I went to the Thursday Night Music Club event and had a great time.

Very friendly pub adult pub feel so welcome and feel apart of the family Monday club is amazing woth bingo,stickys and karaoke and so so much more that goses off in here they have live music on a Thursday night Dogs are welcome until 6 you can

Relaxed atmosphere with really friendly people. The manager is very experienced and makes you feel very welcome.

Our Band played a gig here as part of the Netherfest celebrations. We were given a warm welcome by the landlady, staff and the locals and had a great evening. A proper 'reak' traditional English pub with genuine, friendly people... Look forward to going back very soon!

We went in for the Thursday evening Open mic session, Ordered drinks to find payment was cash only, I haven't carried cash since the advent of Covid... The room was quite full, with no available tables or seating, as the lady behind the bar explained there is a "no standing at the bar policy " We stood at the back of the room, with our drinks for a short while, whilst watching the various entertainers. The evening it's self seemed to be going well, but we decided not to re order...

Absolutely brilliant the bar staff and the management were great it was great to be in a traditional public house it was great to be able to remenis about the good old days.

Friendly and welcoming little pub. Landlady always welcomes you with a smile and nothing is to much trouble, landlord is old shcool wit and humour. Sunday dinners are very reasonable prices.grass roots spit and sawdust place with entertainment most days

Good friendly atmosphere but even after a re deck a tad grotty...

A just slightly better than 'a dump' pub. Lack of investment has kept this pub down, it has character, as do the regulars. Plus points: bring your own take-away, pool table, and there is a very good boxing club upstairs. So, go there and support it, otherwise it will close down, and we need to support our local pub!
