Firezza in Islington

Pizza never showed up and they were incredibly rude on the phone. Used to be my favourite pizza place - now wouldn’t ever order again

Food arrived after an hour and a quarter,cold with poor amount of toppings,everything had to be microwaved which obviously spoiled the food. Emailed Firezza to complain and had no response they just want the money for terrible quality cold food.

Used to be good but has gone very severely downhill. Pizza bad quality and don't even think about ordering any alcohol (which is on the branch's menu) as they'll not deliver anything. Seems that they only have Muslim delivery drivers who refuse to deliver any orders including alcohol - you'll only find this out when you call the branch after your order is very late, no one has the decency to call you to inform you there's an issue

Really?? STOP WASTING MY TIME!!!Wow wow!! 2 weeks consequently problems with my order. The problem is TIME. Seems like Firezza can't accomplish with their deliveries, sometimes they have not drivers, sometimes they have too many orders, sometimes they have not idea what's going on...oh dear! What a shame!! It's an incredible great product with a VERY POOR management and organizational skills. I'm sorry to say. I WILL NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM YOU ANYMORE.

Mi experiencia con el servicio de entrega de Firezza fue realmente mala y me hizo ni siquiera probar su pizza. Todo iba bien ordenando en su sitio web hasta que llegó el pago. Esto se completó a través de Paypal pero no recibió confirmación por correo electrónico y el pedido no apareció en línea. Al llamar al restaurante me dijeron que tenían problemas con Paypal y que tendría que esperar de 20 a 30 minutos para que se registrara el pedido. Después de esperar tanto tiempo, volví a llamar, pero ya no contestaban el teléfono. Más de 90 minutos después de mi pedido original, me llamaron para decirme que finalmente lo habían recibido. Les dije que quería cancelar y el restaurante dijo que estaba bien. Sin embargo, casi una semana después todavía tienen mi dinero y no me han reembolsado. Tratamiento y servicio al cliente totalmente inaceptable, no intentaré de nuevo.

I order regularly from them as the pizzas used to be pretty good. However recently I had two awful experiences that have put me off: 1. I ordered and it took 90 minutes to arrive. I had even called when it was supposed to be here and they assured me it would be with me soon, and it wouldn’t arrive cold etc. Kids kept waiting for pizza until there was no more point. I was offered a refund that still hasn’t materialised. To top it off, when it did arrive, it was cold and inedible. 2. They sent me a voucher code. It didn’t work, so I called the customer service 7 times to try different combinations - no one knew what it was and they offered zero help. I have emailed both their contact and order form and have heard nothing from them back. I was a pretty regular customer but honestly now I would rather just order Franco Manca on Deliveroo given that Firezza is so unreliable.

The service matches the food quality - careless, as if you are a nuisance. They lack any social graces, and it's like going into a shady car garage where they communicate in grunts. The food quality is poor, oddly cooked (some over cooked, some under cooked) and some even appeared to be microwaved food. Really poor.

I ordered a few pizzas from this place. The quality of the pizzas keep going down hill. Im a regualar, have ordered here for yesrs, so they have made good buisness frome me and my family ,however i have had on going problems with them giving me the wrong dip. I called up and said i got the wrong dips , and she refused to offer me a refund on my next order (of just over two pounds!) and bascially said that they were not wrong, basicalully calling me a lier. I had all my family try it and they all said it was not right. It had no rosemary in it and as im a regular i order this dip all the time me and my family know how the dip tastes like. I even invited my neighbour road and she was like 'juke what is that! That is not garlic rosemary!' A couple of quid they could have refunded me or they could have said we will put in two free dips on your next order, knowing im a regular customer, but they instead would rathrt loose a regular customer, and get bad reveiws all for just 2 quid! They have terrible customer service, the customer is always right espcially for just 2 pounds!! The pizza quality has gone down and i think this has been the last draw for me!!!

Ordered the signature 'Firezza' pizza and wedges with cheese. Where to start. Food was awful. Not just a little bit as I can usually put up with bad pizza but this was inedible. The wedges were simply not cooked enough. Not even slightly underdone but to a point where you couldn't eat it. The pizza was an absolute disgrace. Hardly any toppings, the few that were on the pizza were positioned all together. No care taken at all. And the whole idea of square wood fired pizza being their USP, forget that. Plenty of other pizza places nearby who will gladly look after you.

Visited on Tuesday, ordered to take away, staff seemed busy, as we waited someone called asking where their pizza was “late” My pizza was not tasty at all, too much tomato purée not enough “if any” cheese it really was like eating tomato purée on a pizza base. Very disappointed, I will not be returning.

We ordered a custom pizza with parmesan cheese. The pizza was delivered without the parmesan. We called the restaurant to complain. They denied the mistake, saying there was a "sprinkle" on there (there wasn't). No apology or acknowledgement of their mistake. Steer clear of this place.

the pizza crust was undercooked and cheese tasted very artificial the chicken tenders wear not crispy at all overall didnt finish my meal dont eat here

I wish I had checked these reviews before I wasted £20. Overpriced rubbish!!! Cold and greasy, no taste and will never use them again.

Shockingly high price for not very much. The pizza wasn't bad but at £21.50 for two quarter m?! What is their mark up i wonder.

My pizzas were never delivered. When I called to ask about them - they said they tried to deliver but couldn't reach me. They had my mobile and home number but made no effort to reach me/ Refused to re-deliver and/or refund my money. Even now I have no refund. Was told my a very rude manager to 'stop making a fuss about £30 quid!" Avoid these cowboys like the plague...

spesso ci siamo serviti di questa pizzeria solo su ordinazione e consegna in casa. fanno sempre un po' di ritardo. la pizza è buona cosi come le insalate e gli antipasti misti. abbastanza cara comunque e se paragonata all'italia molto, molto cara.

Cold wedges, burn pizza (yet still undercooked veg?!) and mouldy Parma cheese... What a pi@@ take...

Ordered online. There is meat on my vegetarian pizza and the pizza is cold and an hour late. Shocking. Never ever again. So unhappy!!!!!!!

We ordered Pizza from the Highbury branch last night as I had heard that they offered a vegan cheese option. Although not vegan I am dairy intolerant. A few friends of mine also ordered pizzas with regular cheese and also containing meat. I was extremely upset to find on delivery that my DAIRY FREE pizza was joined to a pizza covered in CHEESE?. The toppings a blur together. I couldn't eat it!

We have just discovered that Firezza have vegan cheese (VioLife) for their pizzas and they deliver from 17 branches across London! We visited the Islington branch and collected our order. It was really tasty and they have good offers on their leaflets such as buy 2 get the third free or buy one and get another for £1. Will definitely be ordering again! Thanks!

Two pizzas- a half-metre margherita and an n'duja sausage, cost £32 delivered. They arrived looking virtually identical, the margherita discernible from the remains of a single transparent basil leaf while the n'duja version was the same basic, lazy scatter of white and red as the first. The sausage was OK in itself, when you could manage to find a piece within a slice. Otherwise they were lukewarm, chewy and in the end just a mouthful of bread, dried sauce and not-so-special mozzarella. No blister, crispness, creaminess, freshness, colour, acid. We had to jazz them up with parma ham from the fridge to make them remotely interesting. Seemed to be a family meal consisting of the cynicism of a company in decline. The delivery box said 'London [sic] best pizza (Hardens)' Can't even be bothered to spell that old review properly any more. Then last night, we went to Tortilla at Kings Cross. The same money for 9- count 'em- NINE tacos, 1 burrito, 2 margaritas and 2 lemonades, and corn chips. NO comparison. Goodbye Firezza, you were quite good once, if never actually London best.

have ordered from this company in the past but the pizza I recieved today was nothing short of abysmal and in short will not be using them again we ordered two 12" pizzas the vegetable pizza we ordered had a very nasty metallic taste and the base had two different shades to it and a really bad smell to go with the nasty taste to say I am disappointed is an understatement I have spent alot of money with this establishment but I wont be spending 1 penny more sort it out Firezza

We'd been ordering Firezza for years before they merged with another company and insisted we use London Bridge instead of our usual branch. The pizza is always cold because it takes at least 90 minutes to arrive (despite the promise of 60 mins when you order), the quality is poor at best and the staff are so rude it's unbelievable. We'll be using an alternative from now on!

This pizza place is such an embarrassment that it doesn't even allow itself to have a Tripadvisor profile for its London Bridge / Holyrood St branch. To confirm, I have never ordered from the St Paul's Road Branch (and given my experience tonight of its sister place, I cannot expect I ever will, for the goodness of my own health) so this review relates to Firezza London Bridge / Holyrood St. We ordered a half metre pizza with one half "Piccante" and the other half "Buffalina" with added chicken. The pizza eventually turned up an hour after ordering (we live less than 200 yards away) and, surprisingly, not only did the delivery man hand over a pizza box but we were also handed a separate bag containing... a ball of mozzarella! Well, one new experience was had this evening in having to dress a delivery pizza with cheese. It's actually less fun that it sounds.Anyhow, the pizza itself was unbelievably disgusting - I don't think in all my years of pizza consumption I have had a worse one. At one point I considered eating the actual pizza box in which it was delivered in the hope that it may add some taste and variety to the meal. The pizza was so bland we couldn't even distinguish between its two halves - in the end, we dumped the mozzarella ball on one side and took the view that it would be the "deconstructed" Buffalina.Toppings were minimal, the pizza was tasteless and just looked very very sad. I've never seen a more depressing looking excuse for a pizza in my life.In conclusion, avoid this place (and I would assume all "Firezzas") at all costs. If you are hungry and after a pizza go anywhere but here.

Ordered a pizza from this place a week ago and it came 1.30 hours late and when it arrived it wasn't what I ordered and it was cold. They begged forgiveness, refunded my order and said 'next time I would be given a complementary pizza'.So called a week after, same happened. Cold and not what I asked for. Over an hour late. They also said that there was no record of my original order so couldn't give me a complementary pizza. Safe to say that this place is awful and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We had a lovely TA pizza from these pizza place, the ingredients are fresh and of good quality and the prices are reasonable.

I ordered last year and never did again after the delivery man arrived with a cold pizza opening the box telling me that it will be fine.. Tried it again today the staff on the phone make you really uncomfortable and unsure if I should eat from this pizza place. After taking 20mins to take my order on the phone I gave up never again will waste my Money to have incompetent staff cook or deal with my money again.

The pizza here is always great and they are quick to make it. It's a little expensive so I try to get a deal when they send me an offer over text.

A very good alternative to any other greasy pizza delivery restaurant. Bit pricey, but in desperate times of pizza cravings it delightfully hits the spot.

Up there with the pizza pilgrims and the pizza easts of London (though coming at pizza from s different angle), these pizzas are a world away from places such as Dominoes. Ability to add toppings is wonderful and though they are expensive, the pizzas are worth every penny! Always on time as well! Seriously recommend to anyone and everyone

I'll never get pizza from here again. Really wasn't impressed and it was expensive. Sides were soggy. The base of the pizza was actually quite good but everything else, particularly the chicken, wasn't good

This takeaway supported me though some of the best and worst times when I lived in Highbury.The pizza is fantastic quality (fresh ingredients, authentically made in a wood fire oven), which makes it some of the best pizza I've had outside Italy.It is take away (and home delivery) only though. Would surely make a killing if it was a restaurant.Price is c.£20 for a 1/2 metre.

A different style of pizza for those who fancy a change. You pay by the yard. Not cheap, but not too expensive. It's one of those novelty places you try a few times, but can get bored with. That's not to say you should not give it a go as some of the pizzas are amazing.

We love the pizza here - the sourdough base is delicious and the toppings are great. The only downside is the pizza is a little on the expensive side, but it's well worth it.

The foods were freshly arrived before its expected time, fresh, hot, even hard to handle!And the look of the pizza was so mouth watering!
