My Fiancé and I started coming here 2 yrs ago, and ever since, we’ve never been disappointed! Staff are amazing and welcoming, the chef always makes the effort to come out and have a chat which means a lot to us! Food is always fresh and delicious, served on hot plates . Great variety of food selections. Thank You! We will be back soon! :) E&J

We came across this place going for a Japanese , luckily the Japanese was closed we have now been here several times when we are over that way from Norfolk, all our meals have always been good , The menus is not huge so that it can be cooked fresh the sauces are fresh not from a jar or packet Martin and Wella are always very friendly and you always get a warm welcome , the Kara Kara is to die for that’s if you like peanut sauce The food and drink is not overpriced a bottle of wine is not much more than what you would by in a supermarket ,basically they don’t rip you off , we my husband and I had a starter of chicken wings each. And then a main course each a bottle of wine and 2 pints of a German beer and the bill was around £40 Looking forward to going again when we are able

I love the pancit, chicken terriyaki, and lumpia! They also sometimes deliver in Lakenheath village with a £20 minimum. Definitely give them a try!

We were visiting the area for our daughters wedding in nearby Lyndon Hall. As we were arriving on the Saturday before the wedding we decided to book another restaurant just up the road. Needless to say very unimpressed when we arrived and it was closed. We happened past this place on the walk back to the car and decided to give it a go. Yes the decor could do with a tidy up without doubt, but the service and food was just great. We were slightly worried when we entered and there were no others inside. But after about 10 mins many more arrived who we assume were locals due to the banter with staff. We enjoyed a mixed selection of asian dishes. Excellent value for money and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there. Seems to do a roaring trade in takeaway too from what we saw. If in the area we would return without doubt. Also would recommend for good food, if you can see past the tired decor. Very quaint place.

My husband and I ordered the buffet for two, so we could try out each of the foods. Being half Filipino, I was excited to try out this place. The food is very flavorful and is served on hot plates to keep your food warm, but the prices are a little high for Filipino food. Very friendly staff. Cash only.

I love this little place. When I am here, I am made to feel like family with the staff being so friendly and accommodating and the kitchen being open (I occasionally just poke my head in to see how the food is made). I love the chicken adobo and recommend that highly. Would love to see the restaurant updated a bit, but I just view it as a part of the quaint and quirky character that feels like I am eating at someone's grandmother's house.

I actually visit Lakeheath to eat at a particular restaurant, which for some unforeseen reason was closed. I walked past this place on the way back to the car and thought why not give it a try, so I did. Staff extremely helpful and talkative, helping me find my way around the menu Food ordered is was a short wait before it turned up, and I have to say it was very tasty, well seasoned and hot. All in all an unexpectedly good meal at an excellent price.

Loved the food. The people could not do enough for us. Prices very good. Sadly the decor, badly needed renewing and barely any heating in the winter. You would need a thick cardigan or jacket on. Such a shame, as the food is really nice and the people are also nice.

Food was fine and the staff were very accommodating and even made me a dish I'd asked about even though it wasn't on the menu. The building and setting could do with bringing up to date though. Always a popular place as we often drive past.

This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had since arriving in England. You enter to an ambiance of stained carpets, ragged decor and lingering smell of stale cigarette smoke. After picking through the clumsy menu, you hear the sounds of microwaves going off, a sure sign of culinary skill on the part of the cooks. Your food comes out, resembling what's left over from a pot roast or maybe take out from another restaurant and the portions immediately let you know you've been had. Untrimmed of fat, you'll find your food temp to range from blazingly hot, edible and finally lukewarm (no doubt as a result of the microwaving) so mix it up and salvage what you can. Mushy potatoes (again, reheated in the microwave), limp peppers and hard rice, it's truly a disaster. Don't waste your money.

When you go into this little restaurant you'll find the decor separate any opinion the odd interior from everything else. The service at Filipiniana is excellent and the servers always seem to be in an excellent mood. You can tell that most of the customer base is made up of regulars from the way the staff interacts with them. This disposition alone makes the restaurant feel homey and encourages you to return. The owner is also the head cook and she will regularly pop out of the kitchen to say hello to customers. The food here is excellent. Personally I would reccommend the garlic chicken and the pancit. All of the food is cooked to order so you can easily ask for alterations to the dishes. The prices are pretty good and worth it for the food. I am glad someone told us about this place when we first moved here. I eat here regularly now.

We still enjoyed our meal, there's no faulting the food or the prices. I was a bit disappointed that the recipes seem to have changed. The Pancit used to have only rice noodles, but now there's thicker noodles thrown in (which I am not a fan of). The lumpia is delicious, as always, but there seems to be something different about it. The smell remains in your breath every time you exhale for hours afterward.

My husband and I were searching for a new restaurant to try and we stumbled across Filipiniana. From the time we arrived, we felt welcomed. From the time we left, we were very satisfied. The customer service is amazing, and the food is very delicious. If you are in the Lakenheath area, I'd definitely tell you to give Filipiniana a try.

Was here for my birthday celeb, didn't know what to expect, word of mouth from other Filipino friends who suggested a Filipino food celeb. First impression of the ambience, jaw dropping disgust, dining area looks a total shumble, food was below average far from what was promised. Place was a filth. Lost appetite instantly. It was packaged deal for £20/person and there were 9 of us but in fairness as I booked for 10-11 I gave £200 and separate tip even tho it was a self serve buffet. The owner who made the deal with me didn't show up and the partner was asking me for more money in front of my guests!!! TOTALLY RUDENORFOLK HYGIENE INSPECTORS MUST, I REPEAT MUST VISIT THIS KITCHEN!!!

The restaurant looks like it could do with a good cleaning. It felt dirty inside. I was hoping that maybe they were focusing all their efforts on the food. We ordered a chicken and beef dish along with rice. The price was good and the service was fast so that was good. We took the food to go. The chicken was inedible (sorry but it was), part of the reason was that the chicken that was used was unidentifiable (it looked like chicken innards). I was hoping that maybe the meat dish could save the day, but the meat was tough and dry.

A trip to Filipiniana is an eighty miles round trip for my wife and I, but we consider it to be well worth the effort. Our most recent trip was on one of the Filipiniana buffet days. These take place every couple of months or so on a Sunday, although the restaurant does not nornally open on Sundays. As with all buffet days there, it was a wonderful experience, which kept us talking about it hours afterwards. We arrived at noon and the small venue was quickly filled with people who had booked tables and would remain busy for the next seven hours of buffet day. A large group of people who turned up without booking in advance found that they could not get in as there was no room for them. While the first of the main dishes was set out, my wife and I were brought some tasty starters and then it was the struggle to decide what to squeeze onto our plates from the wide choice available. When I went back for my second plate, there were fresh dishes to try and Ruwella said that she still had another twenty dishes to serve in their ever-changing selection that day.Despite being so busy, the manager and cook found time to greet all customers when they arrived and to talk with them before they left. Such a friendly place. A home from home. This is not a flashy place, with staff uniforms and deep, plush carpets. This is where you go to eat interesting and very tasty food, cooked and served by the nicest of people.Pre booking on buffet day, Friday evening and Saturday evening advised. If you are lucky, you can park just outside on the wide road. Failing that, the free public car park is only a hundred yards away.

This place was recommended to me by a friend. When I first walked in, I was confused. I thought my friend was playing a joke on me. The atmosphere is definitely not worth writing home about. Then, I got the food. It was delicious. I've never gone back and eaten in the restaurant. I just get the food to go. I would recommend the beef bulgogi, the adobo chicken, and the lumpia.

The staffs were friendly and the menu prices were reasonable, but sometimes they use microwaved leftovers. You can tell the rice portion is least 50% less since they stopped getting rice from RAF Lakenheath commissary. They really need a new management.

The atmosphere when we walked in felt like a 'cafe' 1970's old style. It was poorly presented and not very clean in appearance. We asked for the menu, hoping for some amazing Phillipino food and some lovely fish dishes, and on looking at the menu found nothing but meat dishes. We asked if there were any fish dishes, and after a blank look was told she could perhaps find something in the freezer.. I felt at this point there was little point in asking about gluten free options. We decided to try elsewhere.

Wonderful staff and food but this place needs to be remodeled!! There is no heating or AC, and everything from the chairs, chair covers, carpet, paint, etc needs to be removed!! There are carts along the walls that serve as drink/condiment stations for the staff but they are unorganized and dirty looking. The bathrooms are horrible!!! We love the food and the price is not bad but the portions are a little small. If the owner had this placed remodeled I think it would get a lot more business. We only get take away because the atmosphere is so awful.

Great welcome and friendly staff, but this place is dirty and dismal. Food isn't expensive but disappointing and poorly presented. You need to wear old clothes to fit in with the surroundings.Maybe the owner could employ a painter/decorator for a starter and a deep cleaner for the Kitchen and toilet

Cheap prices, small plates of food but you can have a quantity of them which makes it more like a buffet meal. It gives you great opportunity to try things you have not had before and if you do not like them it has not cost you a fortune. very much on the Chinese style with rice and meat/chicken dishes. Would recommend, but they do not stay open very late, usually around 9.00 pm they are wanting to shut.

I can't say I was expecting traditional Filipino cuisine that tasted like it was flown directly from the island, but when a person who is not familiar with the cuisine notices the use of filler ingredients such as potatoes and bell peppers on dishes that aren't supposed to have them... There's a problem. On the other hand the flavor of the seasoning helps overlook that problem along with the frugal portions and overpriced meals. Yet, locals keep returning for their Filipino 'fix', satisfying themselves just enough to make it to the next craving but acknowledging that its mediocre at best. There's potential in their idea of a decent Filipino restaurant with simple yet satisfying dishes with just enough exotic to tease the taste buds. I hope they're searching for that reality. Let's cross our fingers they find it.

I first have to confess this can't be a totally objective review. We have been using the restaurant for around ten years, since the month it was opened and we are treated more like family than customers there.First the basics. Lakenheath is in the middle of three US Air Force bases. Many of the military guys have spent time at the big base on the Philippines, and inevitably many end up with girls from there as wives and partners. When posted to Suffolk, they of course bring their 'other halves' with them.Three such got together and opened this restaurant, largely to serve their fellow countrymen the food of their home.In the early days it was buffet style, paper plates and plastic cutlery. Not the greatest dining experience, but you couldn't deny the quality of the food. And you still can't. Whilst the restaurant itself has steadily improved, the quality and flavour of the food has been consistently maintained.Don't expect fine dining. This is street cafe-style. Do expect to leave licking your lips, and with much more money left in your wallet than you would have anticipated.Downsides? The service can be erratic, but join in the conversation / banter and time will fly by. Linger too long, the restaurant often fills up and morphs into a karaoke social club (At which you anyway will be welcomed and included, however bad your singing)Food? It's all good. Special mention for the hand-made Lumpia, little turkey-filled 'pancake rolls'It's different, unique, refreshing, bizarre, satisfying, splendid, wacky (and behind the scenes very professional)
