Fireaway Pizza Leyton in Waltham Forest

My partner and I ordered one pizza each - for delivery. On both, about 30% of the pizza was incinerated - black burnt crust and black burnt underside. Had to scrape underside in order to make it edible. See photos. Question - how do you send out pizzas that have obviously been burnt?? Unacceptable. Pity, will have to look elsewhere for pizzas now. Obviously, we would not recommend.

The place looks new and shiny. The staff could do with a bit more enthusiasm. It’s got great potential but the pizza is simply ‘ok’ to ‘good’ not great. More work need to be put into it to make it somewhere people want to go. I don’t think they’ve mastered Italian pizza making, they’ve just got a decent oven. Not quite Franco Manca or Rosso Pommodoro but still worth a visit in Leyton

Staff were grumpy. I had some issues with their introductory offer but was polite about it. Because of this they took my order but did not serve my food instead they gave food to other people first. Fyi i order pizza as did other customers so it is a simple first order should be ready first. Also a different staff member was about to give me my food but the person who served me turned him back and they made me wait even more
