Amazing every time eat in or out! Started with a lock down saviour now it’s a regular haunt! Love it and friendly staff/ owners

After reading the reviews I had high hopes for us grabbing some good pizza for the family during our visit. Ordered online collected bang on time, 7 minutes drive and the pizza was cold. Everyone ate, I warmed mine in the oven, thin floppy, chewy with chips that tasted under cooked, the garlic bread was better than the pizza! The family all agreed we wouldn’t recommend this place for pizza. There are other places that I think you can get better value for money.

Absolutely belting food, everything arrived red hot & cooked brilliantly. The pizzas were absolutely spot on along with the pasta & ribs. Highly recommend & couldn’t fault it. Well worth a visit.

Got Francesco’s for my birthday meal and it was amazing. Really delicious. Would highly recommend. They even sent me a complimentary Tiramisu for my birthday and drew a little cake on it! ☺️ It was really lovely and made the meal extra special ✨

I ordered a 12" pizza which was ok taste wise but it was not at all that size plus wasn't a lot of ingredients on top. Won't be going again as there are plenty of establishments in town that give much better value for money.

First time we've been for a while, and it appears to be under new management. Not for the better. Cheap and nasty pizza and sadly not recommended

Having experienced pizza from Francesco's (previously F1) we thought we would be in for a tasty takeaway dinner on Friday night. . . . Unfortunately all three pasta dishes disappointed. Not hot enough (we collected and were on time for our slot, if a little early) - meatballs were tepid at best and not much seafood to be seen in the pescatore. I found my pasta sauce lacked the depth of flavour I would expect from an Italian establishment. Just too bland. The pizza was soggy and chewy, not up to previous crispy, thin base standards that have been seen. The chicken kebab was a good sized portion and was reported as tasty. The only other saving grace was garlic bread - cheesy one was tasty and hot, parmesan one was probably the most garlicky. There are other pizza takeaways in the local area and unless we hear good news of improvements here, the competition will be seeing our ££££'s in the near future.

Arrived 15 minutes early so stone cold by the time all the other food arrived. Pizza was average even for a takeaway

Would rate a 5 star if I knew what the pizza taste like as it didn’t come. 5 star if your on a diet as you won’t consume any calories but you get to pay top wack. Pizza was non existent and garlic bread was cremated and 40 minutes late. Peace and love x x x Ps still hungry

We all really enjoyed everything we ordered - it even managed to please fussy teens! Very fresh, traditional pizzas and delicious extras - will definitely order again!

Family party ordered for first time food came early that was no problem the portions where large The Lasagne was fantastic The pasta meat balls was enough for two piping hot my son had the triple burger beef burger and chicken in middle great son from Blackpool said it was the best take away he has ever had and they use a few in Blackpool .I had the Burger and chips with salad piping hot Total price was only £32.00.pound Fantastic Value best food in Clitheroe The venue was reccomended will use you again soon thank you .

The burger was tough, the chips were barely warm and the chicken kebab was swimming in so much grease that it was leaking out of the container and into the bag. The pitta bread looked nice but it was so soggy with this disgusting grease that I threw the whole think into the bin. Dinner ruined. There aren’t many excellent takeaways in Clitheroe and, sadly, this is just another poor one. No care, no attention to detail, no more money from me.

I was recommended to use this by a bon viveur who dines around with his partner. He knows his food. Well; let's start with the telephone call, which was good until I asked for the total amount payable! No response but the staff seemed to be having a laugh-about me?-who knows as they had not switched off the phone! True pros!?!? I asked because I had only a few bob on my person...... so who gives a monkeys????????????? I made a comment about this to the deliverer and he told me he would feedback my message. As if? The garlic bread was almost faultless-well it was perfect for a takeaway! The pizza base is clearly made from dough balls on the premises-unlike some chains who pretend but buy in bases. But: there was no evidence of tomato puree/whatever on the base. There was cheese in evidence but the vegetables, mainly onions had not been cooked-they were hard. All in all it was like having a cheese and onion sandwich with tomato. I did like the hot chillis.... but I would like-as I have eaten in France and made for myself a pizza with tomato base the some cheese and then..... One learns from ones' experiences; happily my Down's son has already eaten or he would have hit the roof!!!!!!

best Take away in Clitheroe. Always fresh and super tasty. Friendly service and fast delivery. A good variety of pizzas and pastas available to choose from.

Always use Francesco’s for takeaway pizza. Always fresh and delicious pizza. Delivery is quick and free or call ahead and collect from the shop. Have used many times no complaints. Would definitely recommend. recommend the Vesuvio pizza.

had takeaway of pizzas, pasta and garlic bread last night. great quality, on time and very friendly service. we visit italy at least twice a year and this was very good food when compared with similar food in italy. keep it up guys. thanks and see you soon.

great food, friendly staff, the best Italian takeaway in Clitheroe by far. Not always the cheapest but you pay for quality ingredients. The pasta's are very tasty and the pizza are all hand rolled to order.

I would love to be able to review the food. Sadly this was not to be the case. After making an order through Just eat after a hard days work I came home looking forward to a Saturday night takeaway with my partner. With the order processed we eagerly awaited our dinner. Alas it wasn’t to be. Our order was cancelled without reason. (Note here we have ordered a pizza from here previously) so the 9 minute journey previously undertaken was obviously not a issue. Until today. After telephoning I was rudely informed that they wouldn’t be delivering to our area today. I find this level of inconsistency unprofessional and frustrating. This is the service industry and as so service should be of the highest priority. Consequently I will no longer visit this place again. Very disappointed

Excellent food, non greasy really nice pizza base. The one criticism I have is that their dessert selection is extremely limited and so if they run out you're left waiting for a refund on the desserts. To their credit they rang me and advised about the desserts and promised to sort out the refund with Just Eat. Whilst that is appreciate obviously if you are ordering food for family you end up having to go out to buy dessert. Would be much more preferable to have alternatives to offer.

After reading very good reviews, we were looking forward to a treat, but were disappointed. The pizzas we ordered did not look or taste very appetising and the pasta, although better, was a bit bland.

Best in the North of England, only pizza I have ever had to compare is from a small Tuscan village called Montieri. Superb like always.

food was ok nothing special the first time but this time it was disappointing the chicken wing was swimming in bbq sauce and the sauce was so tangy and sour thought I order sweet and sour from the Chinese. Also, I can’t believe I paid £4.50 for 3 pieces of twig ribs I understand you give 3 pieces of ribs if there were meaty but it was barely big than a mars bar.

Fantastic pizzas - authentic handmade bases and plenty of topping. Very pleased.

Have been here for both eat in and takeaway food and it is always fresh and consistently good. Staff are all polite and friendly. I cannot speak highly enough of Franchesco's.

Don't know what has happened over the past month but the quality and care has definitely gone down. Food cold and very bland and the delivery guy couldn't seem happier to shove my food at me (which also wasn't bagged)pizza which was a Bolognese one hasn't seen Bolognese meat sauce and the extra toppings, one none existent and the other which was was very grey and tasteless supposeded Italian sausage (doesn't need a genius to see wasn't) wasn't a welcome addition. Such a shame that a italian takeaway we once loved has now gone under.

Ordered a garlic bread and got a pizza instead, it has happened 4 times now. This time i cudnt be bothered ringing and waiting for them to change it, shame because the food is good.

£2.50 delivery for food that shows up 15 minutes late? Would definitely expect it to arrive on time after the 20 mins you originally added. Poor service

This place is quite literally the best pizza establishment around. The pizza is to the highest standard with fresh ingredients and stone baked to perfection just like in Italy. I go every single weekend without fail and order 16" Quattro Stagioni with extra chicken. They know my order by now and make me feel like a regular. The staff are class, Italian boss man is a top geez. I would recommend this place to every man and women on earth.

We live out in a village and ordered pizzas for delivery an hour later - all ordered on line (for which we got a discount) and received on time by a smiley delivery man. It was freezing cold and the pizzas were piping hot and very tasty. They were much enjoyed by children and adults - no leftovers for breakfast sadly - and very nice thin bases. Thank you and we’ll use you again!

The garlic bread was hard the pasta was nice and soft but not taste to it the chips had salt on and I never ask for salt they was really salty

Excellent food but couldn't find the chillies we paid extra for.

I got a different main meal than I ordered and despite preordering and choosing a specific delivery time it arrived an hour early which although would normally be good it was inconvenient sadly

Arrived cold, which is a great shame as it was quite tasty. The chips were tepid and rubbery. The pizza was easy to warm up the kebab could of been great if it had been hot not easy to warm because of the salad. On the plus side though the driver was very considerate informing us that he would be 5 mins late.

I've ordered a few times, and I wouldn't order from anyone else.

Kebab was a bit poor - quite small compared to previous. Ribs were mostly fat although sauce was tasty. We have had better from here so slightly disappointed.

Sauce would be better separate because the chips were very soggy.Also given the wrong ice cream.Delivery time was very good.The meat ball spaghetti and the chicken nuggets were nice.

Shite phoned after 1 and a half hours and had dropped our food will never use again

Pizzas delivered earlier than stated when ordered. Enjoyed. Disappointed charged for delivery as never have been previously. Also charged for paying with debit card and definitely stated debit card on order.

Excellent as always! First time charged delivery on a £24 order though! The driver said it is because its through Just Eat so won't be ordering through it again.

Ordered chicken and bacon pizza and got the wrong order it was garlic bread. It was then replaced with the correct pizza put the chicken awful, bacon was hardly cooked and no tomatoe base. We won't be ordering again!

Order never arrived, no phone call, no explanation. The order was paid for in advance. No one answered the phone at the restaurant. Have previously had good experiences but won't order again.

Usually one of my favourites in clitheroe but was slightly disappointed as my pasta had very little sauce which meant I was unable to eat very much. :(

No te confundas esta pizza era otro nivel. . Lo mejor para llevar pizza que he tenido el placer de comer. excelente. No puedo decir lo suficiente sobre este lugar. .
