Classic Fish & Chip Shop, serving Kebabs and a range of homemade dishes as well. Always friendly and most items are cooked fresh as you wait. If you are in the area it's a great choice.

Friendly staff. Ordered fish chips and peas at lunch and cooked fresh whilst i waited. Unfortnately the oil was old, dark and burnt & needed changing. Come on chaps - everything else was spot on.

My first and last visit.Chewey reheated chips in a small tray, normal size sausage, advertising as a large size. Bland gravy.

No problem with staff, lovely service, just a shame the portions are so tight... I would strongly recommend not spending money here if you want to feel full after the meal.

Disappointing. Chips were very greasy and full of black and bad bits, some were harder than others. Large size chips is like a regular anywhere else. Fishcake, although cooked fresh was unusually hard on the outside. Won't be in a rush to go back.

.only problem i had is got fish well if can call it that .more like a gold fish really small and was over cooked .I was shocked the size of it and price they charged for it more like size of a side plate very small .wouldn't get fish here again think il go somewhere else .

Fabulous local fish and chips. Both cooked to perfection and very generous portions. We were able to pre order by phone and they brought our order out so we could collect with minimal contact. Will be going back regularly.

Great food and always freshly made. You can also pay by card too which helps for people like me who don't tend to carry cash round with me these days.

So I've lived in Eccles a few years and not noticed this place until today but I'll be sure to make this my regular chippy. Lovely staff and the fish and chips tasted great. Very reasonably priced. It's very clean inside and you have to admire them for working in 24 degrees on top of all the fryers. Definitely 5*

The staff here are so friendly. The food is very nice and great value for money. Only just moved to the area and found this gem. Defo the only place you shpuld gp for a chippy in Eccles. Also the owner makes a mean halloumi wrap!! Always great food and service here. You don't mind waiting 10 mins when the food is fresh and hot. I 100% reccomend this place to anyone after an awesome chippy!!

Went the other night and had a mixed kebab, chicken was lukewarm at best, kids mithered for chippy tea tonight so went and got sausage and chips for them, again sausages were not hot (had to reheat when I got home - 2 mins away in car), won't be visiting again - shame as never had a problem with old management ( witnessed the new owner being rude to ppl a couple of times so don't think much point in complaining to him)

Been here a few times now and it never gets any better. Over priced and just terrible food. Will NOT be returning to this place again

Overpriced, portions are poor and quality not that great either. There's loads of better chippies in Eccles (except Yings on Worsley Rd!!) Do yourself a favour, swerve this place and walk to Eccles centre (3 good, solid English chippies there) or Patricroft (2 decent Chinese ones).

You would struggle to find a more traditional small town chippy anywhere. This place is not as well-polished even as the nearby Captain Cod but it ticks all the boxes. Obviously it sells chips and not fries; a difference that only Brits seem to understand. But it also sells various fish, spam fritters, jumbo sausages, pies and the like. They do it so very well and they never seem to change. Enjoy it old style.
