Very nice garden centre. Does not just sell plants.

We got everything we needed as well as a beautiful gift for a baby.

We visited in late January so it was not busy but it was a pleasant experience. All staff were friendly and it was a very clean, tidy and a well stocked centre considering it was out of season. We looked round the restaurant, which looked lovely, but elected to sample the gelato instead. We were not disappointed, it was delicious. We even asked what made gelato different to normal ice cream and the manager explained it was due to the aeration process during making and was very knowledgeable. She explained they made the gelato on site so it is not bought it. This was impressive. We looked round the food court which was relatively high priced, but the quality of stock on offer was fairly representative of the price. The till staff were extremely friendly and polite when serving us when making our purchase. I would recommend visiting and would return again during the peak season.

Great place to rummage & purchase items from Gardens, BBQ's Christmas decorations including lights, plants & outdoor clothing you get the idea. Just like everywhere else it's pricey. The cafe is great also

I love the food hall at Ruxley, especially the butchers. Great selection of good quality meat. Never had a bad buy. They have a extensive selection of plants and flowers, and gardening products, as well as lots of homeware and gifts. It is a little more expensive than other places but always good quality.

Great garden centre with wide range of choices. Lovely cafe/restaurant with decent grub. Gluten free and vegan options also available. Been many times and consistent quality throughout. Winter Winderland at Cheisrmas time is awesome, though it does get very busy.

This is a building site at the moment with thr Mulberry shut and the toilets nearby in accessible fir no given reason Staff seem to be very surely and uncooperative. Thank God Polehill is very close.

Good range of plants & goods. Excellent restaurant.

I have organised a birthday celebration there and it was very good. Food arrived promptly, was tasty and the waitress provided take away boxes for leftovers without any prompting.

Lovely garden centre with a really nice restaurant. Nice varied menu with food cooked Lots of beautiful things for the home, plants, lamps soft furnishings etc and a nice selection of bot men and womens clothing . Well worth a visit !!.

Apart from having to buy toasts separately because it doesn't come with the breakfast, everything else was spot on.

This place has everything you can imagine for your garden. Lots of plants! Come with children as they will also enjoy the place. Lovely cafeteria as well, a bit pricey though.

Me and my daughter visited for a look around and some lunch. I cannot tell you how amazing the service was today. Easy and simple way of ordering, and the food and drinks arrived within minutes. I was amazed. Thanks so much, and look forward to coming back in 2025!!!

The butchers of brogdale quality of meat is poor. Rib eye steak is not even rib eye.no fat in it whatsoever, who they trying to kid!

Quick stop off for a coffee and bite to eat while our car was being cleaned

Did the ice skating with the family on Saturday 28th at 3pm and it was heaving. The rink is nice but it was just too busy, I'm sorry. The hired skates were also incredibly uncomfortable. Not a great experience unfortunately 😔

Great garden centre and well presented also have a great butchers with very reasonable prices. Being vegetarian that's an unusual recommendation lol but the rest of family are totally convinced so it must be good 😊

Came to Ruxley for the Christmas grotto and had a brilliant time! Everything was on time and really gave you the magical feeling that Christmas is all about. It was nice that it was not just about presents but exploring, learning and engaging. There were some toys to choose from at the end which was reasonable given the price of the ticket. We got a great picture with Santa and the staff were brilliant with remembering names, ages and interests. Afterwards we visited the cafe, it was not too busy in the week and we had some really nice food. The price is what you would expect and it was nice to order directly from your phone (or you could go to the till). Later we visited the garden area to see the Christmas lights, gifts and plants. There was a huge selection and it’s great for the children to be able to see the fish, reptiles and twinkly lights. If you’re looking for something to do around Christmas time then I would definitely recommend coming here to get into the spirit!

Went to Santa’s Grotto. Apart from a long wait in a cold corridor, it was very smooth and enjoyable. Santa was fantastic with my 3yr old granddaughter! Gifts were good quality and the photos delivered very quickly.

Huge place ,lovely food and amazing shopping

I haven't been to Ruxley since it has gone upmarket and was very impressed by some of their more quality goods. We also had a meal in the extensive cafe which we all enjoyed. However it seem to have lost some of its charm

Lovely large Garden centre I came across when looking for christmas decorations. It had a grotto and ice rink too during the festive period. I look forward to going back once the festive period is over to wonder around.

It's nice for a treat but everything is really over priced. Good parking. The food had really gone down hill (but up in price) The staff aren't as friendly as they used to be either.

Nice restaurant not expensive reasonable price. Ice skating is about £15 per person for around 40 minutes.

As usual a cheerful place to go for Christmas vibes. Kids really loved the mini model of Christmas town and going in and out of them.

Lovely setting, can wander around for ages. Nice cafe with good coffee. Lovely atmosphere, especially around Christmas. A great place for looking for presents when you don't know what to buy- there is something for everyone!

We met family in the restaurant and was disappointed. The chicken and mushroom pie, appeared small and contained little chicken and we couldn't find any mushrooms. The peas appeared hard and tasteless, the chips dry and just warm. The roll that accompanied the soup was extremely hard. Having spent 51 years in the food industry, in my opinion the quality for the price was lacking.

Do not eat here unless you want to throw away your money, we had the pizzas drowned in mozzarella, the coffee was not coffee the cakes were dry, been let down massively by this restaurant. And as you pay online at the table you can’t even tell the staff about the food as they don’t come back over and visit. -10000 stars avoid coming here. Worst £20 ever spent

Excellent classy and well stocked garden centre with beautiful Christmas display and family entertainment. Lovely food hall. Good to visit and shop for an afternoon out.

Bought and paid for 2 teddies for my little ones today and went back in to the food market to get some snacks. The lady at the till basically accused me of stealing and asked to see my receipt after i told her i already paid and came back in to get food. Luckily I had kept it. If I was a white woman with grandchildren that looked like hers she would have taken my word. It doesn't take long to get out of London to experience racism. Overpriced tat is fine but racist staff is inexcusable. Won't be coming back

Lovely place, a labyrinth of different products and produce. It's very hard to describe. it definitely needs a visit.

Our seat was just inside a door which constantly opened and closed letting in a freezing draught. There was no other suitable table available.

Drove round the car park and drove back out again. When the car park is full, they should put signs up and let drivers know.

Love visting at xmas time... Really starts to feel like xmas when I visit here.. Lots of xmas products. Only down side is how popular it is.. Car parks are usually packed..

Always nice when you increase the cost to charities from £500 to £1495 for rink hire. I used to think that Ruxley was a key part to the community but now I know it's just about the money

Good range and quality of stock. Amazing Christmas displays. All kinds of Christmas decorations, lights and trees. Staff very helpful. Good assortment of shrubs. Lots of garden furniture on display. Additionally there is a pets and aquatics centre.

Great garden center, excellent lunch.

Beware of their customer service! I’ve been a loyal customer at Ruxley for a long time, but I recently had a very disappointing experience. I bought a large glass picture frame that had a small chip and it easily cracked after I brought it home, even though I handled it carefully. When I returned it to the store, they refused a refund or exchange, blaming me for the damage. I contacted customer service, but their response was overly formal and boiled down to “that’s our policy.” It felt dismissive and didn’t address the poor quality of the product. They also didn’t reply to my response so that’s why I’m writing this review. This experience has really put me off shopping at Ruxley again. I hope they rethink their policies and take customer concerns more seriously. You wouldn’t get this at somewhere like John Lewis.

They have everything for the garden. The animal exploitation is saddening, though. At Christmas, reindeer kept as an attraction.

Awful customer service! Placed an order with them and they took my money , no confirmation of the order was sent . I then tried to call them to resolve the issue.. NOONE ANSWERS THE PHONE !! I then got an email saying they payment is pending and they have no control of it so can’t cancel or accept and asked me to make sure when I place the order the delivery address matches my card address so I placed another order AND AGAIN took my money!!! No order confirmation! That’s £60 they owe me. Absolutely appalled that they have a telephone number and no one actually answers it. I want my money back !! ASAP

A truly wonderful place Lots of Christmas stuff, and probably one of the finest onsite Butchers shop around.

Massive place with all sort of lifestyle products but I was there for the plants....garden centre after all. I found the rare plant I was looking for and even had help from a couple of staff members to make my final choice. But I was surprised how small the actual plant section was given the sprawling place. The queuing time at the tills was not great but otherwise I found the staff friendly and helpful. Perhaps it is no longer the place for plant enthusiasts but good for family visits and holiday themed purchases.

Great garden centre that generally stocks the plants I’m looking for, however this trip was to see/buy the Christmas decorations. Ruxley Manor always have a beautiful and imaginative display of around six trees with themed decorations.

A little pricey but the quality is top dollar so it's worth spending the extra quid.. Love this place at Xmas too..

This garden center is a must-visit! It's not just a place to buy plants; it's an experience. The cafe is cozy, perfect for a post-shopping treat. Good but overpriced produce and nice plants but the prices are so inflated it’s ridiculous. Add 1/3 on to what you pay in any other nursery. It’s not really aimed at gardeners but at people who want crap plastic reindeer and to overpay for everything. Do your research and head elsewhere. Used to be great a long time ago. (Also. THE QUEUES).

Fabulous Xmas gifts and decs. So busy though.

Hey this place is great. It has so much to offer, including a huge Christmas grotto, a food hall, restaurant, and even a barber shop! Loads of parking and all seems very accessible. As with most garden centres this time of year, I'd recommend getting there early.

Had a very disappointing visit to the cafe on 21st November, my fish finger burger and chips was barely warm, the fish gougons were mushy. The food came up very quickly so it seems it had been sitting around for a while. I would have sent it back but my granddaughter had an appointment to keep with Santa.

Great Christmas decorations, but not cheap.

Ruxley Manor is one of the best family destinations locally. A garden centre doesn’t really serve it justice. Complete with a food court, grocery shop and sections for clothing home wares and seasonal items. On sight you can also experience temporary seasonal events/activities. A Christmas grotto for the little ones, an ice rink and other. Going there for shopping or to just have a nice family day out you won’t be disappointed by the experience.

Great range of plants at reasonable prices. Their Christmas range goods and ornaments are out of this world.

One of the best Garden centres in Kent

Love this place. It is a great place to grab food with a nice quite room to eat in and a good shopping place for plants and gifts with helpful friendly staff. You must go see their Christmas sets up.

Lovely garden centre and some great stuff on offer. I had food here a few times but this experience was a bit disappointing with food. Service was nice and quick even though it was very busy.

If you want an easy shopping experience at Christmas time go on a weekday, but you'll miss out on the wonder on the faces of the young kids.

Brilliant shop but desperately need more people on tills. 3rd time visiting in two weeks and only ever two people on each set of tills with MASSIVE lines of people waiting. Would be 5 star otherwise but queuing for 20+ mins each time is crazy and see a lot of people get fed up and walk out

A tawdy cathedral of commercial over indulgence and tat, but useful if exotic gardening utensils are are your thing.

First time here and what a great shop. Nearly everything you could want under one roof. It is a garden centre but sells much more. Had a good meal in the restaurant although on the expensive side, as are all these type of places.

I've been to Ruxkey quite a bit over the last 10 years or so and it always feels like a nice day out in this lovely garden centre, shop and restaurant!

Love ruxley garden centre always have what you want and more and plants are really healthy and staff are very helpful

Visit fantastic as always, come every year to see the beautiful Christmas displays and spend loads of money. Will more then likely be back again in a couple of weeks to stock up on meat from the butchers.

Visited the Christmas job which has grown in size, so much choice and wonderfully put together. Also visited food hall which as always has a fantastic range of produce

I really liked the Christmas decoration collection this time. But as always, the garden plants were awesome. I also tried the restaurant and liked it, but it was a bit crowded and there was a waiting time.

Everything you need and seems to be cheaper than other garden centers. Have a fabulous Lemax section. Christmas is the best time there for me. Lots of festive decorations

Restaurant is really poor over 40 minutes wait for food. They bring out your drinks 20 minutes before so your drinks are cold only order a sandwich

Great place to spend time with lots to see. Pretty much everything comes with an inflated price tag though, depends how you want to spend your hard earned cash.

Very interesting and well stocked garden centre

Today the cafe experience was ridiculous as they stopped taking orders because of a backlog by 1600ish. The restaurant was not even full capacity. Told us 40 min wait for tea even..and heard manager on duty who decided this say 20 mins to other customers , so inconsistent!

Lovely place! Big inside, lots of different sections inside! There christmas displays are fantastic! Restaurant was lovely food, drinks as well & catered for my gluten free requirements - reasonably priced! Lots of car parking spaces! Definately worth going - you will enjoy.

Absolutely fabulous Christmas display

A lovely centre to walk round and buy a few things that you need as well as buying some of the good food that they stock.

I do not usually comment on members of staff but feel compelled in this case.During a visit to purchase items from your annual Xmas Display we found some place mats we liked, but there weren't enough on display. So we approached a member of staff (Jo) who was so helpful that I would like to register my thanks.Even though obviously busy she went out of her way to help, nothing was too much trouble and after a search of the warehouse found what we wanted. During our conversation she mentioned it was only her 2nd. Day at Ruxley. Her attitude was exemplary and a credit to herself and Ruxley especially in view of the fact she is only recently a member of your staff.

Nice layout, great selection and good food.

I visited the cafe, which we do often, wanted to have a coffee and cake, when we tried to order the online system stated that it was a 30 minute wait, which I found unacceptable. I asked a member of staff, who could not help but walked me over to two women, busy talking, who did not immediately stop to deal with my query. The attitude of the, I believe, manager was very poor, did not try to deal with my query. The issues are If it is a long wait, then the small orders should be dealt with separately as someone wanting coffee and cake should not have to wait 30 minutes Also there was an ice cream bar that could have taken the order but we were not informed until the very end of the conversation. Why is it such a long wait, if they know their busy periods, they should take on more staff, and or train the other staff to move from what they are doing to cover the cafe, same with the tills. They should also make it clear online that a coffee and cake can be purchased at the ice cream ber It seems to me that the owner are more interest in profits than providing a decent service, the attitude of the manager was worse than poor. All in all an awful experience
