Never ever ordering again, never even received the pizza. They lied and said the order was delivered, I was stood outside waiting. No one turned up, and when I phoned they said ‘it’s been delivered, nothing we can do, £30 down the drain. Don’t waste your money they’re scammers

The young guys with the glasses he was really rude and he thought we couldn't understand his language but he kept swearing its not a good place to go in with family

The yummiest, most inviting pizza I have ever had in the UK. I was attended dearly by the staff who proved to be not only meticulous service providers but design artists making a pizza not only loscious but also artistic. Definitely recommended to all who look for quality and eye-catching pizzas

The pizzas didn't hold together and all toppings and cheese slid away from the dough. It's a real shame because the taste was actually lovely

Food is average. Staff lies. Just make sure you check before taking delivery. They change order according to their convenience and lies about trying to call you to confirm.

They don't accept cash on delivery. This is the only fireaway in the country with this policy. 🤬🤬

Not worthy of 1 star. Phoned in advance and placed an order and told it’ll be ready in 15 minutes. Got to the place 20 minutes later and the order wasn’t ready. And only started making it after I arrived at the shop. Pathetic to be honest. Very bad customer service. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST

I ordered two pizzas and 6 wings but the taste was worse It was like bread

Ordered from uber eats last night and got the "buy one get one free" margarita pizza deal (so our order was just two pizzas). We payed extra to add hot honey to both pizzas but I couldn't see or taste it at all so I wonder if they even added it. We live about 5 min drive from the restaurant but our order took 1hour 10mins to arrive from being placed, absolutely crazy. The driver who delivered our order was also incredibly rude. I told him on the phone that my boyfriend was outside ready to collect but he demanded I come down to get it?? He proceeded to ignore my boyfriend and refused to roll his window down to speak to him. Overall bad experience which is a shame as its our first time ever ordering from this chain, won't bother in the future

I had ordered pizza from fireaway last night i seen some hair on it and i called them ask for another unfortunately the guy who was in charge was very rude

Staff here are really nice food was hot and crispy not soggy and whammy delivery was a bit long but expected some times when its busy ofcourse and they use their own drivers so they have to wait for drivers to get back from other delivery's i get it 8/10 from me overall

Worst service I ve received ordered a pizza nearly 2 hours ago still waiting called 3 times keep saying it’s on its way when it’s only a mile distance from the shop horrible at least speak the truth.

Last time the products didn't arrive within the agreed delivery time, the order was canceled by Uber, this time the ad said buy one get one free, I received one product. I do not recommend this place.

There's buy one get one free on Uber Eats occasionally if you're concerned about costs, but the pizzas and chicken wings are great. My parents and brother have sensitive stomachs, so on those occasions, we splurge considering other places aren't entirely homemade. I've had the meat zone calzone twice, but I prefer the pizza. I can't say anything about the shakes since I haven't ordered any. Deliveries are almost always within ETA, otherwise the most it's been late was approx. 10 minutes, other times by 5-6 minutes.

The pizza was nice but not worth £18 it was a built your own 12” it costed me £20 the shake costed £6.99 The price is to high would recommend if prices where lower “Update response to the owner” I’ve checked it thank you in that case 5stars

Eh, it was okay. Ordered delivery and scheduled it for a certain time; it arrived bang on, good start. Problem is the food itself was a bit of a letdown; the pizza was barely warm and the crust chewy, and the chicken was greasy - I will say they were both very tasty though! A mixed bag, but overall alright, I'd probably use them again... one day. Maybe.

Been to many pizza places in the past but nothing to beat this one for a few reasons...super clean (never seen a takeaway as clean and tidy especially the food prep area), very friendly staff and all wearing neat tidy uniforms, super tasty pizzas all prepared in front with the dough + toppings neatly placed on top and the pizza sauce is very carefully and patiently topped on the base - the pesto based pizza is one of my favourites. Plenty of choices in vegetarian too. Was my go to place @£9.95 (any pizza) but they hv increased it to £11.95 so my frequency has dipped. But definitely worth a visit...

It’s so upsetting that me and my 6 children are sat here hungry because our food was unfortunately not delivered, I’ve heard great things about this restaurant but I’m deeply disappointed by the outcome, and when I call the restaurant their is no answer, disgusting…… disappointment all around

The takeout can't be cashed out of this store's excellence. It happened that I lived next door to this shop. Three minutes after the pizza was baked, I tasted the steaming top delicious food. It's definitely worth trying!

After my initial review i have upgraded it to 4 stars. Food now delivered.piping hot, just like my previous orders. The garlic and parmesan chicken strips are delicious. As is my make your own pizza. Pre order a pizza delivery to be delivered at 9pm. Get an email just after 6pm to say that it is on the way! Shocking! I rang the shop to complain and was told they would deliver at 9pm as I'd asked! IT HAD BETTER BE FRESHLY COOKED FOOD THAT'S DELIVERED AT 9PM AND NOT THE 6PM DELIVERY KEPT WARM. If it is this 3 star will go down to a 1 star! Read the order properly guys and gals!

What an incredible take away!!! Not only are the pizza's 10/10, freshly baked pizza's, but the staff are absolutely great! All the sides, deserts and salads are delicious but also the staff are super helpful, very friendly and incredible driver too, delivered so so quick! We LOVE fire away pizza! Weekly visit and would always recommend!!

Placed an order through Uber Eats. The timing was ok, an hour wait which is average for a Tuesday night. The food did arrive warm, but the crust on both the normal and Nutella pizza was hard and felt as though it had been reheated. It was edible considering the hour wait but not at all nice. Chicken wings were also very fatty and soggy. Wouldn’t recommend for the price or order again.

Very very yummy and fresh, I didn’t expect the cheesy garlic bread to be as good as it turned out. Very delicious. I ate in and added it to the places I would order takeaways from.

Great taste. Sadly delivery was 40 minutes from email to say ‘on way’. Food was cool not at all warm. Heated up to make fine. Bit of a shame as pizzas are excellent.

The nastiest, greasiest, most burnt and bitter thing I've ever eaten. The bottom of the box was soaked in grease and literally dripping. Luckily the pizza was so burnt that the base remained hard and didn't stick to the bottom of the soggy box. I never thought I'd find a pizza I couldn't enjoy on some level. If someone gives you one of these pizzas for free, you should view it as nothing more than a direct act of pure violence. £17 as well on Uber Eats plus a 70-minute wait on a quiet Sunday night. I was visiting from London, where I've had pizzas a few times from the Fireaways there. This one was really substandard. If I'm ever in Cardiff again, I will avoid this place and encourage you to do the same. Grim/10 EDIT: I just added this review to Uber Eats so that the restaurant knows I was a real customer, due to their response here.

Wanted a cheesy pizza but instead of Parmesan wanted jalapeños. The geezer didn’t let me, so I left. All other companies let you swap.

The pizza sauce was literally just blended tomatoes without any seasonings whatsoever! My kids definitely make a much better pizza sauce from scratch, and this is meant to be a franchise!? Joke! The dips were generic. The deco is very nice. The pizza cheese was of cheap brand. Disappointed - competitor franchises are far superior.

Half our order was great, the other half didn’t have most the toppings described on the menu. We didn’t bother going back to tell them as we waited over an hour for the order and just wanted to eat by then. Bit frustrating there’s no option to change or add any toppings on the standard pizzas (even to just remove meats not eaten) as the create your own options get considerably more expensive. Undecided if we’ll order here again.

A true disappointment. Tried fireaway in the London branch and really loved it, ordered the same pizza in Cardiff City Road branch and there was a day and night difference. Crust was all burnt , they forgot to cut the pizza up and the toppings were so scarcely spread out and the cheese had a strong off putting odour. Definitely wasn’t worth it considering I paid the same price I did in London. Cardiff branch needs some improvement therefore it’s a 2 star from me.

The best Italian pizza I have tasted. Chewy crust and the best tomato sauce I have ever tasted in my life. A margarita for £6! A signature for £7.00 really good pricing for really good pizza top quality cheese and toppings. I have eaten a lot of pizza from a lot of places this is by far my favourite if you basically want takeout pizza express far cheaper then I highly recommend coming here. My only recommendation is to allow the ability to have 2x toppings. Also the ability to sell 12 inch 14 inch even 15-18 inch pizzas.

Amazing customer service and amazing food. Ordered through deliveroo and deliveroo couldn't find a driver so my initial food went cold. I called to ask to collect the food which not only did they give me my original order they also gave me everything fresh. Incredible tasting pizza and the chicken strips are also really good. Will definitely order from them again but next time directly.

Really disappointed with my order, the thought of a space rock dessert sounded amazing, I’d honestly prefer to eat jam from a jar, it was shocking! The kinder cookie tastes like a rock mountain abroad and the chocolate cannoli was harder than the ROCK! will not be ordering here again
