Five Four Ate in Islington

Had a breakfast here this morning, cheese omelette and definitely deserves a review. Was one of the best omelettes that I have had. Staff were really nice and friendly too. Compliments to the chef! Thank you guys

I had an amazing experience in this coffee shop, staff was super friendly, the food was fresh and delicious...not to talk about the portions. Will definitely come back !!

On the hunt for new local nice and cool coffee shops to share with You I have found the lovely, Five Four Ate Cafe, an American Diner style Restaurant/Coffee Shop. With a great vibe to the place, nice music, great staff and amazing environment. With a vast menu, from breakfast to great snacks and desserts. Offer as well coffee and a lot of health smoothies and fresh drinks. The decoration was very simple but with details that will call Your attention and make You feel that there was put a lot of effort on the space. The coffee was nice but not the best I have had in this area. Would I come back to this place? Yes. But it wouldn't be my first choice. Although I will be back to try some of their pancakes because I saw someone on the table next to me having them and they look delicious. Unfortunatelly today I have visited this place after I had my lunch already. They also offer a couple of tables outside where You can smoke but because this is located in a very busy street the view it is not the best. I am happy to have found this place and as I said will be back for pancakes.

I've just had the spinach and get ya gozleme on the recommendation of a waitress. It was amazing. Huge... much bigger portion than thr normal London serving. A lovely cup of coffee too... even though it's decaf. They have a range of decade year and non-dairy milks too. It might not look amazing from the outside but it was a good choice. Will be coming again with the family.

Tried this place out a few weekends ago and it’s been a weekly occurrence since. Best breakfast on the Holloway Road and the staff are really friendly.

We popped into this cafe for a breakfast and so glad we did. We was a step above your standard greasy spoon. With a choice of regular full English to several choses of Mediterranean selections. Food was great and waitresses attentive and food excellent. Definitely work a trip for a breakfast.

Had a great breakfast here friendly, relaxing environment. Bubble, poached egg, veggie sausage fantastic. Great coffee. Super friendly staff and you can sit watch the lady make fresh gozleme (I really gotta try one and stop just watching). All you want from a local cafe.

We visited the cafe for brunch and had a great time. The staff are friendly and efficient. We loved the look of everything on the menu. The stuffed flatbreads looked amazing. We choose the mediterranean cooked breakfasts which were absolutely brilliant. Garlic sausage, scrambled eggs, haloumi, feta, salad, olives and more. All served with some of the most delicious toast we've ever had. The cafe had a lovely family atmosphere. Wished we lived nearer to return.

What a lovely place to eat clean friendly nice staff . Great food and very reasonable prices. Would recommend all to give it a try

Five Four Ate is an amazing family cafe in Holloway Road, the food is great and the coffees even better. Worth a visit and don't forget to try the delicious gozlemes!

We have visited this cafe four times in three weeks and plan to be back. The staff, probably the owners, are very friendly and pleasant. We had gozleme each time and enjoyed three different fillings. The coffee is good and the milk shakes the best around.

This is my local breakfast/brunch place. The food here is really good value for money. One could get a full English breakfast with toast and tea/coffee for £5! The Turkish gozlems are even cheaper and taste really good too. Definitely recommend it to other people! And the service is really good and attentive!

I'm eating here breakfast from time to time. It's amazing, friendly, and very nice food. If you want good breakfast on Holloway Road, Five, Four, Ate it's definitely this place,
