Family Kitchen in Tameside

Normally reliable, tasty chippy. The chips, gravy and curry usually good. Last night the fish I had was inedible, discoloured, mushy in places, firm in places with the fish flakes all separating, presumably been kept in a freezer for too long. My usually nice and tasty Chow Mein was saltier than the Dead Sea and had me parched all night. My other half had a pudding where the suet was hard. Not sure if last night was an off day or the start of a decline but talk about disappointing.

Great Chinese. Never gets an order wrong. Food is always piping hot. Chips are good too

If i could give it a 0 star I would, I got chips and it was sooooo dry and bad they barely put in salt and vinegar. No forks And what a place how could they not have any sauces?! It was so bad overall definitely don’t recommend it. Service was also bad the women there was kinda rude.

Absolutely shocking food. The batter on the king prawn and lemon chicken was raw , and they still served it. cold chips . Probably the worst every take away

Just ordered quite a large order for 6 of us. 20 mins, everything hot, cooked to perfection! New fave 👌🏼

Great little cafe. Great service, girls there are polite but can have a joke. Food is spot on.

Was alright last year. But the last couple of months the quality of the food has been disgraceful. I've been given chips with that was absolutely coated in salt like a whole bottle was dropped on them. So next time I ordered I ordered with no salt only vinegar, and you couldn't even taste any vinegar even though I saw her put the vinegar on. And half of the chips were just raw potatoes. Also asked for something of the menu and they said they don't sell that here, well why have a menu with stuff that you don't sell.

Always had decent food from Tai Hing. No complaints here.

CHECK THEY HAVE PUT EVERYTHING IN THAT YOU HAVE ORDERED ( they are forgetting food items ) Twice in 2 week i have payed and they have forgot an item of food that has been payed for No point arguing with them so just check your order before you leave The food is nice though

Loved this place as a kid ,an it hasn't changed one bit brought back some memories and food is just as good as it was then🙂

Got my order slightly wrong but rectified it straight away. Food was quite good. No complaints.
