Flames Kebab in Corby

Extremely bad customer service. Very rude manager who scolds customers with foul language. At the request of my friend to put the salad in a separate dish, the manager started yelling like a psychopath, he shouted at us that he was not going to put the salad separately from the burger. He insulted my friend so terribly that we were all in shock! I have never seen such rudeness in my entire life. I will never order food from this horrible place again and would not recommend to anyone unless you want to be insulted and yelled in your face!

Came out the cinema on a rainy night and walked down to get some food, quick service and placed our order to take away but they only take cash? Really in 2022!!! So we walked back to our car snd went home, went on just eat and ordered our food, by card!!! Food delivery was OK, hot as usuall and a tasty burger but never enough chips and the wife enjoyed her kebab, the food is good but not taking cash lost them a point.

About the 25th time I have ordered kebabs from here. Food came nice and hot, kebabs, burgers, chips. Plenty of fresh salad, great taste and reasonably priced

Just visiting Corby and fancied some food. I know, I'll treat myself to a kebab. Looked up kebab shops on Google and up cane a really good trip adviser review on Flames in the town centre...so off I jolly well drive, get there, walk in, and notice my shoes sticking to the floor!!! Smell of kebabs was good though so ordered the more expensive Special Kebab. When it was given to me in a knotted carrier bag I did think to myself "that feels light." And no wonder, because when I got back across Corby and opened it up it took a while digging through the vegetation to get to the meat, which was lamb...and probably a small squer's worth at that. What was special about the special kebab remains a mystery to me? Perhaps it was special because you could share it with a vegetarian...who would probably get more out of it than I did. Sorry Flames, but if that's the best you can do with a kebab you market as "Special" then you don't deserve my future custom. Oh, and do wash the floor, its kind of off putting having to peel your feet off your floor everytime you have to move in your shop!!!

Great food as always from Flames

This was the second consecutive time the food has been delivered without the extra pita bread. But this time the food was barely warm. This resulted in it not tasting as good. Disapointed!

Food was very early, which would of been great if the food was any good! Very disappointed tonight, had to bin all the chips as they were undercooked, the kebab was not great either! I know everyone has a bad day but it's not exactly cheap, been ordering from here for years, most of the time it's good but today not so much 😔

Delivery arrived Asap and the food was delicious, deffo order the chicken from there again.

The salad in the wrap tasted like washing up liquid or something like that and my child's chicken nuggets were cold in the middle

Usually good food, only issue is they only take cash. Parking can be a pain as it gets busy as there is a lot of takeaways on the same street.

There chicken was undercooked (raw) made me feel sick knowing someone will let that pass as cooked! I would advise to never eat from here.

Chicken breast was full of fatty bits and thrown together like a dogs dinner chips have obviously been reheated or left sitting in oil all hard crispy and disgusting

It advertises 2l bottles of come when actually they are 1.5litres and chips were burnt but the rest was ok.

Yummy great portion sizes, lots of salad, however meat slightly too salty. Manageable with more salad

My son and I share the Flames Special but unfortunately on this occasion there was a pitta missing. Despite this we enjoyed the kebab as the food was tasty and hot. Our order was delivered much sooner than expected and the driver was very cheerful.

Never disappoints. FLAMES is the best takeaway in Corby by a country mile A☆☆☆☆☆

as usual, great food, large portions and generous with the meat. ordered a chicken but got a doner, so hungry, I ate it rather than reorder. food - great delivering correct items - not so on this occasion

I think this is possibly the best kebab place in Corby well presented great food and the salad is crisp fresh and superb , would highly recommend them :-)

Best kebab shop in Corby. I use them all the time and often add requests in the notes such as asking if we can have the sauces in tubs. Never fail to get it right! Food is always warm, never had any issues. Equally as good with collections. 10 out of ten. Definitely would recommend! Enjoy :-)

My large mixed kebab was smaller than the small I usually receive from elsewhere and not only that but it wasn’t mixed it had barely any chicken in at all! I won’t be returning, this was my first and last flames experience

Look I have been getting these kebabs for years. In the old days it was after a messy night out. Today its more refined. Yes, refined. The food ain't for eating when drunk. It's for eating all day everyday. The flame grilled chicken kebabs are lovely, the salad is so fresh. A healthy, tasty option if you want a take away. Plus the chaps running the place are friendly and very hard working. And why not read the paper while you wait? Enjoy my friends. Top stuff.

While I would give 5 stars for the quality of my half pound cheese burger and chips, I ordered a large kebab for my husband which cost more than mine but there was less of it. My burger and chips covered all of my plate but my husbands kebab didn't even cover half of his plate, pitta included. I've seen bigger happy meals at McDonald's. Total rip off!!

The title is honestly the best thing I can say about this 'kebab' shop. The me at was full of stringy fat which almost made me throw up. The chilli sauce was a horrid paste which lacked flavour and the chips were cold and soggy. Seriously wish I just grabbed a McDonald's as felt I'll the next day. Not saying anything was wrong with the food but it certainly wasn't good

Almost everything was good. I ordered 2 litre coca-cola but got 1.5 litre bottle.

delivery was fast but the food tasted off and was not nice

when I order Coca Cola 2l I get just 1,5 l .

Food arrived late phone up and told it was on its way 5 mins another 20mins later still no food arrive 30 mins later cold chips weren’t cooked!

Fast delivery, however meat quality is not ok at all. Very tough, dry and sinewy. Won't order again, sorry.

Ordered a vegetarian kebab, description said that it will contain aubergine and courgette with other veggies, but they were not there... Just onion, a little bit of paprika and champignons. It was really disappointing. Husband was happy with his lamb kebab though.

All of the meat was absolutely delicious! delivery guy explained that I had a different desert which was fine as the cake was also delicious. Had a nice filling meal and would order again!

Ordered x 2 chicken burger with chips and salad. X1 was without salad, the other without chips. Requested missing items. Still waiting after 30 mins. Chicken burger also disappointing. Not how I remember it.

Poor quality of food, not in slightest bit fresh, looked like a bomb hit it, far too overpriced for what was received, couldn’t eat it so went in bin.

I used to buy from flames grill - by going to the shop - and the delivery standard of cooking was as good as I remember - in terms of going to the shop. So I am quite pleased!!!

Food is good but you need to read through the order and check that it's all there.

Ordered for a time slot which showed available but as soon as the order was placed 30 minutes was added and then the order was late by another 20 minutes. Don't use these if you are wanting a quick meal

Very poor customer service. Food was over 40mins late and when I’d spoken to the restaurant they told me “We are extremely busy right now, be patient.” And then proceeded to hang up.
