El Greco in Strabane

Food was disgraceful, got 2 pizzas and must of been a bowl of water threw onto the top to garnish. There was bones in the chicken pieces which child near choked on, will not be back

I ordered 2 pizza for myself and my wife can't complain at all were lovely and staff were very friendly will definitely return

That pizza was amazing guys,pepperoni sweetcorn onion chutney and gorgenzola... it didn't last long haha thanks a lot! Highly recomended!

I had high expectations when I came to El Greco and I was not disappointed. In fact, they surpassed my extremely high expectations.The service was extremely accommodating, we were greeted with very friendly staff and seen to straight away. The staff was lovely. Lovely decor with a warm, ambient atmosphere.The food was delicious and authentic, I could not fault it. I haven't tasted anything as tasty locally before. Portion sizes were very generous. The menu is very reasonably priced. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.Overall, I could not fault this eatery. I was thoroughly impressed and I have been back since and cant wait for my next visit.

My daughter and I went to El Greco on the Friday night and we were not disappointed the food here was truly amazing the staff were so friendly especially Emma who could not have done enough for both of us there was a great atmosphere in the restaurant I had the beef stroganoff & my daughter had the pasta Carbonara both of our foods were really delicious it was that good we went back on the Saturday night we had not booked but the made us both very welcome I had the chicken wings oh my they were amazing then I had a chicken dish & my daughter again had a different pasta dish both were amazing I could not recommend this place enough the owner was also such a lovely guy he give us both a dessert to take home with us.We will definitely be back Thankyou EL Greco

Staff are efficient and friendly. Food is always tasty and well presented. Nice surroundings. Wheelchair users would have to eat downstairs as there is no lift to upper floor.

Wonderful to have Greek food in Castlederg. The food for both of us was absolutely amazing, the setting and service splendid. There was a great ambiance, a great feel of the Mediterranean. It felt like being in a restaurant in Greece. Will be back regularly.

Great range of food to cater for all. All staff very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money. Would strongly recommend.

Had a beautiful steak here tonight kids had pizza and my husband had chorizo half pasta half garlic potatoes and we shared there chicken wings everything was delicious

There was about 40 friends n family from England ..Canada..Australia n Ireland what a fantastic meal we had.. The staff were excellent we were treated like royalty. . Would highly recommend El Greco family run business.brilliant.. ..Many Thanks Lucia n all her staff☺

Un po’ faticoso a capirci ma il personale è davvero molto disponibili. Abbiamo mangiato bene, carne e contorni buoni, idem per la pizza che hanno mangiato i nostri figli. Prezzi buoni. Sicuramente un po’ lenti nel servizio.

I had my daughter's 1st holy communion her on Sat 12th May 20 off us had selection of starters then a mixture of mains from steaks pastas burgers and Cod everything was amazing can not recommend this place enough

This was a last minute decision on way home from the airport to dine in this restaurant and it was an excellent meal, friendly staff and a great atmosphere from the local people in there.

El Greco does great takeaway food or you can sit in the choice is yours. They have a good menu. The pizza's in here are delicious done in a proper stone oven.

Dirty and disappointing. Use to be unbelievable but due to lack of cleanliness and new inexperienced staff it's just went downhill. Back door is always opened left unattended, god knows what could sneak in!!

4 of us went on a Sunday evening after a weekend away restaurant is well decorated. Very pleasant staff the food was very good. Drinks reasonable priced this was are first visit and the next time we visit castlederg we will definetly come again

I always find the food very tasty and fresh. We usually get takeaway and find there is lots of food.

This restaurant is a must absolutely beautiful very reasonable and the service and staff couldn't be better

Pedí una para llevar el domingo 30 de abril (color carne) sin embargo al tomar fraiche, casa y prueba, había un sabor muy amargo. No podía determinar si era procedente de la carne o la salsa. Llamé de vuelta y explicó el caso a la chica que contestó el teléfono, ella dijo que me dejaba hablar al chef. El chef femeninos, casi no me dio la oportunidad de hablar para explicar lo que estaba mal. Ella estaba demasiado ocupado hablando encima de mí diciendo que todo era fresco, ese día - la salsa, la carne, las patatas fritas. Era evidente algo obviamente no estaba fresca, cuando había un característico sabor. Después de que dijeron que todo estaba fresco y que no podía ser agria, numerosas veces, ella dijo que me haga algo. Le dije que regresaría al primer plato sólo para ver que no dejara que su efecto era algo malo. El plato fue devuelto, el chef dijo que iba a degustar, la sustitución, y la diferencia de dinero tenía que ser pedido. En este punto uno de los empleados más jóvenes se acercó al mostrador con el plato, me decía "sabor, sabor, no tiene nada de malo". Había sido la comida comestible, no me han devuelto y me explico a él! ! Salir de la tienda con el nuevo plato, hasta llegar a la puerta, el muchacho inexperto empezó a gritar desde el contador "venga aquí, volver, quiero hablar con usted! ! "Esta no es una manera apropiada para manejar una queja o hablar con un cliente. He comimos aquí muchas veces, ambos sentados en y tomar distancia, pero después de esto, no volveremos. Es absolutamente ridículo tratar a los clientes de pago de esta manera! Este establecimiento requiere un programa de entrenamiento de atención al cliente, para intentar eliminar esas experiencias para los clientes.

Me dieron una comida para llevar, que estaba mal y tuvimos que volver y era extremadamente decepcionado y disgustado con la forma del personal cuando volví. . . . . No había disculpa en absoluto y el joven gritó por la tienda después de mí....

Regularmente visitamos El Greco para sentarse y para llevar. Garantiza una sabrosa comida cada vez, probar algo nuevo!

Tuve dos visitas aquí este mes y ambas fueron increíbles. Las tapas son deliciosas e innovadoras. Los platos principales eran la crema de pollo, que es de primera clase fraiche y la carne crema se derrite en la boca. Sirven con patatas fritas crujientes de ajo y puré cremoso. El servicio es amable y eficiente. La selección de vinos es buena y el prosecco es increíble. Buena relación calidad-precio. ¡Me encanta!

Eaten here manys a time, whether sit in or takeaway. Some dishes you won't find anywhere, always consistent quality. Definitely try here, give your taste buds a nice experience....

We are fairly regular visitors to this restaurant you will not leave hear hungry the food is absolutely beautiful and there is a lot to choose from my favourite is the Parma chicken. The staff couldn't be nicer or helpful. The place is always busy so you might want to book on a Saturday evening. Definitely the best place to eat in Castlederg

El Greco is a well established family restaurant in Castlederg. Best place to go in the town, always guaranteed a great meal whether in the restaurant or take out!

We get a take away from here pretty much every time we head to Tyrone to visit my parents. It's definitely our favourite in the castlederg area. Good portion sizes and pricing is ok, (maybe slightly on the higher side). If getting a take away it's best to phone the order in as there can be quite a wait caused by the large number of orders and them making the food fresh. Favourites are beef stefado, sweet chilli chicken and their pizzas are very good. Only slight complaint is they don't have olives available as a topping on the pizzas? Odd given its a Greek restaurant.If getting take away, bring something to set the dishes on in the car on way home as the meals come very hot!

Excellent restaurant, food delicious with a wide variety on the menu. The night we were there it started out a very quiet evening but gradually got busier as the night went on but unfortunately there seemed to be only one member of staff waiting on tables, she coped very well but she would have needed at least another 2 waiters/waitresses to help. Would definately recommend this restaurant.

I love this place so much, nearly every week I get my chicken alpine with cheesy garlic bread pizza and I couldn't be happier when I do! Service is slow so order in advance!

This is a really exceptional restaurant, amazed to find it in Castlederg. The tapas are as good as you'll get in a Greek or Spanish restaurant in a major city like London. This is the best food I've had in Northern Ireland and the price is reasonable. Great Calamari, Patatas Bravas, etc. Only negative point is that the card machine wasn't working so bring cash.

Will definitely be back. It was my 1st time eating in here and it won't be my last. Loved everything we got.Well played chefs.

A new tapas menu has been developed by the young chef, Kosta. Six of us ate there and we ordered all 13 on the menu.They were delicious. Many were Greek and a few Spanish. The restaurant was very busy but service was quick and the waitress was very knowledgeable.Kosta actually sent up a few extra tapas that he is developing for the menu for us to try.£83 for 6 adults including a fair amount of alcohol was good value.It really was a good meal - we like the tapas format of dining. We will be back.

Beautiful setting, very impressive menu. Pizzas, pasta...my favourite! Food was tasty and well presented. Plenty of it too. The lady who owns it was very friendly and welcoming. Genuinely looking forward to going back.

We live twenty miles away but are happy to sidestep our local restaurants in favour of El Greco - especially if it a special occasion as the service is warm and welcoming and the food is always of a high standard. El Greco's has a calm and relaxing vibe with unobtrusive music which adds to the charm of the restaurant. Prices are very reasonable and portions large. Nothing is too much trouble and you are welcomed as valued customers and friends. We're already planning our next visit.

We have eaten at this restaurant on several occasions as it us local to us. We've always found the staff to be friendly and attentive and the food to be nice, it wouldn't be my first choice to go to as none of the meals ever offer veg with them so I find the plate of food dull and colourless rather than appetising.

We went as a family on Mothers Day. It was pre-booked. There was a set dinner menu ( quite a poor selection ). From the time we arrived at the restaurant until the time we left it took 2 hours 50 minutes.. there was a 55 minute interval between when our starter was finished and we got our main course. The restaurant was extremely quiet ( which explains alot). The service was awful. There was one Waitress on the floor and she kept hiding in the corner instead of making sure that everyone had their drinks filled or apologizing for the delay.There was a "Take Away" side to this restaurant and this seemed to be given priority. We were not impressed. The food quality was bland and as I said the choice was poor. Never again. It wrecked a family day out. Other tables left before dessert because they could not wait any longer. There was not monetary discount offered. We did not get the service we paid for.

El Greco is a family favourite, it's always consistently good, super tasty meals (with a special recommendation to get the chicken creme fraiche and chilli mash). Lucia and Stefan are the best hosts ever and you're always guaranteed great service.

Recently ate at El Greco on a Sat night. There was a 70th birthday party on, and to be honest the staff should just have not accepted any more customers as they were seriously under pressure. We sat at the bar and ordered our food and a bottle of wine. Almost an hour passed and the wine was nearly finished before we got our dinner. At one point I was asked did I want a salad with my dinner - maybe because we had waited so long? I am still waiting for the salad... I didn't remind them about it as I figured it would take another hour to arrive. When the food eventually did arrive it was quite disappointing - the fish was nice but the pasta was very dry and tasteless. I appreciate that perhaps we got them on a bad night, but my advice to other customers would be - if there is a large party dining then go somewhere else as you can expect the service to be poor.

El greco is a hidden gem! went to this restuarant serveral times and not once have i been let down. its a little taste of greece! the food is cooked to perfection i absoutely love the chicken creme fraishe, the steak in red wine jus and the cheesecake is to die for! excellent service and value for money! keep up the good work el greco!

The food was average. Staff unfriendly, unattentive and slow service. Would be better if they could manage a smile at least!Shame - menu seemed promising.Wouldn't return.
