Nice food , huge chicken satay with reasonable price. Good portion for main . I would recommend if you like traditional Thai food with small and cosy atmosphere. We will definitely back again .

4 of us were there last night (12.07.24), inpromptu. EVERY dish was so very tasty - phenominal meal..!! Excellent service by all staff and we shall certainly visit again 👌 👏👏👏

We had the set lunch which was quite good. The issue was the waitress. She was in a bad mood and acted like we were a major inconvenience. She glared at us and looked angry and resentful. We tried to be friendly and asked her some questions but she rudely rebuffed and ignored us. She made us feel unwelcome and we decided to leave and not have dessert. It was peak lunchtime at the weekend and this restaurant only had 3 tables occupied.

Absolutely terrible. Do not waste your breathe.

Disappointed with food, fish cake was microwaved, nothing was tasting like Thai food. It was really pathetic and our lunch date was ruined due to bad food. We had food poisoning. Not going to this place again. Please avoid by all means.

Foods was salty. We ordered a few starters & main dishes one of them a Thai fishcake, I was very disappointed because it WASN'T homemade I could tell that was a factory made from oriental supermarket!!! Staffs were unfriendly 👎 we won’t return and not recommended.

Absolutely delicious authentic Thai food. The restaurant feels family run warm informal warm atmosphere with wood panelling. Definitely coming back again!

My "go-to" Thai restaurant in Epsom. They have good lunch deals. The only reason i don't like this place is that it makes me break my diet because the food is so good and tempting 😊

The food was amazing. But it was late and as ever, delivery courier didn't read the note added to the order. Instead of looking at the note, I had to chase him up and down the road. He didn't acknowledge when I showed him the note.

We have sat in before and had a lovely lunch, so we were excited to order a home delivery. However when it arrived it was pretty lacklustre. The prawns and chicken were tough, and the sauce (red curry and green curry) wasn’t as creamy and delicious as when we sat in. We were pretty disappointed, and won’t be rushing back.

Epsom Thai offered poor customer service as they cancelled an order of 2 green curry I placed today 6th Dec. I’ve used my previous order here to write this review in the hope they don’t treat other so badly in the future.

A friend said we should give this place a go, so we went without booking one Saturday evening...and the food was fantastic! ;) I decided to have a starter and went for a Mu Ping (marinated pork skewers). The meat was perfectly grilled on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside...the dipping sauce was also nice. It was a decent portion, too, with 3 good-sized skewers! I could have eaten more of them! For my main, I had a chicken Massaman curry with coconut rice, and it was very tasty indeed! The sauce had a lovely savoury, but coconut sweet taste to it, and there was a ton of chicken and veg in there also...the perfect portion size for me! There was loads of rice too, and it had a nice sticky and sweet flavour about it, which accompanied the more savoury curry perfectly! A very big dish and I just about ate it all! This restaurant is an easy 5 stars...the food is brilliant and the all female staff are relaxed and professional. You feel at home here, plus the restaurant has a lovely wooden interior. So, fancy a decent Thai? Then look no further than here...it's one of the best in the area! ;D

This is a proper Thai restaurant. I’ve been to many Thai restaurants in the UK since travelling Thailand and none are better than here! Really authentic and the food is absolutely unreal! The panang curry is an absolute must! Thank you Thai Epsom for a beautiful experience! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Made reservations for my daughter's 13th birthday dinner & we were not disappointed! The restaurant surprised us with a 'Happy birthday' banner & balloons set up at our table. The food was great and the portions huge! At the end of our dinner, the restaurant again surprised us by playing my daughter a 'Happy birthday' song & brought her a scoop of ice cream with a candle on it! All the birthday extras came at no additional cost, it was all on the house! We were all blown away! Would definitely recommend Epsom Thai Restaurant!

So went for tea after work with a colleague. The place is ok a little dark and tired looking but that’s not an issue. Ordered Gai soup, nice and tasty, not enough heat for me but perfectly acceptable. Plenty of chicken etc. would have been better if the lemongrass had been finely sliced or even strained, removing large pieces was a bit of a nuisance. Ordered Kra Prow Pork for main; again no where near enough heat, and pork was a little tasteless. The biggest issue was the grease on the food, absolutely dripping in oil, which killed and texture and a lot of flavour. Asked for plain noodles with fresh chilli, but got another plate with noodles and vegetables again rather tasteless. Sad really because the ladies were attentive service was good. Can’t say I’ll be rushing back thou

This order was never delivered ! I got no call from whoever the delivery man or woman was and I can see the app has marked it as delivered! Sort it out asap!

Portion sizes are very small , and my red beef curry had 4 tiny bits of beef and full of cucumber and red pepper to try and bulk up the half empty container . Rice overcooked ! I’ll be seeking a refund

I’ve come to this place for probably about a decade. Something seems to have changed in the last year or two. Possibly a change in management, or just staff. Either way, things aren’t as they used to be. Service a bit poor. Food mediocre. The majority of the dishes in the vegetarian section of the menu aren’t vegetarian. On the most recent visit, I had a conversation with staff about ingredients in their curries and the manager advised that they buy their green/red Thai curry sauce pre-made from a factory and just add the relevant protein for each portion. Definitely not the same quality as it was a decade ago.

We had the chicken mussaman curry, tamarind duck and tilapia in sweet chilli sauce with steamed rice. Delicious as always, served by friendly & helpful staff. This is one of the best Thai restaurants I've eaten in.

Was disappointed with the quality of the food. Pad Thai was bland and tasteless; chicken was dry and rubbery, prawns were still in their shells and also rubbery, only two prawns in the dish. Spring rolls were small and mostly empty. Wouldn’t order again, instead I would spend more and order from Camille Thai.

Ordered chicken cashew and chicken in garlic and ground pepper. It was bland. The chicken was so chewy that my daughter had difficulty eating it and just spat out. Seems chicken was old or either cooked repeatedly. Not worth the price.

Amazing food, efficient and friendly servers and very reasonable prices - what more could you ask for? My friend and I visited for an early dinner on a quiet Wednesday evening and were happily accommodated without a booking. We had the prawn tempura and chicken satay skewers for starters followed by chicken panang curry with sticky rice and prawn pad thai. Everything was delicious with really generous portions. Definitely would return!

Lovely warm welcome from the owners, was pretty popular for a Tuesday night but not busy at all! The food was incredibly tasty and fresh, best chicken satay's I've ever eaten by a mile! Had the 2-person set menu but sadly we were absolutely stuffed so couldn't finish it. At the end they didn't add service charge and very politely asked if we'd tip, most definitely!!

Prices here seem to have increased a lot! Too expensive now.

Me and my partner visited here this evening for the first time. We are both big fans of Thai food so we thought we would check it out before we move out of the Epsom area. We wish we had found this place sooner, a lovely little restaurant with great food, service and cleanliness. We were greeted by very friendly staff, and the food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. My partner had the massaman curry and she said it’s the best one she’s ever had. I had some too and it was just incredible. The portion sizes were good, the food standard was really high, the food didn’t take too long even though it was busy, and the atmosphere was great. It was quite busy and the lady waiting our table apologised profusely for not cleaning our table quicker but this really wasn’t a problem at all. We couldn’t fault our experience. Also great value for money! Will definitely visit again to try other dishes 😍 Thank you Epsom thai for a great evening.

A group of us visited the red while in the area on business and had a fantastic meal. The food was tasty and flavoursome with just the right amount of heat. The staff were friendly and the service was great.

Chicken and cashew nuts and rice was dry and without flavour. Worst main course I’ve had from there.

We are keen Thai Cuisine enthusiasts but after our favorite venue in Stonecote Hill near Sutton closed, we'd not found another that came close to their standards until last night. Epsom Thai appeared several years ago and we'd driven past on the Epsom one-way system 00's of times but not called in.....what a mistake that was. Last night was our first experience, we thoroughly enjoyed our dishes which exhibited fresh vibrant flavors, were well presented and generously portioned, priced reasonably with great service and friendly staff. Interiors are authentic Thai and add to the experience. Great restaurants need to be supported and this one really delivers. Thanks for a great experience.

We were lucky enough to ask if they could make us traditional Thai meals rather than adding an english twist on it. They looked after us very well and we really enjoyed the meals.

Lovely atmosphere n authentic Thai food

Had a lovely lunch here. My friends who lives in the area recommended me to try it . 3 of us when and it didn't disappoint. We had the express lunch deal. 2 courses for £10.95. But for seafood is £2 extra. Starter we picked chicken satay, Dim Sums & corn cakes. The starter comes as 2 pieces for each items. I had seafood "Rad Na" noodle. My friends had chicken "Rad Na" this is a thick noodles with gravy & vegs. My other friends had Pad Thai. My friends had dinner here many times too & they said they always enjoy it and its there best Thai food in Epsom. I agree & me being Thai often get a bit disappointed if it's not authentic enough. Big clean place with friendly staff. The ice tea with cream was nice too. I will be going back again when am back in the area.

A super meal brought back memories of our honeymoon in Thailand

Epsom Thai is delicious. An intimate restaurant with scrumptious Thai food. The space is large but not overwhelming nor crowed even at near capacity. The staff are friendly and the food arrived in good time. The food itself is really good and well prepared. There is a good ambiance about the place and no outside noises can be heard. We're definitely returning to try more dishes.

Got this restaurant mixed up with My Thai. Can't comment on Epsom Thai.

Tried as alternative to chinese. We ordered dumplings, curry, pad Thai and chicken cashew. All very very bland. Edible and filling so can't complain. But if you want taste, maybe try somewhere else

I'm a fairly regular customer of Eosom Thai and this was my first visit since the pandemic started sixteen months ago. My friend & I enjoyed a lovely meal as the food is always tasty, and the service was polite & efficient. Highly recommended.

Super friendly staff! We called before arriving to ask if we can bring our dog with us because we are not from the local area and was craving so much on Thai food. The staff was super nice and said if the dog is on leash then we are good. We had the best Thai food experience! All the dishes we’ve had are all so delicious. Give it a try if you haven’t!

We used to love this restaurant and before they closed because of lockdown we ordered from then on average once a week. Great food, it wasn’t always perfect but by far the best Thai restaurant in the local area. We were so pleased they had reopened and decided to order from them again. Unfortunately I can’t comment on the food because we never received it. The restaurant used to use its own delivery drivers but now uses Uber Eats who apparently picked up our order at 7:20pm and at the time of writing (1h 10mins later) the food still hasn’t arrived. We are now 2 hours after placing the order. Uber Eats claim to have delivered it. Outrageous. While I sympathise with the restaurant as they supposedly did cook this mystery food, at the end of the day I as the customer wasn’t given what I ordered. We complained and the restaurant offered to remake the order again at a 20% discount which was very nice I suppose but I kind of object to paying twice for a meal for the benefit of eating it 2 hours after I was supposed to. And we all know Uber Eats are not going to refund the money (just see reviews of theirs to see how terrible their customer service is). While I do not wholly blame the restaurant, ultimately it is their choice whether or not to use this appalling delivery service and while they continue to do so I will never order from them again. Epsom Thai you have just lost a loyal customer so I suggest you sort this out sharpish.

In times of Lockdown it gets very tempting to try takeaways. If that urge gets you, best avoid Epsom Thai. Ours was pretty appalling and most ended up going straight into the bin.

The most Traditional Thai food that I have experienced in the UK. I used to live in Thailand and find the British pallet boring. Here I could choose & eat traditional Thai food.

Really tasty meal and pleasant service. We had the tempura prawns, green thai prawn curry and Panang chicken curry which were all delicious. Panang curry is quite spicy so perfect if you like it like that. One issue we would say is that the tables are not all spaced that far apart and there are no barriers so it did not feel that Covid secure. Another party were seated at a table too near us so we asked to move which was fine as the restaurant was relatively quiet at the time. Overall we had a lovely evening.

Best Thai I’ve had. My mum and I go in for the express lunch as often as we can. It’s very fairly priced and the food is just mouth watering! The chicken satay and grai tiem is amazing! Highly recommend.

The food is different to normal Thais in a good-different kind of way. Still authentic style but different taste and look which seems more quirky than innovative. The staff aren't particularly chatty, but then it does get busy sometimes. Been here a couple of times and there are other Thais I prefer to this one, and the prices here are slightly higher than other Thais. The restaurant is quite quaint but could do with a complete refurbishment, everything from the tables to the menus could do with replacing than just a lick of paint. Overall seems like a standard kind of restaurant that is more just a place for eating than a place to dine.
