I went to this fish and chip shop after a while,surprisingly the shop has been refurbished and the quality of the fish was extremely good,crispy and tasty,very clean and professional place.

My go to place when I don't want to cook. Their fish and chips is the best I have eaten so far, whether you buy takeaway or in store

An absolutely terrific chippy, would highly recommend it to anyone passing. Personally i would go for the fish and chips.

I have searched for several years for a decent fish and chip shop locally and by chance popped in to the Fisherman’s Inn yesterday and ordered cod and chips. All I can say is that it was outstanding and delicious and from now on I will be a regular customer. The shop itself is spotlessly clean, everything is cooked fresh and not left for ages waiting to be bought. I cannot highly recommend this local business high enough for such delightful food.

Tasty fresh fish with batter and chips with mushy peas and a gherkin. How quintessentially English and nice! They have a special weekday lunch offer which is one of the best value options in London. If you’re in the area and hanker for fish n chips, this is a must.

Good fish & chips & other typical choices, pies, savaloys etc.. Eat in or take away. Good portions. convenient parking located behind & to the side.

An absolute gem for the West Greenwich community! Hearty portions of fish and chips and reasonably priced, especially the deal at lunchtime 12-3pm Mon-Thurs!! Keep up the excellent work and we will be regular customers for years to come. Not to mention, the food is very tasty and the chips are just right - crunchy and fluffy and not soggy that you can get in other places! A lovely family and group of people are running the place and are very accommodating while you wait with newspapers and lovely themed restaurant eating area if you want to avoid the rain.

Stumbled in because on our way and they had parking space. The cod was fresh and batter light and the chips crispy. Service also excellent and the home made tartare sauce a bonus. The new owners should be proud of themselves.

I'd not eaten from this place in a while, but wow. I had a takeaway and the food was fantastic. The fish was actually relatively good, and the same could be said for the chips.

We had a team lunch from here yesterday, we had a very large order and every thing was there and tasted wonderful. Well done!

We got a take out from here when we first moved to the area as it had come recommended. I got chips and onion rings and my boyfriend had chips and a burger. The chips were so good and the onion rings were perfectly crispy. The price is so good too. This is my new favourite chippy!

Been a few times in the past and really enjoyed it. Até in, improved the small seating area. This time we had the special offer fish and chips....never again, far inferior to their normal fish and chips, better to pay more as the standard is far far better. A bit disappointed but will go back and have the proper cod.

I have lived a short distance from this place for over 4 years now. I have never once seen it open. Even when it’s supposed to be open, it’s closed. I’d love to try it but I can’t for the life of me find out because it is ALWAYS closed.

Best fish and chips I have had in a long time will definitely visit again

My first visit since their make-over. It is excellent, we had cod and chips, the cod was lovely, the batter light and crisp, the chips crunchy, scampi and chips...again excellent. AND really good value for money....AND really friendly helpful service.....go to the Fishermans Inn immediately!

If you want fiah and chips just pop down here. They have good fish, good chips, mushy peas and tartar sauce. Also good to know that they don't serve alcohol.

Just popped into the updated Fishermans Inn. Same great fish and chips but redecorated and much improved inside. Well worth a visit. Support your local chippy!

I ordered from Fishermans Inn because I'd read great reviews......... and I wasn't disappointed. It was fabulous. Beautifully fresh fish and the batter was perfect. Delivery was early. I shall definitely order from here again.

After the delivery still hadn't arrived 25 minutes after the delivery time (which they had already added 20 minutes to), I called and they were exceptionally rude. Food was mediocre. I'll never order from them again.

Best fish n chips I've had in years, great quality, generous portions, fish tastes fresh, not greasy. Fast friendly delivery service. Only one question - is there anyone who can eat a large portion of chips?!

Food was 45/50 mins late although did I telephone and staff were polite and apologetic, Food arrived hot and was of excellent quality! Will definitely be using again!

The restaurant has explained why the delivery was late which I understand - but it was over an hour late. Open up my order to find its wrong. Bit disappointing after waiting so long!

Delivery time was made longer by 25 minutes, and when I called to confirm the time I would have thought they would have been more apologetic. The staff member was not very accommodating. By the time it had arrived (over an hour wait), the food wasn't great. Chips were lovely, but batter was slightly tasteless and chicken nuggets were not nice to eat. Unfortunately wouldn't eat here again.

It's what you would expect. There is certainly room to improve the taste, espically in the batter. There is not much alternative to Turkish and Chinese in the area so maybe some room in the market. Always friendly delivery.

The pie was crusty the chips and battered sausage was really greasy and the save lot was uncooked it was all cold To be honest the waste bin eat more then myself and partner

Food was a little late but driver very friendly and apologetic. Food was good - hot and not too greasy.

Delivery time was estimated at just over an hour after order time.. Food actually arrived nearly 2 hours after order time. They did phone us when they were 10 minutes late to apologise and say they would only be another 15 minutes. To compensate they would throw in a free bottle of drink, which was forgotten but they returned later with it.. Once the food arrived it was very good. One of the best fish and chips I've had for a long while.

Honestly there is no reason why this Fish shop shouldn't be one of the favoured take aways in Charlton. With the over saturation of pizza Indian and Chinese it's nice to have some well cooked fish and chips. Though the delivery times leave a lot to be desired. I would like to see more on the menu eventually. More choice of deserts. Maybe even chicken or donner kebab as an option (everyone loves chicken) I'd order from here again though.

As always the food couldn't get better. It was slightly later than the estimated delivery time but that was due to the heavy traffic in the area. They give very generous portions and the whole meal was extremely tasty we will definitely be ordering again. Thank you for such a wonderful meal

Always great food, not so great delivery times. 35 minute delivery time had 20 minutes added to it on confirmation of order, food arrived another 15 minutes later after that. Driver a cheerful apologetic chap though

I orderer large chips, 3x gravy, 2 sausages and some sodas. One of the gravies spilled because you ran out of lids and did not cover the container properly, so my food was ruined. All your food is wrapped in paper and guess what happens if gravy spills in a bag that is full with paper wrapped food. The paper will stick to the food. Therefore, I had to through my entire order. On a positive note, the soda was nice LOL. Thank you for taking my money and delivering anything I could eat. Complained to just eat will follow.

I was disappointed with my order as the batter was very soggy and the chips where not cooked enough.

Just disgusting, I ordered two quarter pounder and I had two plain bread with a surrogate meat and disgusting cheese, the cheap only, "no f****** way" that I don't know what I had roll in a piece of paper worst then a newspaper look boil potato mix at steam and all fluffy and undercook. Zero star people McDonald's is cheap and better

Is it too much to ask for a meal of FRESH fish in a crisp' beer batter Served with fresh crispy chips ? This was fish shop fish and chips at its worst. Fat, flabby, greasy, pale chips served with fish and a ( stale) sausage in batter. The batter would have been fine on the sole of my shoes. Awful, awful, awful. This is the second time I've ordered from here. Scampi and cod have really well cooked and tasty. Chips both times have been a bit under cooked and pale and could doing longer.

Haddock was delicious! Chips could have been cooked a little long, still very pale and no salt and vinegar after I requested to have a lot. Huge portions, we shared a large chips between 2 and couldn't finish them. Share between 3 easily. Deliveryman was friendly and funny.

Decided to try this on a whim and I must say the fish I had was excellent, however the chips were undercooked and very pale it needs to be cooked for longer. The delivery driver was friendly and the food came within the estimated time.

The order was for 3 regular cod and chips and two large cod and chips with onion rings and mushy peas for collection not delivery. The cod was excellent. Normally I have to peel off the batter and leave it because it's too oily gives me raging indigestion. Not so this time, it was the best I've had in a long time and that includes Harry Ramsdens 4 days earlier. Unfortunately the chips, whilst there were enough to last a week, were very pale and, although not undercooked, were not very appealing at first. That said one large portion was enough for the 5 of us and the rest went into the fridge. 15 minutes in an actifry was enough to crisp them up beautifully and they provided tea for the following 4 nights.

Chips were very undercooked and not very pleasant but quick delivery and good communication

The food was great but let down by the fact that we were not sent any salt. Something so simple which most places send with takeaways (especially with fish and chips). It should be made clear that salt is something that needs to be requested (just like sauces etc) if you are not going to provide it. We were staying in a hotel so had to do without the salt. Other than that and a slight delay in the delivery (for which they called us to explain so was absolutely fine!) it was lovely.

A good chippy which is rare in London! The chips could have been cooked a bit longer as were'n't crispy at all. My girlfriend reckons the fish wasn't fresh (from frozen) though I coudn't tell the difference. Slightly begrudged at having to wait 1hr15m on a Wednesday evening for delivery. Will use again though.

Really good food delivered in less than half an hour!

One star lost due to delay finding our house for delivery. Food was good though. Boxes help to keep the fish in good condition with the chips packed separately.

I asked for a burger sauce dip wasn't added Then i went to open the door and see a masked man that only could his eyes i got so scared you need to tell your driver to take off mask when he knocks on the door next time will call police on him if he shows up like this again
