The portion was very small and i ordered the chow mein and it was mainly vegetables and barely any noodles or chicken which was very disappointing considering the price of the meal. Did not enjoy the food. The prices were a lot different than the prices that are shown online. I don’t understand why they don’t just update the menu online to avoid confusion.

I'm giving the food a 2 just because the crackers were good and the beef curry was half decent. The whole Chinese was warm. The chilli shredded beef looked like it was covered in thick gravy and when tasting it it just tasted like strong vinegar and tomato ketchup mixed together. No chilli taste at all or even a chilli in the dish. Prawn roast was ok. The BBQ spare ribs were ok. I would say it was a very mediocre chinese. £36 was way to high! It filled 2 plates worth of food. The price definitely wasn't because of the flavours or portions. I'm sorry to hate but I will not return here again and wouldn't advise others to. I honestly think it's a waste of money. The crispy shredded chilli beef just ruined everything. The quality is very poor. Sorry again for the bad review but I think I read some similar reviews before I tried this place. Next time I should listen to them.

It is extremely difficult to find fresh ingredients, a professional chef, extreme cleanliness and authentic flavours in a take away. What tempted me to this restaurant was the owners responses to what are obviously fabricated bad reviews. When I called this restaurant a lovely polite young man answered the phone. As I normally avoid takeaways due to the disappointment you almost always feel I was very surprised by the attentiveness and excellent recommendations. Once I arrived to pick up my order, I walked in and was welcomed and paid for my order. Very importantly and amazingly the entire kitchen is open so you can see the entire cooking process. Let me tell you the chefs white are pristine white, the meticulous way the chefs cook the food is lovely to watch. You can tell they take great pride in cooking and every dish was cooked completely fresh and in a beautiful clean kitchen. I took the food home and honestly it was absolutely outstanding. I had the schezuan chicken, beef in black bean sauce, Singapore rice noodles and prawn toast. It was absolutely lovely. It is a family that cook the food. I think husband, wife and auntie. I 100% recommend this Chinese and will definitely be going back. Thank you for a lovely meal

As a Cantonese I would say I love Singapore fried rice. I ate alone and was so full while 1/4 fried rice was left, and I finished the rest the next day. The hot and sour soup was also great but the shrimp (or prawn? not sure) still has a bit flavor of fish (I don’t know if this is specific, in Chinese we say 腥味). The price is also great!! I hope I would have an opportunity to try other dishes next time :)

Lovely food but I thought it was quite expensive and portions were not that big. We had 2 Chicken dishes, 2 soups, a plain noodle and rice and prawn crackers. £36. It’s a shame as a it’s so expensive a lot of people won’t be able to afford to get a takeaway in future! I understand food prices etc have increased but not all local Chinese takeaways are this expensive! We will return to our favourite in the town centre which unfortunately was closed tonight.

Having visited Four Seasons now on and off for 3 years i thought it was about time i sent in a review. Clearly i like the place or i wouldn't go back. What i like is the charming family who run the place, the extra staff when they are busy, the fact it is always immaculate and everything looks and is cooked fresh, and on view. is it the best and most inventive or ethnically interesting Chinese food i have ever eaten, no. Yesterday the crispy duck was a little dry tbh, but i am still going to give F S 5 stars because i like the place very much and the people who run it. x

What an absolute joke this place is. Just got charged £20 for the "half" Peking duck I ordered, they literally put crackers are the bottom of the duck portion to make it look like there's more duck there, however only 1/2 the Tupperware has duck in. Oh, the kicker? The duck is SO overcooked it's basically crackling. Only order from here if you love being ripped off.

I’ve given the takeaway one stars because they’re never open as they advertise for example today as a Tuesday on the menu they state that they are open but they are not. very disappointing. food is great but shame that they are unpredictable when they’re open. They never leave a answer machine saying message saying that they are close at a certain date. And They don’t leave any notes on the door to say when they are closed. So now I go to more reliable takeaway that deliver. and now have given up going to Four Seasons. We were hoping this takeaway would redeem themselves but yet again we drove past tonight on the Thursday and hoping to get some food for my partner yet again they were closed which one the menu they state they open from Tuesday to Sunday… and previously we drove past and they were close before The time that they stated on the menu at 10:30.. and that was before 9 o’clock..Sorry to say this to the owner but this is really under acceptable how do you run a business. Maybe I’ll get better luck with the weather.

This our favourite takeaway restaurant for Chinese food. We don’t go anywhere else and haven’t for a few years. It’s at the pricier end so we go less often but our money is never wasted. The only downside is that you don’t get free prawn crackers with ANY spend. We spent over £90 for a group order and they still told us no. What happened? I had food from here before but tonight (Halloween) it was terrrible. It looked good and you could tell it was cooked fresh but our chow mien tasted of nothing (really watery, no flavour) and crispy chilli beef instead of sticky chilli sauce had some red goopy sauce, it looked like they have run out of chilli sauce and to make it go longer way added a LOT of ketchup and a bit of chilli spice. Not sticky, not sweet and spicy. Just chilli ketchup. We were so dissapointed as this was a treat but will go somewhere else next time as recently its a hit and miss and not worth a gamble. A shame.

Portion size was good and the taste was amazing. Tbh I usually find Chinese food aittle bland but not with this order. The meals ranged from chicken fried rice to szechuan and although we ate our own meals each person tried a little of the other. Everyone agreed that their meals were very good. Have used many times over the years but whilst outside and running into to shop I come out to the staff shouting obscenities at my wife for being slightly in one of there spaces (didnt help there car was in 1 and 1/2) will never use ever again. Addition after owner response: The shop I had come out of was actually the one next door initially so that's wrong, I then walked over the road. Also as an historical customer I am effectively a customer just not in that instance (and never will be again). Also there is such a thing called manners. If someone was there with the way you speak to people (yes I left out the bit where my wife was asked to get out the f^^king car) any potential new customers would never use you.
