Fish & Chip Shop in Oadby and Wigston

Very poor customer service rude family woudlent recommend visiting this shop. Isn't the first the but felt compelled to write a review after this expirence.

Chips and battered sausage pretty much like any chippy, but the curry sauce is awful. I think they water it down and add a thickener for consistency as it has no flavour. Very disappointing.

Having had to wait...Chips so dry ... fish double cooked in batter ....worse ever had....wont be going again ...

Local chippy always have to wait 5 or 10 mins never has the simplest things cooked like chips found out its quicker to go into Wigston to the chippy there same quality but with out the wait.

I have used this chip shop a lot of times, but on my last visit I asked how long has the fish been cooked to be told over half a hour. I ask if he would put me two fresh ones in, only to be to told he had no more fish, this was at about 7 pm. Now I don't wish to pay for fish that has been cooked that long for the price it is now days so I left and went to another shop a got fresh fish. I will not be using here again I would sooner go further for the right food.

I have used this shop for my family and also my local church use it for take out meals after a church function. always good quality and lots of it. the only downside for some people might be they only take cash

Our church social committee organised a Race Evening / Fish & Chip Supper for 32 people. We needed the 32 individual orders to be ready to collect at 17:30 hrs. This was achieved by the management and staff of the Little Hill Fish Bar to include all of the extra sides orders that people had also pre-ordered. We transported the food the 1/4 mile to the church room and everybody was delighted as their individual orders were all still piping hot and cooked to perfection. It is great to have 32 very satisfied customers. I would highly recommend this Fish & Chip Bar if you are organising any similar event but best do as I did which was to pre-order the day before. I left a deposit and paid the balance upon collection. Overall we received top quality and quantity as very reasonable prices.
