Elite Mediterranean in Wirral

Went for a meal with partner, had had a hard day, we usually love this place but this visit not so much. Food is always gorgeous and service but two lads that the staff knew were just hanging around, smoking at the front outside then just hanging around right next to our table, just ruined the atmosphere and mood. For a restaurant and the price just think chatting and having friends or family just hanging around the guests is poor

A hidden gem. This place ticks all the right boxes and well worth a visit. There was a group of six of us and all dishes were cooked to perfection. Well done guys!

Went for first time for birthday party ...very small restaurant ...rubbish background music ...very very expensive and not big portions ...drinks are overpriced too ...cocktails tiny would I go again ...nope ....

Lovely food, nice atmosphere the only things what spoiled it for me is that the bill included service charge and we were charged £2.90 for a glass of sparkling water that I thought for that price at least would have been in a bottle instead it was either draft or poured out of a larger bottle. Still enjoyed the food and would go again but would not get the sparkling water.

Totally overated. I would rather go go to Continental by tesco who I hate. Do your self a favor goto to heron foods for a banquet

The food was delicious and service was really quick. I had the hummus to start with bread followed by chicken shish and my husband and MIL had the Elite special for two. Came with plenty of fresh, warm bread to share. We left feeling very full! Would definitely return.

Absolute gem of a place, food excellent, service excellent ate there quite a few times now and we will certainly be eating there again..

We were the only customers ordering food, stater of garlic mushrooms put in front of us on a cold plate then waited 7 minute for bread which still didn:t appear. Have eaten there before and service terrible but food okay. Tonight service was diabolical. Avoid

Further to my last review in 2021 when I said let’s see if it stands the test of time We’ll 2023 and it’s still going Owner still the same Went in the afternoon and the foods well better than the evening menu Got Lamb Souvlaki Delicious .Cheaper than going the kebab house . Would recommend . Good prices .

Went here for my Mum’s birthday. We all had a lovely time, the portions were great sizing, very filling and cooked beautifully. Highly recommend the Elite special for one which is a mixed meat meal. Inside decor is really cool, good lighting levels and also beautiful artwork dotted around.

THE best food ever ! The flavours are fantastic, the cocktails are amazing and the staff friendly and welcoming. We are currently sat here, full to the brim and soaking up the atmosphere with their live singer. Couldn't ask for a better night with friends. We would all recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Had a lovely meal with family for my birthday

Food was really nice. Sat by the window and many staff sitting outside smoking with the smell wafting in. Service seemed slow and not really busy but the food was worth the wait. Did feel rushed from approximately 9.30 to finish our drinks as they stacked the chairs next to where we were seated. Maybe going early tea time and sitting away from the door area would be better

We booked for an evening meal, and were really impressed. We chose the sharing platter, which came with bread, dips and salad. Just loads of different charcoal-grilled meats, with rice and chips too. It beat us in the end, but what a way to go! We followed with the baclava, just enough sweetness after the main course. Also really friendly, but unobtrusive, service. This place is right on our doorstep, so very tempting to go more often! So if you're looking for Mediterranean/Greek cuisine, buy with confidence. 5*.

Met friends for dinner a couple of weeks ago. First time visit. Really excellent service, great menu and tasty food at reasonable prices. Will be back.

My wife and I ate here again on Friday evening. Unlike the first time we didn't book and took a chance on getting a table. We weren't disappointed. Once again we had a delicious cocktail whilst waiting for our meals. Our orders arrived quite quickly and the food was first class. My wife had lamb moussaka and I had the lamb shish and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The staff are welcoming, friendly and really hospitable. We will be going again soon as we are dying to try more things off the exciting menu.

First time eating here had the large platter for two for starter and the elite special for main and it was all absolutely lovely and the staff are awesome too also the hummus was the nicest I've had

On the menu it says "please ask for vegan options" so I asked and the server said "sorry no vegan food" and walked away. Strange.

Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely fresh food, with a good selection to choose from. Nice, colourful and vibrant environment. Also had a nice baby changing area. Not the cheapest place in town but definitely worth a drop in.

Fantastic food in very comfortable surroundings. The decor is great, not fussy but creates a great atmosphere. I love the light shades! Pic provided. We didn't book, but walked in early evening on a Thursday no problem. This place is good though and worth booking ahead for. Service was friendly, attentive and nicely paced - not rushed, but we were not kept waiting. The menu provides lots of choice, including vegetarian options, and it is easy to work out vegan and allergen info from the menu. I had the calamari starter which was done just right - both crispy ond succulent. Chef knows what they're doing with seafood, clearly. For the main course I went for the Lamb Guvech which was delicious. My dining partner had Lamb Iskender which I am told was also excellent. Portion sizes are ideal for me - these are not mere tasters for foodies, nor a massive plateful challenge. It hit the goldilocks zone for me. Highly recommended.

Just Wow, from the minute we sat down, we felt in good hands. The food was gorgeous, the staff attentive and the ambience was perfection. We both commented that we felt like we was on holiday. We sampled their excellent cocktail menu which definitely didn't disappointing, they were a little taste of heaven. Thankyou to each and every member of staff, you really made our evening

Wow...5 minute walk for us, and some of the nicest food we have had in a long time. Nice ambience, friendly staff, and incredible food. Not had a dish that we haven't loved. Very lucky to have on our doorstep.

We had 3 course meal, with cocktails. The food was amazing, the food was served with just enough gaps between courses. The staff were attentive without being overpowering. All in all a fabulous evening. Cocktails were divine.

Food was really good and tasty. Service wasn’t the best, they seemed a little under staffed. Asked for a couple of things which was forgotten about. Seemed to focus on the larger groups than smaller parties.

I have just recieved my takeaway from Elite! Let me tell you there's nothing Elite about this place! Please don't waste your money, iv been to Asma and go to Figos regular and thought I'd try somewhere new unfortunately I'd never go back. The food arrived cold, the meat was chewy, the chipss and filo cheese rolls were soggy and the hummus was definitely not homemade! What a disappointment.

Meat dishes padded out with too many veg . I had lamb guvech , 6-8 tiny sized pieces of lamb . Loaded with veg, at £16 or so a dish it was very overpriced . My son had a chicken dish which had cubes of bread ? Feel like they’re filling dishes out on the cheap . Have been before and left very disappointed, won’t be back

I would advice you to book. This restaurant was full to bursting, it is rather on the small size and you will get friendly with the people sitting beside you but it’s worth it. The food is amazing , as is the service. Would recommend and will go again

First time I have tried here, what a lovely place. Great food, just melt in the mouth, authentic and gorgeous flavours, said to my nephew that it felt like I was on holiday, mojito was spot on. No better than most cafes, and a bit upset to see one of the waiters pick up a piece of cutlery that a child had thrown on the floor then wipe it with a dirty cloth and put it back with the other cutlery, can't see me going back there anytime soon.

After booking for a large party of 7 adults 7 children for a birthday celebration, and ringing to confirm that this would not be a problem to cater, we were so disappointed with the extremely slow service, cold food, side orders came after the meal was finished, coffee took 20 min to arrive,and had to ask twice, the birthday cake had to be abandoned as the children were bored and tired of waiting after booking for 5pm we eventually left at 8.45 it took so long to be served,shame as this could be a nice addition to Moretons lack of resteraunts however I will not be going again ,as there wasn't even an apology.

I really enjoyed the place. We ordered hungry, lots of food so I would suggest to think about portion size. Food was excellent, staff were friendly. Others enjoyed it as well as the man next to us stood up and burped lol. I would recommend this place.

Shocking food and service please avoid visited on Sunday at 5.00pm had chicken wings for starter basically stringy chewy awful, lamb chops bloody greasy fatty horrible. No salt pepper or vinegar on table. Only 1 other table in while we were there and the service was extremely slow and nobody came and asked if meal was ok. Cold in there as back door open and only 1 toilet for both male and female. Not a very nice experience at all and definitely not worth paying them priced for that slop

Second time I have been where toilets have been blocked and you have to go to another restaurant two doors away to pee,. My lamb chops were good , wife’s chicken.less cold

Food was basic, expected a bit better for the price. Monkfish was incredibly dry and bland, perhaps too overcooked and didn't have the same texture as monkfish I have had previously. Starters were the best part, wish I had just had more of that than the main and desert. Had baklava for desert and was just 3 small pieces that you get in the the supermarket, not the proper traditional stuff you usually get in a restaurant or even the international supermarkets. Staff however were very friendly and service was good, hence the 3 stars. Don't regret going but wouldn't go again.

2nd time at elite ,1st time was mid week and service and food was great,but went last for.my wife's birthday with 6 people and the experience was not a good one,waited a long time for food and some was not hot,they got my mums order wrong and blamed her for ordering a starter as her main meal,and my daughter asked for two starters for her meal and waited just as long,£200 wasted in my opinion

Was so looking forward to visiting this restaurant as I hadnt been out since Covid began! The service was SO slow. We waited 45 minutes for our food after asking when we would be served. It came and the chicken was cold. We did complain...
