Having uncertainty of what was halal , Alex who we had the pleasure of looking after us tonight went above and beyond to re-assure us which ones we will be having and how they won’t be bringing to the table meat that is not halal. This restaurant is a great experience for both large parties and intimate events with attentive and friendly staff, amazing food and drinks, and a beautiful setting. All of the staff members who tended to our party today were welcoming and more than happy to accommodate our needs. The restaurant offers a variety of options in regards to both mains and sides as well as an extensive drinks menu.

My first time to there was an amazing atmosphere and experience Alex helped us dine in very friendly definitely suggesting this place to my family and friends. Cannot wait to come back and dine again.

Very relaxing evening for our wedding anniversary on a Sunday night, made all the better with the warm welcome received on entry. 4 stars for food, would be 5 with a better salad option. Atmosphere 4 - it’s Sunday at 6.30pm it’s never going to be 5 :-) Great staff and aleats enjoy the meal.

I visited today with two friends. Couldn’t fault the food and service. Salad is to die for and the meat just kept on coming. Absolutely delicious and staff couldn’t have been better. Would definitely recommend if you are in Durham.

Service was not great, took a significant amount of time to be served drinks / food. One guest chose the fish option and didn’t actually get the fish. Fortunately, plenty of good salad and the response to issues we had was great - resolved straight away. Probably would have been less than 4 stars but put it up due to the friendliness from Matthew and Alex.

I just loved Alex. Gave us a lovely river view, helped me with alternative drinks and just had a super attitude. Marked a star down due to running out of Malbec! But a great meaty fun spot for carnivores. Alex, great example of customer service. We loved our visit.

Katie greeted us very professionally and explained the concept well, she gave my wife a free cocktail for her birthday which was super appreciated!! The food is incredible! The minted lamb was phenomenal, tip, don’t fill up on carbs! The meat is too good to miss! Also get a Guarana soft drink, wow! Super refreshing!! We will be back, again and again and again!

Went for the halal lunch menu. The food was lovely and service was great. They bring different meats out for you and cut it on the table for you. Every 5 to 10 minutes or so they were coming out with a different meat. They also had a salad bar with great options. Absolutely love this place. My new favourite spot. Special shout out to Katie as well, amazing service. Will definitely be back soon with a large group.

We've been back many times since the restaurant opened and they just never miss! We usually tend to go for lunch on a Sunday, and while the location can get busy the service is always fabulous. You never feel like you have to wait! Not to mention, the view of the riverside! Stunning location with great decor and amazing food and service. Solid 10/10 all round. We do miss the mango and shrimp salad! Hopefully that comes back :)

Very enjoyable visit to Estabulo. Very friendly and attentive service. Ridizio service when gaucho waiters bring different cuts of meat to the table is superb. The only difficult decision was when to pause and gave a break. Very friendly. Great value for money.
