Favourite Chicken & Ribs Ilford in Redbridge

I bought 4 fillet burger meals. The chicken meat was cut so thin, it was so dry and tough, it didn’t feel like chicken and was just covered in batter. This ain’t a chicken burger. Waste of money. Only decent thing was the wings. NEVER BUY FROM HERE AGAIN ITS ILLEGAL TO SERVE THIS

Came here as Google maps said it was favourite chicken and ribs.. it isn't.. however I was here so bought some anyway 1piece, 3 hot wings and chips, the wings are hot! As they should be and all in all was enjoyable and a bit better value but wasn't favourite tasty.

Ordered a chicken burger and chips n drink for £5 and this is what they give me like are u serious

Absolutely beautiful food. You won't find better service in a chicken shop anywhere, always very well cared for. Prices are very good, especially for London. Would recommend as the best chicken shop in London.

Ribs are pork, it said on the website but not in the shop. I wonder if the chicken is really halal . From now on I would avoid buying Fried chicken. This people have no shame.

Why do their website not make clear their ribs are pork ribs and yet they say they are halal, not good enough

How can you be halal certified then sell pork ribs. No where does it say on your menu that it’s pork. Anyone can mistake it being lamb since you’ve got halal plastered everywhere.

Got a chicken wrap, was expecting good things but the chicken wasn’t so crispy and the tortilla bread used was a little hard. Chips tasted fine. Chilli sauce used is great.

I went there thinking it’s a 4+ rating, it really isn’t, the chicken wings were cooked earlier on the day and they didn’t seem fresh. The chicken burger was more crispy (too much batter) with very little chicken. The chips were fresh but were portion controlled - hardly enough for a child. Customer service was good though.

Terrible they're a rip off and use the school to up their prices plus the wings are so bad quality and small and the chips are greasy. And for some reason their 2 wings and chips are the same price as their 3 wings and chips. they have good chicken burgers though, truth be told. Plus bossman ain't that nice and is very bad at explaining why their 2 wings and chips are the same price as their 3 wings and chips. Overall wouldn't recommend unless you don't want to travel far as the closest best chicken and chip shop is in Gants hill.

First time I’ve been here and it’s such a great experience. The guy greeted me with a smile and was very polite, great customer service, hygienically clean atmosphere, I had chicken burger meal which was very splendid. 🌹💯

WORST SERVICE POSSIBLE!!! I URGE PEOPLE NOT TO ORDER FROM HERE. I ORDERED FOR MY FAMILY FOR IFTAR - PHONED UP AND PLACED THE ORDER AT 19.30 THE GUY TOLD ME IT’LL BE READY IN 20 MINS. I GET THERE FOR 8:10 TO FIND THAT THEY RAN OUT OF WINGS AND MY ORDER WONT BE READY FOR ANOTHER 20 MINS. BEAR IN MIND IFTAR WAS AT 20:27 AND I HAD TO DRIVE THERE WHICH TAKES ABOUT 7-10 MINS. SO THEN I HAD TO COME BACK HOME, BREAK FAST AND ORDER FROM ZING INSTEAD AS I CALLED THEM MULTIPLE TIMES AND NO ANSWER. NEVER COMING BACK.

Best chicken and chips in ilford and even Barking and Dagenham! No doubt about it, wings are crisp and have more flavour than others stores. Not just full of salt. Long live favourites Gants Hill

Go here sometimes for the regular chicken and chips. Chips and wings are good but prices is the inly thing which downgrades it. £3.50 for chicken and chips is quite overpriced compared to other places I could go, I could get a drink with extra money. I recommend to order wings itself which goes at the rate of 3 wings per £1 through which you get more value for money and skip ordering the chips.

In comparison to other Favourites branches, my experience has unfortunately been substandard with the Gants Hill branch. Chicken wings bought for myself and family were pink and undercooked. As a result, I've had to dispose the food. As a takeaway specialising in chicken, it is not expected they would not know how long it would take to defrost/cook. Coupled with the fact that the chicken burgers bought were extremely thin.

Food is tastes good and place is relatively clean. Chicken is also halal and the guys working there are nice.

Nothing more than your usual chicken shop but this one is definitively cheaper than few others in the Gants Hill area.

Best chicken and wings around. Crunchy fresh. Great value for money.

Delivery took 15 minutes more than it should have. Chips arrived soggy and cold. Wouldn't ever order again.

I do enjoy coming here and they are always friendly. I do remember once when me and a friend of mine wanted to stay, but some people from another take away came in and took the last remaining seats. So we weren't happy about that, but that was just one occasion out of many. So I don't think that they deserve to lose a star just because of that one time.

Worst ever chicken chips totally nightmare found a spider cooked and sticking in the chicken showed to Resturant said it wasn’t from them complained to council health and safety they are investigating never visit again
