Food Spot in Tameside

rang restaurant twice to see where it was. chips were soggy, doner had a weird taste and was chewy. the best thing was the cheese garlic bread which was nice. Everything cold and soggy. will not be ordering again.

Ordered at 4:50pm and didn’t receive food until just before 7pm, over an hour late with no message to late it was going to be late, tried ringing multiple times to no answer at first, I then tried one more time to which a gentleman answered and he said my food was 2-3 minutes away but didn’t turn up for another 10 plus minutes, I said it’s ridiculous with how late it is with no message regarding it and he then decided to put the phone down on me.

All the food is cold and took 2 hours to arrive. Not happy at all. Only a small order too

delivery was 40 minutes late and was flat. looked like other deliveries were piled on it. Food was almost cold.

pulled chicken = cubed flavourless chicken absolutely coated with sauce not even on the muffin properly. All cold. rude staff. really late. I'm shocked as it's usually amazing here.

We ordered the king kebab it was beautiful very tastyand could have fed 3 of us not 2 the delivery man was very friendly and courteous I will definitely order again 10/10

not received my food yet not even in time slot that was given still waiting and it's been near 25 minutes past the time slot and still no food

zero star, but you have to click on them to submit review. lied after call being 15 mins late stating on way.. only live 9 mins from place.. 30mins after initial call, finally got an answer and challenged if food was cold would be returned. staff hung up.when it arrived turns out we were 3rd delivery and items I have been charged for are missing. Use another take away, dreadful service, have little thought for customers. Pathetic service and only mediocre food.

The chicken looked as if it had been reheated many times it was hard and smelled.The whole order was freezing cold it was just in a paper bag so not sure if it was in a heat bag to keep it warm.We won’t be ordering from here again.

We ordered on a Monday night and it took 2 hours to arrive, I phoned the restaurant after hour and half to chase up to be told it was on its way but it still took another 30 minutes and I love 10 minutes at most from the shop. when arrived the food was hot but the burger looked like it had been sat on it was that squashed together, one positive I can give is that the chip portions are good so we could have shared one had we known. Won't be ordering from here again due to delivery time.

Chicken in wrap was still frozen on the inside, desserts tastes like coffe and we're solid, old dripping from the pizza and wrap. Asked for no salad on wrap, but came with it anyway.

Originally delivery was between 8pm and 8.20pm then they changed delivery time to 8.45pm. Finally delivered at 8.56 says delivered but still not here. 21.00 and was stone cold.

wish it came a bit faster but in reality only took an hour. no complaints.

First they forgot part of the order and had to bring that back, pizza toppings were stuck to top of pizza box. when the eventually brought the missing item back the delivery driver said we'd get a refund for pizza. then when I rang to sort it was told no refund but they can resend pizza. this was 2 hours after I ordered. Will not be ordering again

Nothing wrong with the food.. but I have put a complaint in about your delivery driver who delivered to me last night. I was not happy with him, he was EXTREMELY inappropriate and I will not be ordering from you again due to what he tried to do to me after saying I was not interested in him.

was a delay in delivery but it is a Friday night so understandable.burgers were nice,donners were nice,pizzas were a little soggy and didn't taste great could of done with cooking longer and meal deal was missing a bottle of Pepsi.was told they would deliver it on their next delivery but waited and it never turned up.also I wrote and asked for sauces on burgers but these are never read so adding these are pointless

Don't go to this place!!!! Our last 2 times with this place have been below sub par, both times took over 2 hours and today we ordered a 4 cheese pizza and got the completely wrong pizza. I waited for my girlfriends correct pizza to come and everything had to be microwaved. The guy on the phone was no help at all, sounded like he just couldn't care less. Avoid this place and save your money. Don't waste your time If I could give 0 stars I would

Staff very rude over the phone. Did not deliver on time and did not. The way I was spoken to over the phone what disgusting and my pizza was stuck to the top of the box also

Missing items, not in a rush to sort out

Ordered Shami kebab and Seekh kebabs were delivered. However all of the food was delicious. Fresh and tasty. Would recommend.

Arrived on time but food was very average. Not bad, but not good either, food needing heating up when it arrived. Small salad portions and meat in kebab was poor quality.

kebabs tasted lovely however, there was not much chicken on them. we also ordered a tex mex salad but there was nothing tex mex about it. it seemed like they didn't have the stuff in to make it so just made it out of what they had. soggy poppadoms instead of nachos and what seemed like a ceasar sauce instead of tex mex and no feta cheese. bit disappointing, if you've not got it in take it off the menu.

ordered at 4.35 pm arrived 6.30 pm, rang to ask where it was got told it's on route but we are way out of the way (11 mins down a straight road) food was warm at best, large kebab fits in a standard burger box with room to spare 🤯 shocking, food crushed ,not great service 1/10

Worst curry I’ve had in a long time, we’ve left all 3 as they were inedible. The madras had a very strange taste and the masala was not sweet at all. Lamb and chicken were chewy

***UPDATED REVIEW***. I was a bit reluctant to re-order from here due to my past experience but I fancied a kebab and they were one of the few remaining places still open. WHF has happened since my last visit.. I ordered the mixed kebab and I am stunned at the difference since my last order.. the kebab was delicious! The doner was full of flavour and the chicken and shish simply melted in my mouth. The chicken seek wasn’t large but it was delicious. Even the chips were way above the usual quality from most takeaways.. I’ve never a fan of store bought sauces but the chilli sauce on the kebab had a good flavour to it and had the right amount of kick. Overall, I feel a bit embarrassed with the last score I gave them but the improvement has been massive :—)…see my last review below: I was passing this takeaway when hungry and noticed it wasn’t busy so thought I’d pull into the lay-by outside and pick up some food. I usually get my kebabs from Canadian Charcoal Pit in Stalybridge but just fancied trying something different. I ordered a doner kebab on naan and for £7.50 I was expecting a decent doner kebab for the price. The doner meat was cut quite thick but as soon as I started eating it I could tell it wasn’t an expensive cut of meat as the quality just wasn’t there. The sauces used are what I call ‘lazy sauces’ in that they are bottled cheap tasting chilli and/or yoghurt mint sauce that make the meat go cold. I much prefer a hot homemade chilli sauce and for £7.50 I expected better quality sauces. The naan bread was flavourless and just bland so overall my experience wasn’t great and in terms of money, what I paid for was not good value at all. I’ve given this place a 2* rating as the food was serviceable but not great in quality!

Just received a takeaway the price come to £29 ish for a pepperoni pizza and chicken tikka masala what tasted like a microwave meal from Iceland it was really poor and the chicken pakoras was disgusting really disappointed never again will I order this muck again 🤮

Got a delivery for 2020 on 02/06/24 and finally turned up at 2050, 30 minute's late Stone cold, questioning the driver why so late he said take it up with the restaurant, spoken to the resteraunt they came up with yeah busy than expected, I don't mind that but why should my food turn up stone cold plus discount next time I order. I don't think so I'll stick to spice world dukenfield next time

Highly recommend the samosas. Actually delicious. We ordered a donner and chicken kebab on naan with mild sauce and salad. And A keema kebab on naan with salad and medium sauce. We added into the request field that plenty of salad should go on the donner. What we got was almost no sauce and very little salad. But there was tonnes of meat. It's just not what was asked for and was all but inedible as it was so dry. Then the keema kebab. Time was you could feed the 5000 with one of those from foodspot. But what they sent, especially at the £8 it cost was an utter joke. It's a good job I filled up on samosas because that kebab was pathetic. The food only took 40 minutes to arrive but was lukewarm at best. Normally I'd speak to a place before posting a review but this kebab was so pathetic that it's excuseless how it left the door like that. Very expensive for very little. But the samosas. Oh my God the samosas are divine.

Ordered a kabab at 23.30 still not received at 01.20 and nothing from the shop. Not answer no tracking. If I had known the order wasn’t coming I could have ordered from somewhere worse whist they were open. Very hungry

I order shakes from here occasionally but I had an issue with my order last week and I complained to the worker ‘Ali’. He was really apologetic and sent out a new order for me which was perfect as compensation! Thank you for the prompt service and fast delivery. I will be ordering from you again 👍

I'm sad because we usually never have a problem but my kids food came on time but mine and my husbands didn't so I called and they apologised we waited another 40 minutes for ours but it also had no salad no sauce 😔 il chalk it up to them being really busy or something. can't fault the service they were really apologetic you don't get that with many. it still tasted good

Their burgers were the best around but these were chewy and full of gristle, we both threw ours away they were terrible.

Have been a customer for some time but it has been getting worse and worse. Kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, but after our last order, never again. Sorry guys but the food is always cold, like fridge cold, tasteless and seems like it has been re-cooked either 2 or 3 times. Peshwari should not be a plain, stale, nan covered in syrup!

My food never came in the end....although its been paid for, waste of £25 they've taken the money and said they've delivered it. They've closed the shop and there's no answer on the phone!

Missing chips but otherwise alright

I don’t normally leave negative reviews but tonight was just the worst. I usually order multiple times a week, but tonight’s service was awful. Mega late. The guy on the phone was dismissive. And food arrived food. It’ll likely take me a while to reorder from this place sadly.

Ordered food 7:30. Rang at 8:30 and said driver was on way. 9:30 now and it’s still not here. The guy on phone was nice. Think they just need a better delivery driver or more delivery drivers. And food would have been nice if it wasn’t freezing cold.

Unless you are happy accepting the worst quality produce, service and value, avoid this place. The food is nothing short of diabolical and all of us ended up sick from it. I would never usually review a takeaway but this was so bad I felt obligated to warn others. Avoid like the plague

Food is good, but the delivery time is awful!! Two and a half hours!!! The shop was no help to where the driver was with our food too.
