Fortune Garden Chinese Takeaway in Glasgow City

Have been ordering chilli honey and salt & pepper chicken from here for a while now. No complaints, the food is always tasty and the delivery times predictable. Their new website also lets ppl chose no onion /mushrooms / etc, which is nice. They always throw in some free prawn crackers, which are always appreciated. Delivery drivers have been friendly.

Food is absolutely amazing, we didn't realise we couldn't pay by card when we tried to phone but the lovely lady Lynn was so helpful & directed us to the website so we could order & honestly I never get takeaways cause I love to cook my own food but this might have the best takeaway I've ever had, please do order from here you will not regret it

Do not order from here they will send u whatever they feel like not what u order and then go nuts when u call to ask where you ordered is and what we did eat had me and my family sick as dogs for a week eat at ur own risk

Best Chinese in our area - their salt and chilli chicken is amazing, and the portion sizes never disappoint!

This place is the best Chinese in the Southside at the moment. Brilliant chicken chow mein, chicken noodle soup is to die for and the delivery driver was lovely! Fortune garden has become my local, such great value for money.

Avoid at all costs. This place has went severely downhill. Missing items from orders which doesn't get rectified and also fried food tastes stale like it's been reheated several times.

Food is amazing. Portions are massive. Highly recommend give it a try

Food Was Absolutely Beautifull Portion Size's Are Amazing 😍 & I Just Cant Get Over How Cheap It Is 😍🤩 I Got Set Meal For One That Would Have Easily Fed 2 , Chicken Fried Rice Large Curry Sauce & Salt & Chilli Chips All For £7:90 🥰 I Also Got Mushrooms In Gravy £3:30& In A Long Tray Got Plenty ,Delivery Guy Was So Nice & Friendly & Only Waited 15 Mins Defo 10 Out Of 10 From Me 👍

A small, clean and fresh carry out shop. All the usual Chinese food quickly prepared by friendly staff.

The food is really good. Reasonably priced and good helping. Highly recommended. I was surprised at those negative reviews but realised that those negative reviews were of GOLDEN HOUSE, from previous owner. This is the new owner just started over a month back and the new name is FORTUNE GARDEN. So guys, the NEGATIVE reviews are for GOLDEN HOUSE.

Highly recommended, ordered a takeaway last week, the food was really good especially sweet n sour chicken and ribs. Also very reasonably priced and good helpings. Just be aware that the negative reviews are of GOLDEN HOUSE (The previous takeaway). This new takeaway FORTUNE GARDEN started about over a month.

Loads of meat in the dishes and taste beautiful. Will be my new local 👏

ordered at 9pm and its now 11.10pm and still no delivery and they close at 11. called at 10.30 to be told it had left . now cant get an answer . quick to take money through just eat . over 2 hrs wait .

Ordered on just eat. Took my money waiting for order to be confirmed by the restaurant. Told me order not here, told me order again. Would have cost me more cash. Guy on phone was rude and unprofessional shocking stay clear of this place.

Ordered a Chinese tonight. One mixed meat chow main and chicken and tomato with fried rice. They sent out a vegetable chow main by mistake. When we called to inform them they got the order wrong, they asked us if it was okay to just have the food we have.... we said no as it is not what we ordered.... so they said they would send out the correct food. All sounds good to me... well....When the delivery driver came back, who I must way was a really nice guy, said he was sorry and had to change us an extra £1.30 for the order. Now when you make a mistake with an order, and it results in people eating at different times, I thought it was rude to change an extra £1.30 if I am honest. They also took the original dish back. I hope they won’t be reselling it as it looks like they will pinch every Penny along with poor service from the shop staff. Also just to add, it was a pretty bizarre looking chow main and I can safely say I will not be ordering from there again. Very disappointing all round.

WOW! Had the most amazing meal from here tonight. Ordered through Deliveroo and it arrived 15 mins earlier than expected, was piping hot and was fairly priced comparing them to other local chinese restaurants. I love a special fried rice and wantons and these were the best I've had from anywhere! I would definitely order from here again.

Took an hour longer than expected. Phoned to tell us - Government restrictions preventing collections are causing problems. Fair enough. Pretty rude though. Food arrived, portion of fried rice missing. Phoned again. Rude and unhelpful again. Offered a free fried rice next time. As if there will be one. Kung Po was terrible as well. Avoid.

Local, quick. Tasty meal....service good.

Total joke of a Chinese... ordered a take away which they got wrong (fair enough mistakes happen) called them to tell them of their mistake I got hung up on 1st time then called back the lady didn't even wait to hear my flat number before she hung up again, I then had to wait over an hour to receive the right sauce for my meals and then they expected me to pay more delivery and refused to let me speak to the manager. They won't get another penny from me

Absolute joke of a takeaway! Waited over 4 hours for my order. Went down to them & they said the driver had just left with my order so i went home and waited another 40 mins. Went back down to be told my order had been cancelled!! Certainly hadnt been on my end! So they said theyd make me fresh food in umder 15 mins so i waited! Expected me to leave without so much as my delivery money returned! Finally go to plate up my food & its the wrong order!!! Might i add when i went down after phoning 40+ times only to get a busy tone, their phone was OFF THE HOOK! clearly just ignoring their angry customers! Id understand if they had at least warned that it would take that long but the delivery time they gave me was 19:35 ... i recieved my incorrect order at 22:40!!! Absolute disgrace!!

Half my order came didn’t deliver the rest of it took my money was paid for and didn’t bring my missing items back. Poor service.

The staff are so welcoming and what can I say about the food the food is so good plus they do home deliveries have not tried to home deliveries but if it is good as the food when you sit down to eat your meal I would recommend it give It 5 Stars

Ordered food at 11pm...said half hour delivery. The guy called me several times...he got lost. Eventually at just after midnight he said to come and meet him 3 streets away from.my home to collect food. His English was very.poor and i could barely understand him.As a lone female why would i do that at that time of night. What kind of place is this? Why on earth would i do that at that time of night? I have a good mind to report this to the police. I may just do this. Who does this person think he is to do this to someone. I would never use this Place again or trust any of their drivers. Absolutely appalled to think that some vulnerable female may go and meet this driver. Avoid at all cost

Love the food from this place but they have buggered up the order too many times. When we called up to complain that the order was wrong, the guy said he would call us back but didn't. We had to call back and the lady on the other end said it would be 40 minutes to get our missing items. We asked for a full refund as that wasn't good enough. She then said she would get it delivered in 20 minutes instead of refunding. They weren't apologetic which is beyond ridiculous.

Food is amazing and delivery is fast and driver is very polite. I order mostly on a Friday and have no complaints at all. Great little Chinese takeaway. Would highly recommend 😊

Food really good at this take away just now. Not sure if it is a new chef, but their meals are very good.
