Food of Peking in Enfield

He estado pidiendo a Khin Lee en Palmers Green High Street y pedí una cena temprana de Food of Peking ya que Khin Lee no estaba abierto anoche (sábado 14 de diciembre). Pedido crujiente de chile, arroz frito con huevo y pollo satay. Me vi obligado a publicar esta revisión ya que dentro de las 4 horas de comer experimentó sudores fríos, diarrea y vómitos. Lamentablemente no volveré y no recomendaría.

This has been mine and my families local chinese for years and it never disappoints. Really good food and great value for money . Hung ming duck and vermicelli singapore noodles are 10/10!! Definitely give this place a try.

I ordered food there yesterday. Chicken had a peculiar taste, was ruberry and un-fresh. Special fried rice tasted off. Food was probably lying around for days. Disappointed because I was absolutely starving until I tasted it and had the spit it out Definitely not the best takeaway in Palmers Green.

I have been a regular customer for over 30 years and it has never failed to provide tasty and generously sized portions of food from a wide selection of tasty dishes. Penny is amazing and attentive but the kitchen is very efficient even when she is not there. When you have that niggling feeling for Chinese, you cannot find a better takeaway in North London or Enfield.

Placed an order at 17.30 for collection at 19.30. Arrived at the restaurant to find approx 20 people waiting for their food. Some had been waiting over an hour after their collection time. Even though it was obvious the staff were not coping they were still taking orders. An hour late my food was ready. The satay chicken was very dry, beef was inedible it was so chewey. Prawn toast very oily. I would avoid this place!

Ordered twice in a week from Food of Peking whilst visiting Palmers Green. Food was delicious and good value. First visit we ordered special fried rice, special chow mein and singapore vermicelli. Second visit we order 2x singapore vermicelli (one spicy and one mild), chow mein and sweet and sour chicken hong kong style. All dishes were very nice and the dry fried noodles and rice all had proper 'wok hei' hot wok taste/aromer. Recommended.

Long story short.. I was waiting for the delivery over 1 and half hour (I live 5 mins walk from the restaurant). They brought the food just before their closing time. When I just mentioned to the delivery guy about the waiting time he rapidly took the money that I still held in my hand to pay and turned around to his car. No apology, nothing.. I would never order again.

My family have been ordering food from Food of Peking for 30years and it is the best Chinese food we’ve ever eaten. The food is delicious and non-greasy, the prices are reasonable and the delivery is always on time, amazing service.

Ordered a take away for the family...couldn't eat most of the food it was so oily especially the noodles they were dropping with oil. Most dishes were tasteless and the chicken dishes were either chewy or uncooked! Even the prawn crackers were stale...safe to say will not be using his place again!

Ordered a takeaway on a whim. Completely happy with everything: good portion sizes, food was good and tasty and the delivery was within the time frame stated. Would happily order from here again.

Absolute jokers Ordered a number 80 with instructions to remove meat, also a sweet and sour chicken balls option plus two other items. They got these items wrong. All the meat is left in the number 80 and they provide a barbecue sauce as opposed to the sweet and sour. When I call they apologise as the lady taking the order did not hear the take the meat out, then when i raise the barbecue sauce issue they say at least we got 50% of the order right. Sorry but 50% right is not a % I want to hear when it comes to getting my order correct. If I could give 0 stars I would. Will never be spending a penny in there again, jokers

We ordered a takeaway and the food came quite quickly. The vegetable curry was inedible. Definitely frozen then microwaved. After serving the chicken chow mein, we found a hair at the bottom of the container!! We stopped eating and threw it away. In fairness the duck was nice and so was the shredded chilli beef but I won't be ordering from there again!!

Use Food of Peking quite often. Very decent food, always hot by the time i get home, reasonably priced and always speedy service

Best chinese takeaway we've had - I particularly recommend the squid with salt and chilli and the tofu with salt and chilli.

I had 2 meals from here during my recent stay at Palmers Green. One alone and the 2nd with family.I felt it was a shame that they were not on Tripadvisor as their food was really good. I ordered won tong soup, chicken and sweet corn soup, special fried rice, beef in black bean sauce. On the 2nd occasion, we also ordered prawn fried rice and a chicken sauce. Their food was always delivered to time, hot, fresh and very tasty. Food for 3 cost us £30 and we had lots of left over. I strongly recommend them to visitors to Palmers Green
