FINKIN'S incorporating BRASS and BLOOM LOUNGE in South Kesteven

Me and my partner came in as we had wanted to try this restaurant for ages (child free) wasn’t sure as we walked in if we was supposed to help ourselves to a table or not as the two staff behind the bar just carried on chatting to each other as we approached (could have been a new young girl learning the ropes so wasn’t bothered because we was then approached by another lady (staff) who spotted us and told us to choose a seat that we would like. We ordered food and the chef came out and served it to us himself , was very friendly and even asked if we wanted sauce and went and got it for us. He then checked if everything was ok with our food and so did a lady who’d previously brought drinks to us. Food was very quick and delicious! The atmosphere was lovely and I hope to be back in and bring my children for their hot chocolates as they look delicious too ! Thankyou so much we will be back !

First time at Finkins, and we're very glad we went. The menu looked delicious, I mean pretty much everything looked appetising, which made choosing one dish rather difficult! I went for the salad with warm chilli chicken, and dh chose the halloumi burger with skinny fries. When it arrived, it looked really good, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a side of homemade coleslaw with my salad. It was all really tasty. My dh polished off his halloumi burger and fries and thoroughly enjoyed it. Of course, we still had room for dessert, so we both went for the triple-layer, jammy dodger cake with a cappuccino. The cake was amazing! The sponge was so obviously homemade, and it was moist, melt-in-the-mouth, and sweet, exactly what was needed to finish our late lunch. We are definitely going to go back to Finkins. The menu looks so delicious that we have already chosen our next meals! Finally, a gorgeous place in Grantham where you can go and relax, have a light lunch or brunch or just coffee and cake with friends. The place itself has been decorated and designed to a really high standard. There is also a bar upstairs, but as we didn't venture up there today, I won't be reviewing it. We'll give it a go another time, and I can't wait to try some of the cocktails 🍸🍹 Prices are really reasonable too, which is a welcome relief, considering how everything else has rocketed in price. The salad I had, my hubby's halloumi burger, fries and coleslaw, plus his flat white and my pint of lemonade was just £23. We ordered the coffee and 2 big slices of cake separately, and that came to £10.25. A lot cheaper yet to a higher standard than I recall Belton Garden Centre restaurant offering, and for half the price. Great first visit. I'm looking forward to the second, which I imagine will be very soon 😊

The drinks took about 20 mins to come out,it was a quiet time so you can't blame them for being busy. Intact they took so long the girls had eaten their cake ( the lemon one was dry and tasted quite stale ). Service was a bit haphazard we could see our drinks waiting to be brought over while three ladies had a conversation behind the counter. Disappointed as usually it's a good reliable place to visit.

Very nice place. It's our go-to coffee shop. Nice mix of seating, good service, loyalty card, good food.

Thought the wraps would have come with chips or crisps but it was just a wrap so a little disappointed. The cakes are lovely and everything tasted great! Not been here before and would go back.

Lovely dog friendly cafe with nice coffee, nice cakes and tasty food. I had the pulled pork and cheese baguette, which was splendid! Good value too… coffee, cake, baguette and fries, eating in, for a little over £15. There was more than one happy customer too! 🙂👍😂

On Holiday in Grantham and came across this Gem. A delightful place to eat with a lovely atmosphere. Food was freshly cooked and well priced. Staff very attentive. It is also dog friendly highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was not up to standard as to what was advertised when l said something about the quality of food the staff said l could have a bowl of chips to appease me and said my custom was no longer welcome here

I sat at table 16, with my back to the servery. Every few minutes, extremely loud bangs, from the coffee preparation area, caused me to leave. Not even halfway through my cheese scone and tea. Don't know if I will return. * I couldn't see alternative free table. My anxiety and other mental health issues, left me close to having a panic attack. I had to leave.

Had a lovely meal with my sisters and husbands for a birthday celebration, meals were lovely staff attentive and pleasant, worth a visit

Just had afternoon tea with my husband at Finkins for a birthday treat. It was absolutely delicious and very attractively presented. The staff were very friendly too. We will definitely be back.

often i nip in for coffee with my brother usually sunday morn for coffee and cake I love this place so comfy great staff always with a smiley face it has a chilled atmosphere me and the wife had a sunday lunch today we didn't have to book and the meal was fabulous I definitely will be having a meal again I highly recommend finkins easy 10 out of 10

A really great afternoon tea with friends and family for a joint 21st birthday. The venue was lovely and the food was delicious, with seperate food for our vegetarian and wheat free guests. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely use them again.

Finkin's were very accommodating to my needs and helped me sort food out for a friend with no hesitation. The staff were very friendly, the service was quick and the quality of the food and coffee was excellent. Thank you to Finkin's for sorting my request out so quickly. Great service.

Stayed at the nearby Angel and Royal, but wasn't interested in the hotel's £17.99 price for breakfast. So came to Finkin's instead. Glad we did. Almost half the price and such a lovely atmosphere. Good breakfast too, great service and dog friendly too Well recommended

While visiting my son who lives in Grantham we visited Finkins for a Sunday lunch which turned out to be a Sunday treat as the food here is second to non with great service.

Just popped in for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised how big the place was! I wanted some sandwiches to go for lunch and the staff were amazing,really chatty and friendly and got my order ready really quickly. The real winner though was the food! The sandwiches were massive and tasted unreal! Also a lovely lady called Tasha made me the best hot chocolate! Will definitely be back. Highly recommend

Cheeseburger was burnt on outside but pink in the middle. Staff eventually cleared the adjoining table but ignored the food on the floor that the next customer stepped in without realising. Disappointed.

Entered here in a wheel chair through very difficult entrance doors. Found a suitable table to sit at for 25 mins and after asking only to be told "No table service" . No clue on the menu, on the table, on the door or counter. Left without eating. Service was no better than a transport cafe.

Fabulous lunch, home made delicious and excellent value in clean comfy cafe bar. Great that they let dogs in and very friendly staff.

I was in the other day for a coffee with the new Silver Labrador puppy and her older Jack Russell. The staff were great with the dogs, and they were even given chicken treats for being good girls. As always, the service and food is great and with a smile 😃.

We are not local people but visit Finskins when we are in the area. Excellent food, superb service from a very friendly team. The owner/manger, Karen, remembered us by name even though it has been a while since we last visited and took the time to come and talk to us. Had breakfast on the Saturday and an amazing home cooked Sunday lunch, how do you do those Yorkshire puddings? Thank you Karen and the team, will be back as soon as we can. Karen and Dave 😊

Terrible food quality, small quantity, very rude staff. Got our order wrong. They argued that they didn’t but they got the order wrong and then tried to give us food that we hadn’t ordered. Should of known by the cheapness. Note after posting: I only posted one review but the owner claims that second one was posted. Probably just another unsatisfied customer. New note: delusional owner keeps seeing new bad reviews an thinking they’re me!

Dreadful. Americano coffee, served in a mug, was the worst tasting coffee I have ever been served. On bringing this to the attention of our server & engaging her in a conversation about the preparation of the drink, it became obvious that there is little option other than, "that's the way it comes out of the machine". A bit like you'd get from a pull-in on the side of the A1. Sorry, I was expecting better.

Had a great night here for a charity fundraiser night. The staff were delightful and food was spot on. Great job !

My wife and I often visit here for lunch, or meetings, and always find the service, food and drinks to be excellent. It's a special building to us that Finkins is positioned within, its where we met one night in July 2010, and a place we know we will always be very warmly welcomed by the attentive staff.

Great Cafe with a restaurant atmosphere. Attentive friendly staff. Very good English Breakfast probably my favourite in Grantham. Varied menu with a specials board , lasagna, Curry and much more ! Highly recommend this family friendly cafe for breakfast, lunch , dinner or just a cuppa 😊

Popped in for some brunch while in Grantham waiting for my car to be serviced. Food ,(tuna melt) was very nice and reasonably priced. Service was prompt and staff were all very friendly. Would definitely visit again next time I'm in Grantham.

Amazing Food, atmosphere and service

Tried for the first time. Nice place and very prompt service. Ordered two full English breakfasts and food was delivered promptly which was appreciated as we only had a short amount of time to visit due to commitments. Breakfast was disappointing with over-cooked fried eggs. It appears the quality of the food was rather low, cheap even dare I say it and this came through in the taste. If I’m paying £20 for two breakfasts I’d expect a quality offering that is cooked perfectly as a minimum requirement. Had it been a significantly cheaper offering for the quality delivered then it would be perhaps more reasonable. Still on the look out for a quality breakfast in the area.

Friendly staff, even though we popped in fairly late they made us cheese and ham toasties (beautiful) and a pot of tea . I just started a little business in Grantham so this will be my go to place to eat.

Shocking customer service. 2 item missing from my take away order. When called asking if I got someone else’s order, was told “no”, and not even tried to sort my order out, just a dry: nothing we can do about it. Not even an apology. Won’t be returning.

Coffee was lovely as well as the tea. Unfortunately the chips were not cooked.and the teacake had heavily salted butter on. I am not sure where the taste of onions came from but a teacake tasting of onions and salted butter I am afraid didn't don't do for me. We wont be back.

Came to Finkins this afternoon for a change of scenery from my desk at home. Great coffee and awesome cake.

Just noticed a 1* review on a venue I and many other friends use regularly. This person must have had an off day. Owner has the highest standards and instills customer service to ALL her staff. Although most young staff all very customer focused and polite. Would recommend Finkins as best venue in town for daytime and evening events/ dining. Remember its not 3 Star Michelin Dining nor price. Excellence value for money. 👌👌👏👏

Absolutely vile service. Staff don’t know what manners are. Had a chicken roast the meat was pink. Mistakes happen but the server just picked up my plate walked off and came back with another. No apology at all. Got the manager over no apology from her either excuse for lack of manners was “we’re trying our best we’re busy” and then she walked off too. Didn’t even deserve the 1 star

Dog friendly cafe and all staff have treats for the pooches. Large selection of non alcoholic drinks available along with cakes and biscuits, it's just a tad expensive. But you pay for what you get, and that is great friendly service.
