I would give 10 stars if it was possible. The service was impeccable, food was excellent fresh and full of flavour. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again

Lovely pizzas will definitely return. Would have given 5 stars but had to wait half hour for the meals. Was worth it though.

We had dinner here on Saturday night and would definitely return. The restaurant has a nice buzz to it and the staff are friendly and quick. We shared a garlic pizza bread to start which was very tasty. I finished with the spicy risotto which was a plentiful portion. The cost was great for the portion size. If we’re ever in the area again we’d eat here again

The food was amazing, I’d heard mixed things so i wasn’t expecting the quality i received. I got the carbonara with extra chicken and it was delicious, the staff couldn’t do enough and were really attentive. I will definitely be going back

Myself and my son had bbq pizza. I have never seen a pizza like this before! It literally had a tiny amount of cheese, some random pieces of chicken and was drowning in bbq sauce. The edges were burnt and we felt massively underwhelmed by the experience. Average at best, and not cheap so not worth the money. It was quite busy, but didn't mind waiting at all. We are in Yorkshire for the weekend and this meal was really disappointing. Would not return.

This was a very busy Friday evening, so although we had booked a table for 2 we had to wait 20 minutes (most of the tables were for larger groups, so it might have been quicker had we been a group of 4). The food was excellent: my partner had very good lobster ravioli and I had the best seafood linguine I can remember. This was accompanied by a bottle of Primitivo, which was pricy but very pleasant. The ambience was busy and interesting, with pizza-making on show in the open kitchen. Despite the restaurant being very busy, the staff were polite and efficient. An excellent dinner!

Walked in without a booking on a Sunday evening in February, to find this place very busy and everyone (customers and staff alike) all looking like they were having a great time. Despite the busyness, the friendly staff found a table for me, my wife and our 11 year old son after only a short wait. All our food was really tasty, obviously freshly cooked and always served with a smile. And the prices were very good too. Very family friendly. I don’t give 5/5 stars easily, but the staff, the service, the atmosphere and the food here very much deserve it!

What a place ! Only walked in for a couple of take away pizza’s. True Italian chaos in a positive way, great atmosphere and lovely staff. Wine (while we’e waiting) and pizza’s absolutely great, but what topped it all was the ragu that came with the calzone pizza. Could we please have the recipe 😜

Firstly this review is 100% genuine.I have dined here at this lively restaurant that had a good vibe.My pizza was a calazone ....sorry but its not ghe best I've ever had.It looks large but it's only filled about 33% bit naughty really....and it was with broccoli which was soggy.The sauce into wasn't very good either.This could and should be better...all seems a bit rushed.

Very disappointed! Came here for a family meal and have left very upset about the whole experience. Had a table booked for 5:15, didn’t receive any food until roughly 6 but the time that we got menus and got a quick look through them (not a problem but they said they needed the table back for 7 so this created a rush from the start) The food was average but the service and atmosphere was horrendous. We were being watched over for the whole meal and plates were being cleared while some of us were still eating. One of our family members asked for a drink with the puddings and we were rudely told that they needed the table back. For a meal that costed over £300 it was very disappointing. Will not be going back.

Went here for a family birthday meal, we were booked in for 5.15 pm and was informed that the table was needed back for 7. When we arrived we were sat a good 15 minutes before a drinks order was taken and another 20 minutes before a food menu was brought as there wasn't enough menus to go around... fair do's as they were busy. we were made to feel very rushed with staff members checking over the table and clearing plates away before everyone had finished their meals, this happened with starters and main courses, we ordered puddings and a comment was made that we should have been gone by 7.15 bear in mind we hadn't received any food till around 5.50pm, a bill of over £300 and managed to make the entire family feel so uncomfortable and awkward when all we wanted was a nice family meal, won't be going back .

Typical Italian restaurant, noisy, good humoured and excellent food and service.

Good was really burned, when we complained all we got was an apology, we still had to pay full price even though we couldn’t eat some of it.

Good service, awful food. Tiny prawns, chorizo like dogmeat, billy bear ham in the pizza.

As you can see from the photos, I was very shocked to receive this when I asked for a bbq pizza. I can truly say I’ve never been served full chunks of chicken on a pizza before, especially chewy gristly meat. We had a “cheese garlic bread” for starters but unfortunately no cheese was present and was loaded with oil to the point it was dripping off the pizza into puddles on the plate (no photo unfortunately). The cannelloni was again loaded with oil and was literal mush. All in all, great service but terrible food.

Absolutely beautiful food! Top notch service. Would highly recommend. Wish I lived more local. I'd be a regular! Great value too.

We had a great meal in here, would definitely recommend. As tables empty and are cleaned down, more people come in and fill the empty places up.

Fantastic food and service. Our first time and we were delighted. The antipasti prawn cocktail was the best I've ever had.

Food was fine, but just fine. Service was okay but it took way too long to get the bill and then pay. It was very busy, which is great for atmosphere but just too loud to be a le to hear each other. Probably unlikely to return.

Absolutely amazing food and service. Highly recommend. The best Italian we have had. We had the spaghetti with meatballs and a pizza (I cant remember the name) it had king prawns on. Myself and my fiance shared the two dishes and they were both out of this world. A extra bonus also was watching the chef making the pizzas. We travelled just over an hour for a night away bit will definitely return just for the restaurant.

A very friendly atmosphere. Made welcome as soon as you enter. The food was amazing. It was just a chance to eat out. It turned into a great family occasion. Very busy. But you were not left waiting. The staff were polite and helpful, very quick and attentive.

My partner and I had a take away from here and the standard was brilliant. My partner had her usual garlic pizza and I had the florios linguine. Lorraine loves the garlic pizza from here and it didn’t disappoint. Now to the linguine, what can I say except delicious and the amount of seafood was amazing and all cooked to perfection. Last minute booking as not many places open in Malton on a Sunday evening. Staff were friendly and wine was good, but the rest was distinctly average. BBQ sauce for the chicken extremely watered down, tomato sauce with meatball and on pizza was very bland. Pizza bases were ok, nothing special and the topics didn’t taste the best quality. Very reasonably priced but very average.

Exceptional, food, value and service ticked every box. We had pizza which was very thin crust and perfect. Worth a trip. Make sure you book.

Nice meal with a friend. Restaurant busy on a Saturday evening but staff were able to fit us in. We both had nice pasta dishes with garlic bread and wine. Reasonably priced, tasty and served in good time. Staff friendly and helpful.

I first went to Floria’s back in the 80’s when there was nowhere like it and I’m glad to report that the pizzas are still as good as ever.. unfortunately as is often the case single diners are given poor seats . But that aside the pizza was delicious.

Whatever you do, make sure you leave room for the chocolate soufflé, you won't regret it!

It was my birthday, and it didn't disappoint, We had seafood pasta, which was beautiful, also wild boar ravioli, which tasted lovely but didn't fill my husband. Garlic bread was lovely, and tiramasu was gorgeous. The staff were friendly and helpful and even made us limoncello spritzers when we asked. It was so lovely that three nights later, we are returning for takeout pizza x

Good and substantial amount of food. Ordered a Diavola pizza and barbeque chicken starter. It seemed very popular for a Monday, really busy. Ideally we should have booked and so had to wait about 45 minutes.

I'd booked for an early (for me) meal, at 6pm, as it Google said it would reasobably quiet (busy time is 7-8pm). However, the restaurant was at least 3/4 full, mainly with families.it was a loud but relaxed atmosphere, and there were plenty of staff on. I ordered the garlic bruschetta and penne arrabbiata, together, and a glass of pinot blush (they'd run out of my preferred choice of chardonnay). It arrived within 5 - 10 minutes, and was utterly delicious. The pasta was al dente and the portion was certainly substantial. If I was going to be super critical, I'd prefer my arrabbiata to be spicier but, spice aside, it was very tasty. The bruschetta was much larger than I was expecting, and was certainly garlicky! I was too full after that for any dessert! The whole meal was excellent value, being a smidge over £20 for the lot. Next time I'm in Malton, I'll certainly come back here! Highly recommended.

Good service and reasonable pizza but we chose the wrong time to arrive. 6pm Friday. It was a bit noisy with singles parties. The kids party was absolutely no trouble but the young adults were a bit loud. Our bad timing, our fault!!

Con artists and theives for the quality that we were given that night. I’ve been to the one in Scarborough several times, I had a regular table at one point over the years and always throughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately this falls drastically short to say the least. Rather annoying as it was for a milestone birthday. Service wasn’t great, my partners vegetarian lasagna was way over cooked and the pasta had gone to mush. I ordered calzone, the sauce in the top was acidic, it needed sugar and seasoning, the top was also burnt. There was an actual puddle of water on my plate after I cut into it. When approaching staff they said the pasta may of been like it because it’s layered and it was unavoidable; the calzone they admitted shouldn’t be full of water but that was unavoidable because its folded… To top it all off they don’t just leave the quality ingredients from the food they don’t put them in the drinks either. I’d ordered and had to pay for a disarano and coke and all that came was a coke! They kept saying that it had disarano in but we were sat by the bar and I watched them make both our drinks with a distinct lack of disarano.

A little bit disappointed as the service and starters were both good but unfortunately wasn’t impressed with the mains of tagliatelle al salmone which was a bit bland and tasteless for us! Having said that we would come back and try something else from the menu. Busy for a Sunday evening.

Tried this restaurant as reviews were good. It was the worst lasagne I ever had. Layers of mushy pasta with mince on top and a sprinkle of cheese. No flavour just tasteless mush. Not sure what the yellow liquid was. One of the chefs was constantly eating with his hands and helping himself to the containers that were meant for pizza toppings. Won't be back

We thoroughly enjoyed our food here. Portion sizes were huge! And really reasonably priced. My only slight criticism is that our food arrived staggered, 1 meal arrived and a few minutes later 2 more arrived. Our toddlers meal arrived 5 mins if not later than the rest of the food which made it difficult to start until they were all sorted with their food too. Wouldn’t stop us going back again if we were in the area though.

We rang at around 5.15pm on the off chance and we got a reservation for 7pm. We thought they must be quiet. Oh my, the place was buzzing, the most wonderful atmosphere of people having fun, drinking wine and eating. Just brilliant. The food was just amazing, fresh pasta. Crisp salads, it was all Devine. Next time I will book way in advance so as not to miss out. As for tha staff, the service, top notch. Completely on the ball, just perfect. Thank you all.

One of the best restaurants in malton, the staff are super friendly, the atmosphere is always great and the food never disappoints. 10/10 highly recommend well done to the owners for bringing some authentic Italian to malton.

I ordered Amberatti and a florios pizza the food was a delight the staff so friendly and the cost very reasonable. Recommend this restaurant for anybody. Noticed that children were well catered for.

We had dinner here last night (Feb 16th) and we all really enjoyed our meals. All 3 of us had pizza and they were all delicious- proper, handmade, crispy and piping hot. Service was efficient and friendly. It was very busy, which I'm glad about as they deserve the business. It's lovely to support a family run, independent, small business and we will definitely return next time we're up. Highly recommended

Lots of choice on the menu with a couple of specials. We had a mixture of pizza and pasta dishes, all of which were high quality. Service was quick and attentive but not in your face. A great little restaurant, really good value.

Firstly you need to book as this restaurant is very busy which is not surprising as the food is wonderful. Lobster ravioli and sbirraglia were fabulous, but the pizzas looked fantastic, and you need to bring a very large appetite for the calzone. Lovely staff, rapid service, great menu choices. It's just a great place to eat in Malton.

31 of December a very busy night for any restaurant. But wow did this restaurant surpassed its self fantastic service the food was amazing some of our party only wanted small mains this was not a problem. Unlike some restaurant you go to . If your in malton or just passing stop and eat here

Florios has an excellent menu catering for all tastes. The restaurant owner and staff have a great knowledge of dietary problems and provide supportive advice to their customers. Florios has become one of our favourite restaurants but be aware it is very popular and you are well advised to reserve your table to avoid disappointment. Merry Christmas to you all!

Called here with family, usual Italian fare, portions are huge, the lasagne was a bit claggy but family memkbers reported there pizzas excellent. The Minestrone soup was different and came in a bowl like we keep fruit in at home

Florio's has been amazing for years and did not disappoint. Great food and lively atmosphere. The biggest problem is how difficult it is to get a booking due to how busy they are!

Always a family favourite, Florios consistently delivers every time we visit. This week was once again a delicious experience. The ambience, efficiency, knowledge, variety and extra effort made to ensure our dining experience was a masterclass and all for a very reasonable cost. The extensive Gluten free options and options offered to consider allergies are consistently improving. Florios obviously listen to their customers and communicate well within their team. This is a wonderful casual atmospheric destination and must not be missed when visiting Malton.. The food capital of Yorkshire starts here! We will be back soon.

We visited as a walk in on a Tuesday evening in October, the restaurant was pretty much full, however they were able to accommodate us (family of 4). Friendly and efficient service. Food was very good - everything was made freshly, you could see straight into the kitchen. Pizza were especially good, traditional thin crispy base, decent amount of toppings and not at all greasy. We also had mushroom risotto which was plentiful and satisfying…and a filled ravioli from the specials board which was made from really nice saffron pasta with a sage butter sauce (I could have eaten double what was served). A good alternative option to the more traditional Yorkshire fayre when in Malton

Well established and very popular restaurant. Service was quick and friendly. Menu contains all the Italian favourites - we chose pasta which was good and well priced.
