Although it doesn't look much from the outside, this is a great little cafe which does good breakfasts. I was staying in a local hotel but chose to come here every day for breakfast, having poached eggs on toast one day, small English breakfast the next and vegetarian breakfast the third day. The fact that is was really buzzing on Saturday morning shows how popular with local people it is. Would come again.

This cafe lies just to the North of the High Street. It does all the usual large variety of dishes you would expect in a cafe. On the face of it I thought £5 was rather expensive for a cheese Jacket Potato but the one I was given was massive, really nice and fluffy covered in cheese and with a sizeable and fresh side salad. It was excellent.

I am delighted to see the open of a new cafe which does English Breakfast on Barnet High Street. Enjoy Cafe is located at the top end of the High Street and it's just a couple minutes walk from the Spires Shopping Centre. I came here on a Monday morning and there were just a couple of customers inside. It was a typical cafe that do English Breakfast, Omelette, Burgers, Pies, Panini...etc. I went for a Full English plus an extra egg, which also came with 2 slices of toasts and a cup of tea (cost £7.40). The food were average, nothing really went wrong but was nowhere near the best I've eaten. For example. bacon wasn't crispy enough. The fired eggs, mushrooms and baked beans were not cooked long enough. The sausage (there was only one) was a bit too dry and overcooked. The hash browns were mushy and not crispy. But I think I was just being too fussy as I compared it with somewhere else where I had eaten better. The staff was helpful, the chef was polite as he came out and said thank you. The price was right too. It's not perfect but it's still better than "The Coffee Beans" (inside the Spires), in terms of both food quality and price. I will return and hope the cooking will improve next time.

I had heard this restaurant was ‘really nice’, I dined here this week with my family and as fellow Greeks we are disappointed with our experience. The food is ok (overcooked to be honest) and it is WAY overpriced! £17 for chicken souvlakia (gyros not on the menu but they don’t mention this until you’re there). It doesn’t come with chips or salad. They claim is comes with salad - you get 1/4 slice tomato, 2 thin rings of onion and 2 slices of cucumber sliced into quarters. We actually asked ‘where is the salad?’ and we were told that was it..I’m sure they knew that’s not a salad, anyone who has been to Greece or Cyprus would know this isn’t how we give salad!! Moving on..if there are 8 people on the table and you serve two tiny portions of pitta bread that is cut in quarters so not even forming a whole pitta - that is. Or enough. You size the portion according to how many people are eating and you certainly don’t charge extra for more bread (they did and Nissi doesn’t do this). Our total bill was over £200 and it was not worth it at all, we only booked here because Nissi is now closed on Tuesdays and thought let’s try somewhere new instead of Deserie - a mistake. It also shouldn’t be £4.50 for a Coke Zero! Service was ok, a tad slow considering we were the only people in their dining. Overall whoever is reading this, don’t bother, I wouldn’t go back. Go to Nissi, they have a much bigger menu, friendlier staff, better atmosphere and much better value for money! Oh and also, they tried to mark my reservation on open table as a ‘no show’ because I left a review…I have my receipt so don’t try that!

Just popped in here for a quick coffee. It was so good I had to have another, then, I saw the food delivered to the table next to me and had to order that too! All I can say is the food and the coffee were both miles better than you would ever get in a chain coffee shop.

A revisit that I wished hadn’t happened. A tatty cafe offering tatty food! The only thing I fancied here was a bottle of water. Never again. Do yourself a favour a find somewhere else, I’d rather buy a sandwich at Tesco and eat it in the park.
