me and my friend just walked out of Must Wine Bar and saw this place right across from it. It looked interesting with some outdoor tables and a little grocery store vibe, so we decided to stop for a drink. it really had that authentic Italian feel. The wines were good—white was a 9/10, red was a 7.5. The food at the table next to us looked super tasty, so we’ll definitely be back to try the menu! x

A fun local Italian cafe and coffee shop where you can buy a wide range of Italian food items. Gets busy on weekends but the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

I was wandering around London and arrived at Camden Passage a small pedestrian street that feels like a village outside the time and chaos of London. Here I found Egro', and was amazed at the authenticity of the food on offer, with products on the shelves from small companies and not big brands, the staff explaining everything and letting you taste everything. And then there's their wine selection! Unusual labels, wines that even in Italy are rare to find and prices that are almost unheard of in London. I invite everyone to come here and try it to believe.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Egrò for lunch with a friend of mine. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I had been transported straight to the streets of Italy. The warm and inviting atmosphere, coupled with the delightful aromas wafting through the air, immediately captivated my senses. The selection of Italian food in this shop is truly impressive. The owners have curated a collection of high-quality products that truly capture the essence of Italian cuisine. One more thing that sets this shop apart is the exceptional level of customer service. The knowledgeable and passionate staff members are always ready to offer suggestions, share their expertise, and engage in friendly conversations about the products. Their enthusiasm for Italian food is infectious, and they make every visit a memorable experience. I can't wait to come back again

Well this looked like a nice cafe and friendly staff at first. But the waitress made mistake after mistake and I found her abusive. First we were given a vegetarian lasagne not meat which we did not order and my child would not eat. Then a ricotta sandwich we did not order. The waitress insisted my child ordered it and was pointing at the section of the menu and telling me to ask them. There were no ricotta sandwiches on the menu and I made the order. Finally we had a tomato and mozzarella sandwich without basil as it should have had, which wasn't great. The arancini were good, coffee really bad. I didn't complain. Then they charged us for a dessert we did not have. The Manager did not charge for a coffee to make up. But while we were waiting to pay the waitress then screamed and shouted at my child "she ordered a ricotta sandwich" as she went past!. We were really upset. My child doesn't even know what ricotta is and I made the order, not her! She also slammed down the sandwich saying "here is your mozzarella sandwich" nastily. Finally when we left I saw they had even charged service. I thought you were meant to give customers a bill but they didn't. I asked for a receipt since it was contactless payment. It was a really upsetting, horrible experience not a nice lunch. When we arrived there were three staff and one customer, the waitress clearly could not handle taking even the most simple order and I found her anger was out of control. The Manager I think seemed nice and embarrassed by her behaviour but the whole thing was not handled properly.

My True Love and I happened to be the first customers when Egro London opened as a weekend pop-up in Dalston. What a find, worth it for the (Italian) brioche alone. And the West London-roasted coffee was excellent. A “unique selection” of food from “Your experiential grocery!” Is offered, it says in its super-enthusiastic, capital-letters, exclamation-mark kind of way, along with workspaces. The venue is stylishly decorated and retains the relaxing and surprisingly spacious rear garden set up by the previous occupant, a bar. Disabled people, especially those in wheelchairs, will find this venue difficult.

Pedí pizza en este restaurante y me la entregaron en casa, pero la pizza no tiene nada especial, es sólo una pizza con cosas al azar.

For the first time I ate a really good pizza abroad. Before entering I didn't know what to expect since it's difficult to find a real pizza outside Italy, but in this place I can say I was satisfied. Welcoming environment and courteous staff, the manager was friendly and helpful right away. If I ever return to London I will definitely stop in again.

Photographed Charlotte and Jonathan's wedding at nearby Hackney Town Hall, and then a family meal at Lardo. Food was superb, great service, and a lovely atmosphere made for great photography.
