Fab bacon sandwich on sourdough and gorgeous carrot cake & coffee. We'll definitely be back! Everything looked scrummy. They deserve to do well and it was good to see a steady stream of happy customers emerging with their tasty treats. Open Wed-Sunday - pop down and spoil yourself!

Why is this cafe only open 3 days a week ? We went there today (June 16) on the hottest day of the year when they would have done great business, only to find it shut !

The cafe has a new concession operating the park’s cafe and what an improvement. The coffee, the bacon sandwiches, the toasted focaccia sandwiches and the cakes are all top notch. The only downside - unfortunately it is only open at the weekends and the cakes sell out quickly!

3 Newton StreetDon't go here if you have allergies. I am celiac and asked the staff several times if the flafels had wheat. They assured me it didn't. I had gotten pain in my stomach, so I went in the next day and asked what was in it. I got the ingredients box shoved in my face. The powder they put in has wheat starch. Rather than apologising to me, they were condescending and kept saying that I ate it yesterday.
