swept off her feet and was running around helping others. We used our tastecard too which was fantastic for money and value. We will most definitely be back 😸

Although the food was of good standard, improvements could have been made. The hummus on the burger was almost invisible there was that little of it. The Tiramisu was of nice texture and well presented, however the taste was borderline tasteless. The atmosphere is great, we love coming to this restaurant because we always feel welcome and never rushed. We were waited on by Megan this evening, she was very professional and got the balance right of friendliness. Her appearance was clean and smart, and her welcoming was perfect. Her patience was exceptional and she is a real asset to the brand. Big thank you.

Cold food, even after warmed up

We enjoyed the food but took ages to be seated even though there were tables free. A few groups waiting behind us ended up leaving and going elsewhere. We would have but being at the front of the queue we kept thinking it can't take much longer. Once we were seated it took ages again to take our order, we couldn't get anyone's attention, it was like we were invisible. The food was nice though but again, we asked for the bill and it took longer than necessary. This all contributed to a poor atmosphere. If they could get the staff to be warm and friendly and make the service quicker then I'm sure more people would enjoy eating here. The other people in my party said they will not go back here.

Went today ...No sign asking to wait to be seated. Few people queuing well over 10 mins. No staff on front desk so all waiting went to seat themselves, my group included. After a while a server came and asked why we were seated and if someone had seated us as they were only taking bookings and we could not order or eat there? Same happened with others seated even though there was lots of empty tables and no signs on tables stating reservations/bookings only? Anyhow most of the customers who were rudely sent away went to other restaurants in the food area, some to Fridays where we ended up. Have to say service was impeccable,had varied gluten free, didn't have to wait even though it was very busy. Food delicious. Lovely,friendly helpful staff. Frankie and Benny's ?? Your loss...your rude servers are losing your company money...won't be going here again and I'm sure others refused service won't either.

Ordered spaghetti bolognaise but the order came with a pea size drop of bolognaise sauce. It’s super dry and plain wouldn’t waste my money again.

Despite being 75% empty, they refused to let us be seated for an evening meal, despite there being only 2 of us. Apparently if we’d have booked online, we would’ve been fine. Very rude manager, poor customer service.

Service and food was appalling. Waiting over an hour for a set lunch don't understand why it took so long kept making excuses its busy clearly can't cope with lunch time rush. Starter was given an hour before main don't understand that when food was ordered at same time. Have to admit hugely disappointed as been before but such a shame they can't get food out on time.

Went in Saturday and it was really busy, the staff did not stop the whole time we were there. Food was lovely, staff friendly would definitely recommend and return!

Had to wait ages to give our food order because the woman was to busy flirting with a White Rose security guard, had to be told by someone else to take our order, she stood there most of the time chewing gum with her mouth wide open. The price for four little chicken strips was £7.75 and looked ridiculous for the price, see photo, was just a miserable atmosphere, will not be going back.

Food lovely, staff efficient and friendly Pleasant surroundings

Slow service, waiting over an hour for food, watched over 20 meals get sent back for been cold or wrong, paid for our drinks and cancelled the meals. The kitchen staff were bang out of order with their attitude towards the service staff, made one of the waitresses cry!

We had a pizza party for 12 boys for a 10th birthday celebration. Emily was our host and did a brilliant job, this was the first time this restaurant has done a pizza party but they managed it amazingly. You get a chef’s hat and apron, then the pizza base with toppings to make your own, then while they cook the pizzas you get a pizza box to decorate. The children said the pizzas were the tastiest they’ve ever had. Emily couldn’t do enough to help us out, she was constantly on hand and responding immediately to the needs of the children with more toppings and drinks etc. the birthday boy is desperate to go back!

Wait staff are a bit rude and pushy

Very disappointing. Didn’t mind waiting. But people getting served before us. But if they’d have been totally busy it’s understandable. But watching the chefs playing about Is not on. We walked out. Didn’t get food think they forgot about us. People served who came in after us and leaving before we Got ours. Not the way to run a business !!!!!

Emily ! What can I say… amazing customer service. Even after our fussy 5 year old said in front of Emily that she would prefer to go to Nando’s due to enjoying the gluten free mash. To which Emily’s response was we have mash here too! 😊 We went through the menu which was great as we struggle to eat out with our daughter who is coeliac. My daughter enjoyed her dinner and Emily made it a really enjoyable experience and put us at ease by just being herself with our daughter and just the little things like getting some colouring and including her in the conversations. 5 star experience ! Thank you Emily ☺️

Just called in for coffee with friends. Very friendly and efficient service, excellent coffee too.

Won't be going back. Food was poor quality and bland, obviously cooked from frozen. Mentioned to the waitress that the chips were very dry and we weren't happy with them, nothing was done about it. Service was very slow, staff seemed disinterested. Floor and tables were not clean, we saw a waitress/supervisor wiping the table crumbs onto the seats and leaving them there. The music was playing far too loud, zero atmosphere, couldn't wait to finish and leave.

Rude impolite staff and management is no better if i could give them zero stars i would!!! shocking behaviour and i will be emailing the head office to further complain about are issues!!! avoid at all costs!!!! And i’ve been going to frankie’s and bennies for the last 20 years and we’ve also held our business meetings and dinners there and will never attend or book again! one word for the staff is vile!

Would give no stars if I could, left us sat at a table waiting for 10 minutes while staff wandered past us ignoring us on their phones, its worth noting the restaurant wasnt busy at all. They were too interested in Facebook to serve us and more bothered to talk to their colleagues, gave us a very unprofessional attitude, I won't be returning.

Went for a table today was stood waiting for 20 minutes just to get seated after been told 2 minutes when we first arrived the staff were only bothered about taking orders rather than seating waiting customers we were need up leaving after not getting seated and we felt really disappointed in the lack or customer service and professionalism it’s definitely a restaurant we won’t be returning too.

Food was awful. We complained about 4 out 8 courses we had. The best part of our experience was the waiter who was pleasant & helpful. We will not return.

Over priced food. Under rated descriptions.

I remember this place as something nostalgic and warm as a kid. Old 60's Elvis music playing with the italian x American interior and the comfy red leather seats. I returned after years of not attending and now I feel like I'm in your average corporate diner. Modern dry music playing, old interior made more modern and no more of the red colour scheme. It was only 5 years ago when I loved it and now it's a bland experience. Food is alright tho.

! LIVE SNAIL IN FOOD ! We ordered a pizza, chips and salad and we were served the food which came with a LIVE snail. The snail was still alive and crawling over the food. We obviously flagged this up with the server who referred us to the manager - needless to say they were apologetic but this is still unacceptable! If we hadn’t have noticed, we’d have consumed that poor animal.

Came for breakfast for my friends birthday I’ll start with the service it was spot on lovely well presented well spoken young lady…now the food…it arrived within about 4 mins of ordering the bacon was massively undercooked the eggs were raw the sausage was pink in the middle the toast was just bread I’m so disappointed with the food it’s unreal I didn’t make a fuss or complain in store due to having my friend with us and not wanting to ruin her birthday but seriously people avoid breakfast here 33 quid u should spend elsewhere!

I ordered a ceacer salad....I should have read what it consists of....but I didn't...a bed of lettuce with 4 croutons on and some kind of flavouring wich they said it was Parmasam...ihad to pay extra for a chicken breast to go with it...it was £15 .....like a child's portion...ripped off....thats all I can describe it

Service was very awkward, the table next to us left without paying because their food came frozen cold. This should have set the tone and I wish we’d left then but we’d just finished ordering. Our food came extremely bland and cold. We probably each ate a couple bites of it and left the rest. The waitress then came back over and didn’t even ask if there was anything wrong with it, just took the plates and left the bill for us. At this point I felt quite awkward bringing it up and begrudgingly paid as I’m not the greatest at anything somewhat confrontational, the bill had just been left and the wait staff didn’t appear to be heading back towards us. I won’t be going to another Frankie & Benny’s after this experience being my first and only time dining at one.

Terrible service! As soon as me and my fellow colleagues came into Frankies and Benjamin, we were greeted by a rude and offensive employee (whom of which was balding) and didn’t take us seriously for ordering as we had lots of people with us. He treated us as an inconvenience. After he had seated us, he was still being rude when he took our order. We waited for the food to come. It was overpriced. Damn right. It was £40 for 2 pizza and 4 milkshakes we were expecting a bigger pizza due to the standards set by the media, however it was very small. Smaller than….. My food tech students could make a better pizza. Never come here again it is a rip off of your money!.

A smaller than usual Frankie & Benny's in the White Rose centre. We chose from the lunch menu, which was reasonably priced compared to some of the other items. Had a wait for the food to arrive, but when it did, it was lovely. The service was great and the staff were professional and friendly. We'll be going back at some point.

Went here because too busy for any where else ,staff were great,quite clean, very average BBQ chicken burger,not much chicken for the £14 price, chicken is very cheap,burger bun too small for meat which kept sliding out, chips were ok as were the milkshakes,F&B give better value for expensive average meals....

Truly dreadful dining experience. We've been "giving this another try" for far too long now and our latest terrible experience was the icing on the cake. My Wife ordered the Sicilian Calzone, it was raw and uncooked. I ordered the meatballs and had the runs. We ordered Chocolate brownie with whipped cream, no ice cream and they brought it with ice cream. The service was nothing less than appalling, slow and inattentive, zero apologies for serving cold food and practically giving me food poisoning, charging us £60 for the pleasure with not a discount for the shocking experience in sight. This restaurant is in trouble and I can see why. I fear 2024 will be the end of the line for Frankie & Bennys and it's just lost our family as paying customers.

Great experience when we visited at teatime 2nd December '23. Food tasty, decent portion sizes and fair prices. Our waitress Emily was an absolute gem! So friendly, welcoming and helpful. A credit to the team!

Good grub, good service I just find it a tad expensive

Appalling service by staff more interested in having a laugh than providing customers service. Food quality is poor, evident frozen food, which has been reheated- steak quality isn't good either. Price should be noted that this is mega expensive considering it's re heated freezer food- so expensive for what you actually get!

Called for a late breakfast/eatly lunch before tackling the Christmas shopping! Staff were friendly but not in your face. Food came out fairly quickly, but that may have been as we ordered breakfast food rather than waiting for the 12 noon menu switch! Place was very busy for so early, which is a good sign, although some may look at that as a negative I most certainly do not! Would I go again, probably!

The drink selection, typical of Frankie and Benny's, offered a variety, although beers and cocktails leaned towards the expensive side. On a positive note, the free refill option for Zero Sugar Soda was a welcomed touch. Service at Frankie and Benny's was a standout. Despite being informed of a 10-minute wait at the door, we were promptly seated after only 2 minutes. The woman serving us was not only efficient but also friendly, engaging in a pleasant chat that added a personal touch to the dining experience. In summary, Frankie and Benny's delivered a positive dining experience with good food, despite the slight delay on a busy day. Have been there couple of times. One of The worst French Toast (Chocolate + banana) I have ever eaten….. Don’t worth the price…. Bread is not warm Banana is too raw… Chocolate sauce had no taste… The big one all day breakfast can’t complain. Worth the price. Drink list is rich. Main course so far is quite good. Staff are helpful in deed.

big decline in quality of food went in around 4:30pm ordered our drinks straight away and noticed they were left on the bar for best part of 40 minutes we then ordered our food and was served it within 20 minutes but it tasted stale told the staff and replaced it but it wasnt much of an improvement the whole meal cost us £45 and wasnt even worth £5
