This used to be one of the best takeaways with a great kebab. Now they’ve raised prices significantly and started using cheaper, lower quality meat such as chicken thigh (which also doesn’t taste right at all) instead of breast. Shame!

Wait for ages then no Nan bread food cold by the time it turned up very apologies but that’s not the point and not the first time

Debajo de carne cocida, sin ensalada con kebab, cuando le pedí un par de vasos para acompañar la botella de refresco, regresó con dos pequeñas ollas para mojar salsa, dijo que era todo lo que tenían, se rió y se fue. Le pregunté dónde estaba la ensalada que suele obtener con un kebab, su respuesta fue que nunca me pidió nada, le dije que le acabo de pagar 22 por esta comida terrible, no puede equivocarse con la ensalada, así que me gustaría, por favor. , parece que también puedes equivocarte mucho con la ensalada. I know its cliche to say best kebab in Salford etc but what makes a kebab great is consistency, never had a bad kebab from food fair always 10/10 so thank you.

The shish kebab was more like a steak texture which I was not used to, previously acquainted with the softer variant. On time tho and what not. Try the burgers maybe

The Calzone's from Foodfair - are exceptional. The side orders (Chips etc) are what they say on the tin.

The food I got was rock hard and food was delivered before it said it would come by an hour.

Ordered two pizzas one chips.no chips turned up.had to phone.chips turned up an hour later cold.

Not tasted the food yet, I fell asleep before it arrived, looked great though when I opened the front door to find it at 4am though.

Food is lovely but the man on the phone was rude when we were asking for an update on our late delivery, and the delivery driver left our food on the cold wet floor outside our apartmnet building instead of coming to our door. I understand the contactless delivery is in place, but considering it was already late, the least he could do was leave it in the building or even better, outside our actual door. Would reccomend the food, could improve on service.

I ordered a 2 piece chicken and chip meal. I opened the box and could not believe my eyes. My "chicken" was the size of a sparrows leg and the thigh was as big as a 50p coin and I recieved a handful of dry chips. Rang the restaurant to complain and was told to contact just eat. Did not get offered a refund or new food to be sent. Dishusting food and dishusting customer service.

Food was freezing and couldn’t be eaten was thrown in bin and was late I’d like a refund please

First time ordering from Food Fair and I was very impressed. The burger and fries combo was delicious and the portion size was generous, not only that, but the delivery arrived much earlier than expected and piping hot. Fab!

Ordered burger with cheese and without an 2 came with cheese so I couldn't eat it. Tried to ring them an the resurauny had closed so couldn't talk to anyone or reorder

Portions are huge and really delicious, food was hot on delivery also well recommended.

Food was late and very cold. Ordered 2 kebabs and chips with salad, one kebab came with no salad, kebab meat and chips in another box and salad in another. Cheesy garlic bread was hard as bricks, even the dog didn’t want it. Awful service when I rang asking about food and then awful service when telling them everything’s cold also, told to ring back in 10 mins when there not busy.

Although it was an hour late it is understandable given the circumstances we are currently in. Still cannot fault the food it was 5 stars as always and fresh.

Always enjoy the burgers. Sadly this time I asked for salad and only got onions on it. But also asked for lettuce and cucumber.

Food was wroten, I phoned and thay just said thay were closing and couldn't do anything, it went straight in the bin, I was so annoyed, purely ripped me off.

Not going to complain the food was late. These guys are doing a great job and are really busy and the delivery driver did shout over an apology. But the pizza was cold and weirdly had a cinnamon taste. Maybe to someone’s taste but not mine. Suggest they give a more realistic delivery time to manage expectations.

Delivery late it was past the estimated time of delivery before the status even said 'on the way'. And even then it mustn't of been 'on the way' when it did change, as is was another 20 mins and I'm only down the road. Always order the same pizza as it's my favourite but didn't taste the same. Also Usually always get free onion rings with what I spend, but nothing this time which was disappointing especially with the wait aswell.

Delivery guy was really pleasant and respectful of the social distancing measures. Really appreciated that. Food was exactly as requested and I think the prices are really good value for money. Always order from these guys when I'm feeling like a bit of fast food.

Ordered a cheesecake and a pizza but for some reason when I comfirmed the order and paid only the cheesecake went through and no pizza.immedatly reorder my pizza thinking they would seen it was a mistake and only charge my one delivery. I was charged 2 delivery prices even though it was same driver. Pizza was horrible cold and grase dripping when I lifted it the cardboard box stuck to the pizza. Pizza was dripping with grease disappoint as normally love thusnplace

Anoche pedí comida para llevar, doner calzone y pollo y papas fritas. Mi compañero se lo comió y hoy no ha estado bien en absoluto. Llamé a la comida para llevar para avisarles en caso de que alguien más lo ordene hoy y tal vez necesiten investigarlo, sin embargo, el hombre con el que hablé sobre la comida ignoró por completo lo que dije y dijo 'debe haber sido otra cosa definitivamente no fuimos nosotros, él debe tener un error, adiós. ’ No es un enfoque muy profesional por parte de una empresa y no se preocupa en absoluto por sus clientes. Nunca ordenará de esta comida para llevar de nuevo.

Arrive on the dot. Luke warm. I live 2 minutes round the corner ended up taking it back to the restaurant who took my order and refused a refund. Having to now call just eat to get my money bsck

Delivered 45 mins after text was sent to say it's on its way. Thats fine if food turns up warm. But turned up cold. Delivery driver failed to acknowledge this and scurried away. Cold food is unacceptable so wont be using this place again.

Ordered a mixed shawarma and 6 chicken wings. The chicken wings were very good but the mixed shawarma was very dry, the meat was over cooked.Unable to eat it.Very dissapointed.

The chicken wings were old and reheated, they smelled really bad. The chicken burger wasn’t a chicken filet, just a frozen store-bought big chicken nugget that tasted bland with left over salad. I am disappointed as I’ve ordered from here before and it was good. Not ordering again.

The food came and was half cold

Food poor quality, not the usual good standard. Garlic bread dry and burnt. Shwarma kebab dripping in sauce. Meat dry. Salad poor and wilted. Donner kebab dry and and rubbery. All food was luke warm.

Really nice pizza as usual. A short delay on delivery, but we were made aware of this soon after ordering and kept up to date with where our food was.

Whoever printed off the ticket for the delivery driver printed the wrong number and screwed the driver over. He was waiting 10 minutes before the takeaway rang me on the correct number! Food was cold as a result and I felt sorry for that driver.

Both kebabs ordered went in the bin. Can honestly say it was the worst kebab I have ever had. Some of the donner meat was like jerky it was that chewy. Will never order from again.

I didn't get what I thought I ordered, but that's because the menu wasn't clear and I thought '3 pieces of chicken' meant boneless strips and not a third of a chicken deep fried with bone in it.

Food was terrible the chicken stunk of a horrid vile smell I can’t even compare to anything because I’ve never smelled anything like it Just overall the worst place I’ve ate at Plus they forgot my drinks and the delivery driver just shrugged his shoulders so I had to demand my £2 back

Delivery arrived a good 45 minutes early & because I was still at work the kids sent it back, I rang them direct & explained the situation, the delivery then arrived bang on time, all made fresh along with the original delivery so even the dogs ate well that night! Everyone makes mistakes but not everyone puts it right, thank you Food Fair!

I love Food Fair being going for years and years. Since 95 Always pricey but food was good and portions a plenty. Unfortunately I think it is the end of an era! Sad but much like a lot of Swinton takeaways they are bought for the name to sell sh*te for a a higher price. Chicken is small portioned and greasy! Pizza is stodgy and not tasty. Kebabs are like the worst in the world!!!!! Salford food hygiene 5! Yes in a tester year!!!! If anyone can find the chilli sauce the used to do elsewhere please advertise as the current one is pish! Shame

Food was over 2 & a half hours late. It was stone cold when it arrived. Will be contacting just eat customer service to get our money back as not paying for such disgusting food

The food was obviously reheats and very greasy. The salad was massive packed out and soggy from being in the box a long time or if put in the box when order was first placed it had oviously been left out all day/night. Ended up throwing it away .

Second kebab in a row delivered wrong! Both times sent Donner with chilli sauce - I wouldn’t mind but I hate chilli sauce!! first time ordered the special kebab which we called and they changed and this time ordered a Schwarma with garlic mayo! Can’t be bothered to wait again. Disappointing.

Food arrived fast, everything was lovely apart from the chicken wings.. tasted old, dry, stale and like they’d just been re-heated in a microwave...

Well I have never taken the time to write a review before but my oh my the kebab was amazing and I’d go as far as saying best I’ve had yet and I’ve had plenty so much food really good quality absolutely delicious

Food arrived 2 and a half hours after ordering it my wife rang twice and both times they said it will be a few minutes food was nice but the service is disappointing never going to get from there again

Still waiting on an order placed at 17.50 what a joke, asked for money back and told I couldn’t cancel the order as it was being prepared, over 2 hours ago!!! Seriously! it’s. Horrific quality it’s like the garlic mayo had coagulated on the kebab. Tasteless cheese on the fries. A massive tub of onions and greasy garlic bread. Not happy. Will not be ordering or recommending.

Made an order with just eat for food fair took over an hour to arrive after texting them and two further phone calls it arrived over cooked or reheated I don’t know garlic bread was hard and brittle ,other half’s pizza was over cooked and looked a bit burnt mine looked ok ,never shopping with these shops again or useing just eat wasted my money

Had to call the restaurant to find out where my order was. Restaurant had no answer just said it's on it way!
