Fish & Shish in Rochford

It was our first time to order at Fish and Shish in person. We were greeted by smiling friendly staff. We ordered the family feast consisting of chicken wings, doner, shish, kofte, and ribs with pitta, salad, rice and sauce. We also ordered a side of chips which were chip shop chips. The potion size was ample for two people and probably enough for 3. The quality and flavour of the food was immense including the rice. So much flavour. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would certainly be going back for more and will happily recommend to friends and family. Rated 5 star from us.

Excellent fish and chips, delivered really hot and on time. Rock and chips , cod and chips highly recommended. Will definitely order from here again.

The food is outstanding, fish chips kebabs and everything they do is 💯 spot on actually wouldn’t go anywhere else

What has happened? the Lamb shish used to be delicious, tender lamb now it's shoulder lamb not cooked long enough, tough as old boots!! Couldn't eat it. Price increase, lower quality food. Will not be buying from here any more as this is now the 2nd time I've been disappointed. Such a shame.

This takeaway restaurant has failed us a 2nd time . Missing food order Phoned restaurant to inform ensured they would send out missing items never arrived! Such a disappointment as food is actually really nice.

Great experience. Very polite staff, excellent quality food cooked to order and the first takeaway I have ever had where the packaging is 100% recyclable (card and paper). Gold star.

As we’d had a busy day yesterday decided to get cod and chips for tea. Both pieces of cod were terrible. The batter was hard and the fish inside really dried up with no flavour . Threw it away. Will never go again. Will use “Chris’s” every time

Probably the best takeaway kebabs we have ever tasted. Speedy service and excellent value for money. Even the small kebabs are enormous!

Recently moved to Rayleigh and had seen great reviews on Ubereats for this restaurant so thought we try it so we know for future. We was not disappointed one bit. The portion sizes are brilliant, likewise with the price and the food was fantastic! The large chicken shish kebab with rice was such a great dish for a reasonable price and will always order that whenever I order from here. Would highly recommend.

I can honestly say never had a bad take away ,every friday since it's been open,skate chips mmmmm ,or large cod chips,hmmm

Really easy to order online. Fantastic service - ready to collect in 15 minutes. Food is hot, salad fresh and the best chips in the area. Generous portion sizes. An absolute favourite with our family!

Sorry but only popped in for chips for the family. Chips were awful tasting and overpriced. £7 for 2 large portions of chips.

Very clean inside. Food always fresh. Fast friendly service. Cooked to perfection. On-line ordering. Home delivery. Eat in. Take away. These people are working hard to build a good reputation in a town awash with food outlets, especially fish, chips & kebabs. So far they are nailing it. Recommended above ALL other fish, chip our kebab outlets locally.

We tried this place a couple of times and have been very impressed with the food. We had chicken shish, chips, salad, cod, mushy peas and onion rings. We all said how delicious the food was. The portion sizes are great and staff very helpful. In our opinion, this will quickly become a go to takeaway for many locals. Reasonable prices with great quality food.
