F & B's Fish & Chip Restaurant & Takeaway in East Riding of Yorkshire

Visited today with my family. I ordered a fish cake and was looking forward to lovely crispy batter with white fish and a Scollop inside but no I was served this frozen disgusting piece of thing!

After a strenuous day sailing I was looking forward to getting some local fish n chips so called in. The staff attention was okay and sort of helpful but the fish batter was under cooked and chips looked like they had been cooked yesterday. This is advertised as a "50 seater cafe" but only two tables in view and was just given a plastic fork, no knife. So won't ever go back.

Food is average. Service is poor almost had to wake the "young lad" up. Had to prompt for kids drinks, then to be pulled off the side and luke warm when it was 30c outside. No tea or cofee with the adult meals... Most recent hygeine rating from 3 years ago! Would not reccomend.

Called in on Sunday with my nephew for lunch... 2 young ‘lads’ where ‘running’ the restaurant. Very disjointed, tables not cleaned once vacated and not very good communicators whilst ordering our food. The fish and chips are great but unfortunately they don’t do a small portion for people with lower appetites or children who would like fish. The pot of tea for 2 that was ordered had to be prompted for 10 minutes after the fish and chips had been delivered to the table. I would eat from here again without a doubt... would have to think twice about using the restaurant part of the business.

We were in Bridlington for the day and spotted F&B's which was open on a Sunday. Staff were very friendly and the chips were lovely. We walked the short distance to the pier to eat them. They have a few seats as you walk in and a restaurant which wasn't open when we visited out of season.
