Delivery was a lot faster before takes a bit of time to get the food and it was not very warm.... Miss the young man that use to deliver the food he was polite and kind

Fish, chips and peas in a box with a slice of lemon for under £9.00 fantastic. I live near Whitby so used to good fish and chips and these are definitely amongst the best I’ve had. Fish cooked fresh to order and is delicious and the batter light and crispy. Lovely

Excellent food friendly staff and got some amazing crisps

Chips n curry were "ok". The Kebab was cold, salad was wilted because clearly they had been left on top of the meat so long until the meat went cold. More effort needs to be put in to cook food fresh with a reasonable time-scale.

Went today first time and met Chelsea which she is awesome kind friendly easy to talk too and had a great chat and the portions was massive highly recommended excellent fish shop and they do a variety of food milkshake u name it they got it

My husband and myself called in today and found the staff very kind and friendly as we told them a story about going in the chip chop when we first got together, and that we had just got married, they was so happy for us and we will definitely be going back.

Went in to Fish Xpress today for the first time and The two Ladies were Very nice and welcoming :) I had the Fish xpress special and it hit the spot nicely, good old traditional fish n chips you just can’t beat it :) So thanx for that il be coming back definitely x

This is my new favourite chip shop as the food is always delicious, hot and fresh. The staff are very friendly and as soon as you walk in the door you are acknowledged. Thanx guys

Wow what can I say the children menu what fab my grandson had the sausage chips gravy but was missing the drink :-( I had cod and chips again delious will definitely be going there again.

Food is absolutely amazing proper chippy chips greeted with smiles and politeness very good prices as well, even took the time to run after me with a bottle of vinegar that I had forgotten I have absolutely nothing bad to say, thank you.

Lovely staff, very helpful and friendly. The food was amazing, definitely moving from our regular to this one. The homemade crisps you do are so nice, will get some of those next time. Was allowed to try these for free which is a testament to the service you will get here. Highly recommended!

And can honeslt say definitely well deserved good reviews, staff were extremely friendly, food was hot and very tasty, milkshakes were on point. And the chippy crisps were exceptionally good. Highly recommended. Food was cooked to order when we popped in last minute, wed never neen before. Lovely fish, gorgeous chips, good sized portions with good offers and super friendly staff. The place was modern , very clean and great choice of food including vegetarian. No horrid polysterene packaging or plactic bags. Staff environmentally aware. As you can read we were extremely impressed. 5 stars definitely.

Today I ordered battered sausage and chips with curry sauce and also fish and chips with peas gravy and slice of lemon also a Bueno milkshake...All battered sausage was soggy and chips cold the curry sauce was warm. The fish and chips was a disgrace all cold and chips looked like when the first opened today and the fish was cold and soggy batter with no lemon. Absolutely shocked for the price I paid. If I had walked in and ordered it I would of had fresh everything. I waited 55mins soggy food which was cold...Used to be a good chip shop only when you don't get it delivered as then you can't see what your getting. Can't return anything I've a disabled son hench the delivery.. what a joke for £28....Shame I can't upload the picture to show everyone

First time ordering from here and wish I’d known about it sooner… the best chippy dinner we have had in years and will definitely be coming back. Nice big fat chips, proper mushy peas & gravy and the fish actually tasted like cod with a lovely light batter.

Always order from here and wouldn’t go anywhere else. All staff are friendly including delivery drivers, very generous portions and attentive to order notes. Worth every penny, would definitely recommend ⭐️

We took a drive here because of the good review rating but were unfortunately completely disappointed. The chips were stale and had clearly been sitting around a long time. They should have been thrown in the bin and a new batch fried. The cod was alright for size compared to normal standards nowadays but didn't taste fresh. The peas had hard bits in and had a sour taste to them, how they managed this I don't know! The final straw was a long hair in amongst one of the trays of food so that went straigh in the bin. Disgusting! Was too angry at the time to go and speak to them, hence the review. I hope they read this and offer a gesture of goodwil!

Absolutely amazing got the large fish and chips and couldn’t finish it all it was massive it is definitely worth it’s price will be deffo ordering again ;)

I have ordered in the past from this place and even do the collection option. unfortunately today the food was not good ,it was all cold so I had to warm up everything , the batter was soggy like if the fish was cooked hours and hours ago.

This place does nothing but make me smile. The food is always hot and tasty the delivery is the fastest you'll ever get. 👍👍👍👍👍

Amazing owner, friendly staff, generous portions & delicious food. They have got a huge menu to choose from so it would be hard to find anything that is lacking. I noticed the owner giving great customer service to each and every one of his customers which always means a lot to me as a buyer and fellow business owner. Whilst I was awaiting my order he gave me some complimentary freshly made chip style crisps to try. They tasted lovely. I will be back soon!!! 🔥

this is from the 08/08/2024 at 21.11 ordered 2x Naan Kebab Mixed Salad, Mild chilli. when it came it was cold, i don't mean cool, i mean cold like it came straight from the fridge. phone fish xpress, they sent another lot but the food was poor.

Lovely food & lovely staff. Great portions. I couldn’t finish all mine. We only had chips so cant comment much on other menu items but they weren’t greasy at all. Would definitely go back and looking forward to trying other things.
