I had the most delicious dish called "Nepalese hash butuwa" and it was amazing!! The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. Probably the best Nepalese/Indian restaurants I've been to!! The wine is quite nice too.

My wife and I visited this restaurant on Saturday without a prior reservation. The place was fully booked, and when I requested a table from a staff member, he initially declined. I asked if that meant we had to leave without dinner, and at that moment, the manager, Gagan, stepped in. He somehow managed to arrange a table for us, and we truly appreciated his effort. We absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere. I understand that weekends can be busy, and sometimes, waiting for quality food is worth it. A big thanks to Gagan and his team for making our dining experience wonderful! Highly recommend

We took our kids for the first time tonight and they loved it. Our food was amazing and the staff were so helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Although the food here is good, the wait times are ridiculous, you end up waiting 45 minutes just for popadoms. They have such a small number of overworked staff that mistakes in orders are common, and they let in so many people to “wait for a table” that it turns more into a bar atmosphere than a restaurant.

We have dined in and collected takeaways from Everest over the years but it’s taking longer and longer to receive your food. Last night it took 1hr 15 mins from order to receiving our order in the restaurant and the last time a takeaway was ordered and collected it was 45 minutes late. Saying that the food is always excellent. It’s just frustrating to be sat in the restaurant and seeing the same food delivery drivers coming and going up to 3 times while you’re waiting for one disk. Everest should decide whether they are a takeaway or a restaurant. They are trying to be both and from our experience falling short on both which is a shame

As always great food and wonderful service. Our favourite place as a family to have a curry. Kandar and Gavin were great hosts and made sure everything was perfect.

Sudan, pagan were excellent and very friendly. Lovely smiles and great manners... We don't just come in for the food but to see our friends too...

We ordered a Valentine's takeaway from here as we never go anywhere else for a curry. I am SO disappointed with the service we received. We ordered at 5.30pm for an 8pm delivery as we thought it would be busy. After waiting 30 mins my Husband called and they said it was ready but no driver. He checked that all the curries were paneer. Another 30 mins went by and then it finally came - only to find out it was a Prawn korma. All well and good sending a bottle of red to apologise but I'd rather have had the correct order. Very disappointed

Excellent food with plenty of choice for both meat eaters and vegetarians. The staff are always really friendly and accommodating. We were quite a big group last night, but I have been before with just one friend or with my children and each time was perfect.

We normally eat in here and not been disappointed. However, tonight we had a takeaway. We ordered at just after 6 pm for 7.30 delivery. It turned up at 8.30 and needed reheating in the microwave. I don’t think it saw a fresh ingredient both dishes like tomato soup spiced up. Very disappointing. £36 down. I’ll be having a Charlie Bigham’s in future, way better quality at a quarter of the price. Sorry won’t be using again.

We’ve been loyal Everest customers for 4 years, but enough is enough. We no longer order bhajis or samosas as we can get them 3 times the size, and 10 times better at the market. Prices have gone too far. Our “go to” order was usually about 40 quid, now it’s almost 60. Delivery now comes in a ridiculous bag which must cost a fortune and as such they put the prices up and delivery up. Food is great, but there comes a point when you just have to say no. Sorry Everest, we’re gonna have to let you go.

Dined in for the first time at this place after a friend's recommendation. Very busy Saturday evening, the restaurant was packed, staff were very attentive and helpful. Ordered, Chilli Paneer - Very good Lamb Chops - Very good Prawn & Channa Poori - Good Paratha - Too dry and like papad. Garlic Naan - Good Himalayan lamb and Chicken curry - Both were not spicy enough for us and the consistency was too thick, informed the staff about this and the chef went all the way to make 2 new curries with the correct spice level and packed it for us to take home. Highly Impressed with the service. Thank you ! Dessert - Good Overall very impressed with the service more than the food itself.

Lovely food however some items a little overpriced - can recommend the masala chips - naan could have been a bit more substantial

I ordered in good time as we was out at 6:30pm and asked if we could have it for 8:00pm so I gave the restaurant 1 and half hour to prepare and deliver I even rang to say 8pm please, it turned up at 8:35 so over 2 hours from when I ordered not pleased

Always good to try something a little different. Environment very good, food very interesting and good too. Have been a couple of times and would not hesitate to return next time in town.

2.5hr wait for a delivery and cold food!!!! Won’t be going here again, which is a shame as I’ve eaten inside a lot and generally had a good meal. You need to sort your service out Everest or you’ll lose a lot more customers.

Often choose this place as our go to but absolutely disappointed tonight. Order was an hour late and missing a key main course. Didn’t eat until 10pm despite ordering at 730pm. Not impressed and not sure we will order again!

Wrong meat. Gave us lamb instead of chicken gurkhali

OK so sometimes things get missed off orders, we all understand that. But it's a bit much when mentioned to the delivery driver who doesn't seem that fussed and you don't get the item delivered at all.

Went Saturday night, first time for a year. We had not been for a year because the service previously was so painfully slow. This time....even worse. Ordered at 8.20pm, got the starter at 9.25, the main course at 10.30. This was despite chasing it up 5 times. The table next to us left after having just a poppadom in 90 minutes. I think our food was eventually good, but by then we were so hungry, anything would have done...

We will not be returning. We used to love this restaurant but they seem to have expanded seating without increasing their kitchen / service capacity. We hadn't been in over a year due to the ridiculous wait time for the food last time we visited. We decided to give it another go with friends on Sat eve (only 6 of us so not a big party) our table was booked for 8pm, at 10.30pm we were still chasing up our food! The people on the table next to us walked out as they got fed up waiting. We were offered a drink due to the wait and they didn't even bring them all. There are so many better Indian restaurants in Grantham that value their customer experience.

Took 1 and a half hours to get the food and a phone call to the restaurant, when the food came it was cold and chicken was very chewy.

Looked forward to this meal which was for a special celebration. It was delivered 20 minutes late so had to be reheated! Onion bhaji had no mint raita main dishes were very good but as I said had to be reheated. So sorry but cannot recommend.

Really like this place. Food has always been excellent. Chicken chilli chicken starter and chicken dhansak main is 10/10. Like all Indians eating in is a better option, but the takeaways we’ve had have been good too. I definitely recommend this place. .

It may just be because it was a busy night but it's the first time we had tried it and the tikka tasted like creamy tomato soup (but I find all Indian in grantham are the same for that) but the passanda was beautiful

Awful from start to finish!!!!.. Service was awful, food not good. My friend had Chicken Tikka Masala, the sauce was so runny & looked liked tomato soup, she commented she had never had this dish tasting like this. My Bhuna was so bland compared to other Bhuna's I have had. Lime pickle tasted like they had tipped a pot of salt in it. Everytime I required a drink, we had to get their attention, not one member of staff actully asked us if we would like a drink even when the glasses were empty! I asked for a hot wipe, like you always get in an Indian after a meal , only to be told we don't have those & go to the toilet to wash your hands !!!! After the main meal, we were not asked if we would like dessert or coffee so we just left. I would never revisit again, it is a shame as this used to be a lovely place. I can see why the place was so empty!

Arrived at the stated time to collect a take away.I had to wait 20 minutes for the food to be ready, not what I’d expected. The food was good. No poppadums or pickles though.

food was Luke warm when delivery, poor quality and very tasteless.

First time had to call to chase delivery, then called as missing a rice, then called again as one of the dishes was completely wrong! Ordered a lamb dish (don’t eat chicken) and what arrived was chicken. After waiting for an hour and half from ordering to delivery to get wrong food. They sent new out and arrived at 2145, just shy of 2 hours from ordering. Never usually have an issue with Everest but today was just an absolute shambles.
