if you want a typical English Breakfast then this is the place locally to go. Cooked to perfection plus a good variety of other English dishes too.

Was working in Elmers end briefly and went there once following a referral from a friend and I have to say my work colleagues and I were not disappointed - lovely big breakfast and everything was spot on so we went back each day we were there - fortunately I can get the tram there as well - one of the few old school decent cafes in London - well recommended . hardworking couple that run it too really nice genuine people.

Good cafe mainly word of mouth, you builders and general members of the public. Peter is always friendly and you can have Chinese or English food.

This is a workers cafe that serves hearty fare at good prices. But you can eat well here as the food is very good. The owner, Peter, is a Chinese gentleman and the menu is a mixture of English and Chinese. Peter has run this cafe since 1980 and many of his clientele are long term regulars, some of them from the very beginning. So he must be doing something right! Note that the cafe closes at around 2pm. I particularly liked the beef curry with rice and chips - a colossal plateful for a mere five quid.

This is a workers cafe offering excellent food at very good prices. The owner, Peter, has run this cafe since 1980 and counts some of his regulars right back to the very beginning. The menu is a mixture of both English and Chinese dishes. I liked the beef curry with rice and chips. Just sit back, enjoy the food and read one of the complimentary newspapers. The place closes around 2pm so don't be late.

Really good little coffee shop. Very unassuming run by a gentleman called Peter, but a very funny man, serves good decent grub.

Bickley wouldn't be the same without Ted's and my Saturday mornings wouldn't be the same without a coffee at Ted's. The coffee is consistently great and service is always friendly.

Moved local recently. Best chip shop compared to close competitors. Chips are fluffy and niceee with a good amount of salt on, fish is how it should be and lastly the vinegar is proper vinegar. Especially the onion vinegar is proper tasting…unlike others is the area which only put liquid air on the chips.

We used to live 30 seconds away and always said the parade of shops needed a cafe. If we still lived in the area, we’d be in here all the time. I had the smash avocado toast with a twist and my wife had a set breakfast with a few changes. Cooked really well and the bill was very reasonable. Coffee was also really good. Spotlessly clean and the air-con means you don’t leave smelling like fried food. Despite now living 20mins away with cafes near us, we’ll be back here to support this great new little cafe.

I booked a table for 28 for my husbands birthday we had the function took which is located downstairs, the venue to beautiful and well put together The service is excellent some of the best service ever The food Is lovely and tasty with decent portion sizes My only negative comment on food would be that the party menu at 39.99 each although it meant we have full exclusive use of the function room inside feel the options were a Good variation I think they could include Chicken wings or another meat option to the starter party menu That being said the food was delish and cocktails very tasty We had booked in advance for 28 but when we arrived there wasn’t enough chairs or tables so had to wait for half an hour or so for this but didn’t cause a massive issue as we stood around for a while chatting before food orders were taken Would I recommend….100% we would def go again and sit in main restaurant upstairs Thanks again Pera
