Flames in Thurrock

Asked for red cabbage and lots of lemon juice. When I got home I had seen him put loads of lemon juice on but I couldn't taste it at all!

A little better but still not perfect. Better sized portion but not enough lemon juice to cut through the grease

been with family and ordered take away, ordered sheesh kebab, chicken donner, chicken and lamb kofte. onion rings and chips. it was amazing food with turkish touch.

Last 2 take away order have been poor quantity and becoming greasy. Portion size for the 3 meat mix is really not worth purchasing. Even the salad Portion has become small, Is a real shame as this used to be 1 of the best take aways.

Highly recommend their chicken salad, really tasty and very generous serving. We have ordered from Flames regularly for years. My kids love their pizzas and cheesy chips.

Of the five staff serving only ne, in the bp very limited space was wearing a mask and that didn’t cover his nose!Lots of shouting in contravention f Covid rules.One huge stupid male, no mask, not challenged he did lots of shouting too.Customer wingeing on about Covid rules saying “it’s all rubbish” so large and so stupid saw no point on this frontline health worker challenging him.Meat was coated n greaseReally not nice

We’ve ordered from Flames multiple times over the past two months and we’d have to say it knocks the competition out of the park. We’ve only ever had one issue and that was met by unending apologies and attempts to make up for it, showing they really care about their standards and customers. Their delivery drivers are always friendly and polite and are always on time or earlier. The food is really reasonably priced, always fresh and delicious. Overall a great restaurant with polite and friendly staff and extremely enjoyable food, would definitely suggest ordering

Well cooked shish, with better spicing than in the past better presentation and nice pitta, overall a better experience It’s only a take away so distancing and hand sanitisers aren’t relevant

Lovely Kebabs, reasonably priced, good salad on them and loads of meat, good value for money and very friendly service. We shall eat there often. Well done

Lots of lemon juice helps disperse the residual grease on the meat. They are always polite and welcoming and incredibly busy Just put their prices up, not sure how much, but feels a lot

It’s been good to see that they have got ttheir act together a bit more than before. Seems to be quieter

Ordered my normal doner with red cabbage and lemon only Still too greasy but better than past time. If only the lemon was more plentiful and less dilute!

Always get my shish kebab from here won’t go anywhere else. The food and salad is fresh, the guys are good people and always impressed. Thanks!

Been here a few times, some good some awfulBest, nicely cooked kebab well presented Worst, shish kebab being cooked and tongs used for raw chicken used on my cooked meat so refused it.Yesterday visited near closing for a small diner, meat was appealingly dry asked for red cabbage and lemon only, saw them putting the lemon sauce on it, they put plenty but no flavour tasted!Think that was possibly my last visit

Trying to find a decent kebab shop in the Village. This was the 3rd shop I had tried in the area and was again disappointed, the chicken was slightly dry and overdone. The strippers were tough on the outside but very nice on the inside, the wings had a funny taste and were very too spicy. Let's just say I am still looking for a decent kebab shop in Stanford.

Takeaway.. Very pleasant group of people. Eager to please. Cheeseburger and chips cheese burger on its own. Good fast service. Also do delivery within the local area. worthwhile trying, good value.
