I wrote a negative review a few years back when me and the owner bumped heads over an order. But I feel like I owe it to him to come back and leave a next review as I regularly go in there. So here it is. I really enjoy the quality of the food and the excellent service. The chips are always done right and the wings are cooked to perfection. Additionally, the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend Fish and Chic to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal.

Fantastic service, Charmaine the server was excellent in dealing with our party, we all had meal deals, the chips were old sxhool chips well cooked, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and the chicken wings are some of the best I’ve ever tasted, with plenty of meat. Thank you Charmaine and the crew.

I ordered a family takeaway through Uber Eats last night. I had to throw the food away, the fish was incrediby greasy and lacked any taste at all, the chips were clearly old as they were rubbery. I requested a refund but all I received was a "do let us know before your next order and we'll make sure to take care of this". Unacceptable as my kids were left hungry last night !!!!!!!!!!

Teníamos bacalao y patatas fritas y algunas alas picantes en el lateral y estaba delicioso. . . Salsa de curry también era agradable. . No demasiado líquido ni demasiado grueso. . ¡Perfecto! Definitivamente recomendado!

Great selection of food, not just fish and chips. The staff there are friendly and their service is really fast too, great fresh food and highly recommended.

Ordered through Deliveroo and absolutely disappointed after reading all the lovely reviews. The batter was burnt and saturated with oil that didn’t smell fresh. COD was very rubbery. Chips were fresh but obviously cooked in oil that needed changing. Don’t think I’ll order again. I’ll stick to Elmo on the Askew Road as their food is always fresh and hot.

I passed this place on my last day in the UK and decided I had to give it a try. My only real standard was my local chippy in a Hampshire village. This one was great, I got the large cod freshly fried up, some mayo, ketchup and curry sauce. It was heavenly and I highly recommend this place to any visitor who would like an adventure and a good and tasty bit of British tradition. Now the curry sauce wasn't exactly to my loving - but that didn't keep me from enjoying it.

Great place for fish and chips. Tasty and FRESH. Staff are friendly aswell which is nice - service with a smile and also reasonable prices - I'll be back.

The food was amazing, best fish and chips I had for a long time. If you are in the mood for something different, plan a visit or place an order. Everything is done to perfection with great exceptional customer service Highly recommended and definitely a meal you won't forget

Popped in here to have a quick take away but it was more than that! I got the chicken burger meal and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, it was very tasty and you could tell it was freshly made there and then. The price was very reasonable too and the staff are cheery and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a quick (filling) bite!

The interior is really nice, bright and VERY VERY clean (5* star food hygiene). We had the regular cod and chips. It was so good! Hot, not greasy at all and no bones. Plus it was at least half the price of getting it at a pub. Highly recommend if you're in the area. We will be definitely back to try haddock or place!
