Great environment- comfortable and contemporary - friendly and helpful staff. We had snacks, which were very good, and a couple of drinks - nicely served. We will definitely be back. Much the best option in the area.

Ok but not as good as it was . When we arrived we were seated in the pergola and were immediately blinded by the sun shining through the window which wasn’t very pleasant. Maybe some blinds are needed . This has happened before when we’ve visited so must be regular occurrence for customers. A bit later we were blasted by hot air from the ceiling heaters which I didn’t like and has also happened before . We have been going to Flamingo for several years and have always loved it but the menu has changed and not for the better . We particularly loved the honey and chipotle chicken tenders and Cajun fries . These items have now both been changed . The chicken is now in a tiny bowl half the size. It previously came with a slice of lime to add if required. Yesterday I noticed the sauce on the chicken tasted really strongly of lime so had already been added but tasted too much of lime for our liking . The fries now come in tiny metal buckets and are about half the size they were ! My Cajun chicken tacos were nice but I didn’t need a sheet of paper under the tacos getting all soggy when I’m trying to eat it ! My daughter liked her Eton mess but I thought it looked very basic considering what you charge . My other daughter said her chicken burger was very small and much smaller than the bun . I’m sure all these changes are to cut costs but they probably just put people off coming . It’s a real shame !

What a lovely place , recommend by a colleague at work , great staff . And what a lovely toilet . You had David Attenborough, talking about Flamingos 🦩 in the toilet . Good food and delicious latte .

Went for breaky, had avocado and eggs on toast, what a sad dish that was! Thin piece of bread, scrapes of browning avocado.. nope! This was a 3/10 breakfast! My friend got her food when we had almost finished ours too which sucked. Such a shame as a cool looking place

Took a random walk to Boscombe and spotted this lovely place on the path I was exploring. Had not eaten anything to start my day and the late breakfast here I had just hit the spot. No pics as I was so famished but the presentation was lovely. Avo on sourdough and the coffee was really nice, rich and creamy. Am really fussy on coffee as most of the time I get hit with bitter tastes - but this was really good. Service was lovely, polite and friendly. If I was a local, I would be here a lot!

Have eaten here a few times before, so knew what to expect. Visited here recently with family for an early Friday evening. It was a cold January, but they had kept it nice & warm making for a nice ambiance. Due to weather, it was fairly quiet. We understand that you are encouraged to order from app at Flamingo (which was good during covid) we however prefer to order in person & despite trying to attract 3 staff members attention,we ended up going to the service hatch, where staff were chatting together, to ask “could we order in the old fashioned way” Food was good. We’d ordered a few picky bits to start with & main courses of 2 x Caesar Salads, Burger & Fries together with a plant based burger & fries were all good. We had the same problem when it came to us trying to pay the bill, with one of us having to get up from the table to ask for bill. It didn’t feel that the restaurant was short staffed, so don’t understand the lack of interest with seeing the tables. Call me old fashioned, but I really don’t want to order or pay by app. Part of the experience when eating out is an interaction with your server. I also don’t feel service charge/tip is appropriate if your experience is all by app 🤔

Lovely cafe/restaurant, where I've been to twice previously for brunch, but this was my first visit for dinner. I had the Wagyu burger, and it was so amazingly tasty I'm still dreaming about it two days later! Also, a separate gluten free menu is available, for those who require it. The atmosphere could have been better (we were sat next to where the staff hang out and chat), but the rest of the restaurant looked like it would have been much more of a chilled place to sit. Staff were friendly and attentive, and we'll definitely be back again (but will ask for a different seat).

We went for breakfast, we hadn't booked but they managed to pop us in, it wasn't all that busy really. You are treated with the option of free water, still or sparkling, which was. lovely touch. We have to order on the app, or go to the counter, a great app for many of the items as you can add/take off and customise the items, but you don't get that chance on the breakfast bap, so I ended up going up to order. The food came swiftly and tasted good. The breakfast baps were good, the full English was even better than the one at the Urban and the Turkish eggs went down a treat. We enjoyed it so much that we booked for the following day, we were not disappointed on our return either. Would recommend if you are in the area,

Extremely disappointed. Went on a Sunday early afternoon and it wasn’t very busy at all. Our food took over an hour to come and when I asked the staff how long it would be they told me it was being plated up. Never know it take 20 minutes to plate up. Most of the staff were friendly but one staff member was passive aggressive and very condescending. I have a nut allergy and my food came with a pesto drizzle containing pine nuts but I was told and the menu said it didn’t contain nuts. Extremely bad experience.

The ambience is good . However cocktails were not good , extremely sweetFood is average especially with pasta, Tacos are good. We expected much better food and drinks

This looked like a very nice place to have brunch with my daughter, beautiful surroundings, lovely staff, good quality food and drinks, more expensive than other places, but worth the experience and another happy memory to bank 🙂

Have been here over 10 times now, always pretty good. A few times food has come a little on the cold side, cocktails are yummy, beer cold, beef taco is my go to. Nachos cld have more topping as left with just a big bowl of nachos and it is a little on the pricey side. Service ok. Could be a little friendlier x

Lovely place for dinner with friends or family. We were sat at the beautiful terrace with sea view, very comfortable and nicely decorated . Staff was super friendly, especially Aaron that looked after our table. Food and drinks arrived quickly and all delicious. Definitely recommended...

Everything done cheaply, the cocktails are on draft and taste watered down and really sugary! The food is average and it's tacky on the whole.
