The food is good, flavoursome and portion sizes are decent for the price you pay. No criticisms there. The wait time is usually a little long, 5/10minutes or so. There is no where to properly sit, and it’s best suited to those who wish to take their food away. Unfortunately, on my most recent visit, my food wasn’t packaged correctly and leaked out of the bag on my short walk home.

This place is incredible. The shawarma and falafel wraps are delicious, well priced, good quality and I keep coming back here again and again. The staff are busy but incredibly welcoming and I enjoy the atmosphere and energy every time I go. Always reliable and will be back many many times. I recently realised they have a large version of the wrap which is an excellent option.

The best place and people. Must orders are the potato’s, falafel wrap and mango or lemon juice!

The treatment to a customer over a miscommunication mistake was actually insane!! I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap with chilli, no garlic - if the server would’ve given me his full attention as I was ordering, he wouldn’t have had to ask me again when I was in the next line waiting. I had headphones on so misheard him ask twice if I had garlic, no chilli - so I said yes instinctively, then immediately no when I had registered what he said and took my headphones off (who yells at someone with headphones on and then gets annoyed when they can’t hear?!?), and I even yelled again chilli, no garlic, to be sure! Once again he was no longer listening to me. Now I’m usually anxious, but try to advocate for myself over the small things - I regret doing that here. Lo and behold I get garlic, no chilli. I get it, mistakes happen!! But I don’t like garlic sauce so ask for the order I pay for (trying to advocate for myself). If this was done with no issue, fab service despite the mistake - but no. The male server proceeds to complain to his staff, and loudly in front of the 15+ people at the restaurant that it was ME who didn’t listen. I say I said chilli and garlic repeatedly and tried to correct you, he speaks over me and I am mortified I’m a part of a public spectacle over sauce!! I’m laughed at for arguing back by the servers and the grumpy old man proceeds to complain about MY not listening even as I walk out - 5 whole minutes of “she didn’t listen, I asked twice right! It’s her fault, not mine, that she didn’t listen, she had headphones on, if she listened. I asked twice, she said garlic, did she not!” etc. A five minute monologue, honestly impressive. Make sure the customer can hear you before you ask them a question - especially if you’re going to loudly rant about them in front of everyone if not. Better yet, give them your full attention immediately so avoid this mistake. I know you’re busy, but why am I walking home embarrassed and feeling like a scolded child over sauce!!! All this embarrassment over bloody sauce!! Was not worth the £4.50 mediocre wrap. The place two doors down is quicker and tastes better, with salad that doesn’t look like plastic. The servers two doors down give you their full attention, get your order right, and then do not whinge and insult customers for typically harmless miscommunication. Sort your attitude out. If a miscommunication like that gets you riled up enough to moan about a customer for 5 minutes straight - customer service isn’t for you!!

For the price! This is my favourite takeaway in South London. Food always tastes spot on.

Listen, I love you guys and this isn’t a convo any of us want to have but we need to talk about the chilli AND garlic sauces Im sorry, genuinely, but they both taste like Calpol There’s no good reason for it, every other element is goated? Please

I live nowhere near this area but try to visit whenever i am visiting relatives. Honestly the best shawarma and falafel wrap. The meat samosas are a plus on the side with dips. Just one wrap is super filling!!

Always 10/10. Delivery is great too. Love the mixed mezze. I write this as I’m eating yesterday’s leftovers and it still tastes so good.

A wonderful restaurant with a perfect blend of flavors! The food was expertly crafted, the portions were great, and the service was excellent.

I eat here atleast 2 times a week with a colleague. £5.50 for a big Chicken , Halumi cheese wrap with all the trimmings. It amazes me how they do it for this proce considering a Tesco meal deal. Food is always good and service really fast. Great little shop which I'm sure would be even busier if there was better parking.

As a veggie Lebanese I cannot rate this place enough! I get the mezze platter at least once a week. The hummus, the falafel, the potatoes - everything is just excellent. And such generous portions too. LOVE

Undeniably the best falafel and shawarma place in London. The quantity and quality of food is just unbeatable at this price. The owners are lovely and cheerful and the food is just to die for. This is among the very few places i keep going back to. Highly recommended anytime of any day.

Delicious shawarma wrap the size of your arm for only £4.50. Insane value and they also do boxes of food w rice and mezze etc all also very reasonably priced. Guys serving are very friendly

First time visiting, and I was amazed at the incredible value for the food I ordered. The owners had a special promotion running and were enthusiastic about sharing the fantastic deal. For just £25, I got two generous chicken and rice boxes, four shawarma wraps, two sides of potatoes, and two lemonades. The portions were substantial—finishing the rice boxes was a real challenge! Even without the limited-time offer, I’ll definitely return because the quality and flavor of the food were outstanding. Despite being busy, the staff were attentive and accommodating. Shukran!

I ordered delivery, and saw how cheap it was so ordered extra to last me a day or two, due to present mobility issues and WOAH. The portion sizes are not playing around at all, The wrap can easily be two meals if you're not of the biggest appetite, the same for the mezze box. The houmous is to die for, so smooth! If you're in need of nutrients and real tasting food I recommend this place, ticks all my boxes.

I visited Falafel & Shawarma in Camberwell, London yesterday afternoon and my experience was disappointing. When I ordered, I wasn’t asked whether I wanted my falafel wrap to be warm or cold; a basic question that should have been clarified. As a result the wrap itself tasted hard like cardboard and crumbled / fell apart. Very stingy on salad as hardly any in the wrap, with hot Houmos- something that should absolutely not happen. It ruined the flavor and shows a lack of understanding of basic customer needs. To make matters worse, when I called to address the issue, the owner was defensive, offering for me to come back. How is that a solution when the restaurant is far? The excuse of being "busy" is not an acceptable justification for poor service. It’s basic professionalism to clarify whether a wrap or any food/drink product should be hot or cold. This experience left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer along with a lack of respect for my needs. I won’t be returning, and I hope management takes a serious look at how they meet customer needs going forwards.

A quick paced falafel and chicken shawarma take away with wonderful food that's freshly prepared before your very eyes. The food here is really excellent at ridiculously affordable prices, freshly cut salads,amazing sides (spicy potatoes, stuffed vine leaves)and freshly squeezed juices are to die for (carrot and ginger !!!) This take away is the bustling heart of Camberwell serving good food to its local community for years. You can get equally a full vegan or chicken meal here for under a tenner , can't go wrong with that, really worth a visit.

The chicken and meze platter is extremely good value. Fresh ingredients and such a variety of food in one dish. The go to meal every time.

Absolutely banging food and no it is not a paid review i had the chicken shawarma box with rice and garlic sauce and o my it was fresh salad was crunchy and seasoned nicely chicken was succulent and with that garlic sauce it smashed it and it was a huge portion only a tenner

Great portion size, amazing value, tastes amazing.

Have reduced their quality to increase output - the salad is now bland (basically just lettuce, with a tiny bit of tomato) and there are no pickles! I went to Mr Falafel a few shops down to buy a portion of pickles to add to my wrap.

Phenomenal falafel wrap. Shocking that it’s only £4.50. Be prepared to queue (often out of the door), but so delicious it’s worth the wait.

I decided to order from this place other day because i needed a proper meal for a decent price, I hit the jackpot!! Their wraps taste like heaven - not to mention that the portion itself is HUGE for only £6/7? The meze boards are also really big portions and are under £10. I had enough for lunch and dinner as well as leftovers for the next day! this is now my favourite takeaway. 10/10

Great shawarma and affordable prices!

Try the lime and ginger juice drink. So good imo. Line when I went was so long but that’s obviously a good thing lmao. If you’re looking for notional information probs best to go somewhere else tbh. But it’s perfect prices for a quick munch. Falafel is obviously a banging option for veggies and Shawarma is banging for dawgs!

The Chicken Shawarma is legendary and the sweet potatoes are also great if it’s inside. They do really fast service and are always polite

An amazing Middle Eastern takeaway. The mezze plate with chicken was so delicious, fresh and had heaps of variety at a really good price. The Mango juice was so refreshing. The service is fast and efficient (they were absolute machines when I went).

I stayed in a hotel in this area and scrutinized similar eateries around here. I found this is the most busy place so I decided to buy my lunch here. A mixed wrap of falafel and chicken cost 5.5 pounds and the portion was massive! Yummy as expected.

Just got this delivered, travels well. Good portions, food is delicious. I think they have the best chilli sauce in london. It’s a 10/10 for sure with the pricing 👍

I came across this place by accident , however it will now be a place I will always try to get to ! The falafel is made fresh ,absolutely huge and so flavourful. It’s not soggy either ! As a local in Camberwell, this is one of the most frequented places I go for take away food. It's fast, tasty and super affordable. The staff are quite friendly too and looks happy.

This place used to be one of London's best shawarma spots until it's owner handed it's management over to someone truly biased and incompetent. I came in and asked for sambusek to which they advised me I needed to wait 15 minutes. I requested they shout me as I was parked out back and they refused. Went back to my car to wait, about 5 minutes later one of them comes outside sees my vehicle and proceeds to call his colleagues to take a look. I popped my head out the window asking them if the food was ready, unsurprisingly their tone suddenly changed and started the fake "brother" talk. I walk back in and order an additional two wraps and make my way to the till. Get to the till and they claim I didn't order anything and I should get back into the queue. Racist hating, at a wrap shop - ridiculous! If you're black and have good taste save yourself the hassle and find somewhere genuinely hospitable and reputable. These guys are degenerates.

Favourite mixed mezze in London!

Very busy place with a simple menu. Falafel or chicken shawarma wraps are served here fast and fresh and for only 4.50£. Mixes mezze with chicken is only 7.50£

Went for lunch on Saturday and got the mezze and it was HUGE! The £10 lunch deal was incredible and could definitely have been shared between 2 - and drinks were reasonably priced too!!

The staff consistently demonstrate unacceptable rudeness, leading to frequent disappointment during my visits. It is imperative for the owner to implement professional training for the staff. This place is always very popular! I’ve visited multiple times and tried both the falafel and chicken wraps. Definitely worth the price and very filling. I would recommend the falafel wrap but I did not like the quality of the chicken at all. They did not seem particularly receptive to requests of extra garlic and chilli sauce in the wraps either..

So. Much. Food. Hard to resist the potatoes but the wraps alone are huge. I’ve only ever had the falafel ones but they’re great. The drinks are simple but delicious. I went there early today to beat the queue, drive home and have a delicious lunch but ended up eating in the car because my stomach overpowered my brain. Best lunch in ages.

As always the best falafel wraps in the area. The only thing is the staff should improve their hands hygiene. We saw one guy grabbing a box with his hands, without taking the globes off, before preparing our wrap. It was not hygienic at all.
