Franco always welcomes you. His staff very kind and despite the rushed environment of fast food. He is always cleaning the shop is spotless. Food is freshly cooked he prides himself on that. Pizzas are fantastic. Make your own. Chicken tikka Tabasco sauce and jalapeño. It’s spicy!!

Phoned in the order, so when I got there I just had to pay and get my ticket with the order number, then wait outside for the number to be called and also comes up on a screen a great system, a short wait and then the usual great tasting fish supper, enjoyed every last bit, well done and thank you for providing this service in such difficult times.

2 visits in 2 weeks, we were getting a new kitchen fitted so where else would you go, always the same, would not anywhere else

we tried Francos for the first time last night, we found the staff friendly, and we really enjoyed the fish suppers that we had with a carton of mushy peas, and a nice wee touch a lemon wedge, the fish was nice and white and flaky, cooked fresh. and the chips were really good, our first time, not our last

Food always excellent from here. Very busy so sometimes a wee wait but worth it. Good choice on menu and all fresh made.

We visit regularly and have never been disappointed. Food is fresh, service is quick and friendly and prices are competitive. Menu is varied although veggie burgers would be a welcome addition for the vegetarians in our family. Pizzas are lovely though. Definitely recommend Franco and his team.

Food is always great from Francos. You may have to wait during peak times as it can be very busy, but food is always fresh and tasty. Not expensive and portions are large.

Las pizzas son deliciosas con francos hechas a mano la masa. Su cena de pescado especial es una porción muy generosa y sus patatas fritas vienen en 3 tamaños. Franco mismo es todo un personaje que recuerda a todos sus clientes y personalizar su pizza de acuerdo a sus gustos. Bien merece una visita.

It's the only chip shop we visit in Wishaw the pizzas are fantastic my kids won't eat fritters from any other chip shop always friendly staff always busy but it defo worth the wait never disappointed 👍

The best chip shop in Lanarkshire staff are so friendly even when they are serving at full speed which is most of the time cos it's all ways busy Franco is a great fryer his chips is nearly as good as his patter. His fish is full of flavour. No matter if Monday ,Wednesday, or Friday,no matter what you get its just The best o I nearly for got the pizzas you can Evan get a chocolate one simply the best

Tasty fish and chips along with other meals. Pizza is delicious. Well priced suppers. Drinks also available. Always busy which show good quality and consistency.

Amazing food. Franco is just the best. He is friendly and what a great memory. He always has a smile and so helpful. Easy on the eye too haha! Defo recommended all his food. In particular the pizza's. The dough is to die for. Burgers are outstanding. The selection is huge. Defo give it a try. He beats all the other takeaways in the area.

Clean and freshly cooked. Nice amount and the batters always crispy. Served in a a box so not too greasy.

Back on home turf after time spent in the decent chip shop desert that is Glasgow. You never know what you've got till it's gone! Top product from a top professional as always.

The owner is a lovely guy who will go out of his way to make food to your liking - happy with special requests.. Chips are always spot on. Pizzas are proper home made but have some wacky recipes eg- chocolate. Highly recommended

What's to say it's a chip shop.Best pizza in the area and fish is usually done well. Good sized portions and Franco himself is an excellent fryer.

If we ever have a chip shop takeaway we always go to Francos. There are several chip shops in the area and we've tried them all but Francos is the best!

francos in newmains is the best chippie in wishaw the pizzas are fantastic so are the chips and fritters whenever you go its always busy which speaks for its self its the only chipshop in wishaw id use and my kids know the differance if i go to other chippie if francos is really busy and refuse to eat it

The best fish and chips in the area. Fish is always a decent size, succulent and in lovely batter. Very popular so waiting time can sometimes be long as they seem to prioritise phoned orders. Top quality though so full marks.

Francos offers a wide range of oven-baked pizzas and suppers to go (we had a plain pizza, and fish and haggis suppers). They also deliver. The place was packed with people picking up orders and no wonder; the food was very good. Definitely a chippie I would return to.
