The best (vegan) burger I have ever had!

Been back quite a few times since my initial review, amazing food and a great spot. Dog friendly. When my mate said we were going to the SPAR for dinner I was a bit taken aback, but he hasnt led me astray so I went along with it. This place is brilliant, like a mini food hall in a super market. They have various places to eat, we went for the burger place. A chicken burger and 4 wings was £10 and well worth the money. The food was delicious. But I think what's great about this place is you can go to the fridges (in the shop section) and buy bottles / cans of beer (or soft drinks) and drink them with you dinner. Great idea and very well implemented.

Service was incredible!! The Jerk station food is amazing definitely worth a try!! We had a waiter called Andrea and she was lovely and helped us with everything we needed! Highly highly recommend!!

I think this is the best place for pizza in Stortford. Turned up on spec last night and ordered a pizza to takeaway. I was out the door 15 mins later, pizza in hand. As usual, it was excellent.

Ate Goat Curry at Jerk Station, absolutely lovely! Couldn't recommend it more.

The chicken hatch in there is very good very fresh chicken good flavours good customer service. So is the pizza place in there

Eat17 is a really popular spot, and it’s easy to see why – there’s a great selection of food with lots of variety, and the overall vibe is lively and enjoyable. However, there are a couple of things that really let the experience down. First, the toilets are in a terrible state. Not only are they in serious need of a proper clean, but the general condition of them is just shabby and neglected. For a place with such a good reputation, the standard of the facilities is simply not acceptable. Secondly, I was quite surprised to be asked if I wanted to leave a tip after grabbing my own drink from the fridge and paying for it at the till. That kind of tipping culture might fly in the US, but it feels out of place here – especially when there's no table service involved. Being prompted to tip for self-service just feels wrong. There’s a lot to love about Eat17, but some basics need attention before it can really live up to the hype.

Payed 12.99 for beef stew what I got was no beef all fat and gristle from the microwave if your going for authentic Jamaican cuisine this is not the spot for you

Opted for the curried goat. Good sized portion, great flavours and very friendly staff. Great dining experience.

Great burger from Browski and garlic bread from Petrucci. Cakes looked nice too!

Nice place with many different options, streetfood style.

Milkshake pretty disgusting for £6. Sour milk with powdered mix no ice cream. Didn’t get served the cake slice even though we got charged. And no refund received even after tapping card.

I had great servive from Will at the eat17 bar.

Expensive food, drink prices are ridiculous. Chicken was overdone and dry. Tasted like supermarket goujons with a sauce on. Pretty disappointed.

An interesting, quirky mix of deli delights, local delicacies (and some not so local), plus a few small boutique in-store eateries. Very unusual and worth a look around especially if you are a foodie!

Very busy and impersonal with ordering done by QR code at the table. Expensive for what you get too.

Good choice of food, a bit pricey for what you get. Atmosphere felt a bit cold decour could be better then OSB planks of wood.

Met a friend here for brunch. Good choices from pizza, mexican, Japanese, greek etc etc. I had the jackfruit bowl from the mexican, really lovely and good portion

The server behind the bar had little knowledge about the table numbers and took a while to arrive to the correct table. I ordered a pint and it came flat. Took it back to the bar and I was served another with no issue but the server kept on walking past and staring. Not the best experience.

Excellent full English breakfast, outstanding coffee!

Wandered in for a quick lunch, clicked the code thing on the table with a phone and selected from the menu. Tried to pay with a card but the process was so convoluted that we gave up and went somewhere else. Wanted to know what my shoe size was, how many kids I had and if I'd had all my covid jabs (I jest of course but it was an absolute pain) So we left, & went up the road to the Thai squid place which was very good. Giving them 3 stars as we have absolutely no idea what the grub is like

I ordered a Cesar chicken salad from smokey egg in eat 17 , now I'm a Cesar salad queen , my most favourite salad and my go to if on the menu , first time I've ever eaten in eat 17 /smokey egg and I will make this statement, my Cesar salad was the best Caesar salad I've ever had !! Well done Smokey Egg , u totally excelled my expectation ❤️

ordered a pizza and nachos using the online ordering system, was warned there was a wait on the pizza which was acceptable so expected the nachos would arrive first. when the pizza turned up my wife chased up the nachos and was told they were coming. pizza finished but still no nachos for the wife so I went and asked where they were and was told the order hadn't come through on the system despite showing clearly on my app. Eat 17 supervisor done very little to help out effectively blaming the food stand when it was clearly a failing with their system. the Nacho guy was decent and the food was all okay. Eat 17 system is flawed and their own customer service when something goes wrong was extremely poor and spoiled our day out.

Great place with plenty of choice of food, great atmosphere and a friendly environment. The only negative is the place would benefit from a decent extraction system, each time I’ve been there I’ve come home stinking of food.

There are plenty of options, and this time, I chose the Japanese, awesome taste from maki to poke bowl! Their prawn cracker is a surprisingly nice, authentic, thailand taste! The options of the drink are slightly pricy, but they have a variety of options, even kumbucha. Will be back to try other food stalls.

We visited Eat 17 after going to the Polo at Solver Leys. They do a reasonable selection of gluten free options but this could be expanded. The safest bet was the chicken place which tasted incredible.

Great having a choice of meals under one roof, though on a Monday lunchtime several not open ( including the pizza which many reviewers rave over ) However the Japanese stall at the far end was very good. Generous portions, reasonable price and v tasty. The milk shakes a bit overpriced though as were most of the fizzy drinks on the shelves. Ambiance when not busy a bit dull and a touch shabby- including the loos. But definitely will go back.

Very buzzy and cool atmosphere here. The food quality is both high and very diverse, with great choices. Have to mention the very attentive, friendly and polite waitress service too, particularly a girl called Elka, who was very polite and helpful. Look forward to eating at Eat 17 again!

Other outlets within the unit good yeerologist and Lucia liver performed but the Japanese outlet was substandard. Served raw chicken Karage still frozen inside, doughy tempura and sad salmon teriyaki- when challenging it the server took her AirPod out to listen then said she talk to her manager who came over gave my partner a refund in the karage but nothing for our mouthfuls of raw chicken. Other family had a great meal from the other outlets.

Extremely good food at fair prices.

Amongst the range of options at Eat17, I enjoyed the salmon lovers’ set from OhbaLeaf. Excellent sashimi, rolls and (if anything too-large) nigiri. Reasonable value for money.

The gyros were good but most of the other food places were closed on a Sunday afternoon. Prices of craft beer were crazy expensive.

Chicken shop inside in banging. Pizza shop is beautiful pizza. Yeros kebab is amazing. Can't ask for more under one roof.

A nice and cozy little store, with several different food stalls like a mini food court, it has Greek, Mexican , Japanese sushi , burger and pizza, reasonable price, got coffee and different drinks too, a lovely place in town to gather with friends.

Love coming here during the week.Lucha Libre is my favourite so far. Yet to try all of the eateries here but working our way through them all.I cannot give it 5 stars due to the lack of toilets in a place of that size

Ordered a selection of takeaway pizzas for a birthday celebration, amd everybody was very complimentary, so I would highly recommend.

This is a really cool place. There's a whole bunch of different food options and as you order from your table you can easily mix and match from different places. Went here for lunch and had a really good pizza and garlic pizza bread (warning - the garlic pizza bread is a lot bigger than its picture makes it seem). Would highly recommend this place if you're in the area and hungry.

Disappointing first visit. Suggested by friends so gave it a go. 11:45am ordered from Smokey Egg and didn’t turn up until 12:15. Quite a long time considering others ordered at 12 and got their food before me. Table and chairs at the front were dirty which wasn’t very nice either. Food quality was good albeit not that warm. Drinks selection was excellent and served quickly. Maybe just an off day but a disappointing first visit.

New experience for a visitor to the area. Lots of fun, easy to order and pay, nice Malbec, great for kids....not for a quiet night out though x

Ten lokal podoba mi się bardzo. Różnorodne kuchnie ( każda osobna), szybka obsługa, i bardzo przystępne ceny. Ja zamówiłem danie z baraniną, smakowało mi, żona wrapę z serem halumi, jej również smakowało. Jedynie o co mam pretensję, pracownik uprzątnął stolik po poprzednich gościach, lecz go nie wytarł, chociaż było nieco nabrudzone. Kurczak by pojadł.

Every single meal in this place is simply amazing!

Nicely set up for the day now. Breakfast at Eat 17 Stortford. Easy to order via QR code. Phone out of charge? No problem. Nip to breakfast bar where Carlos is cooking up a storm. Wonderful 'full on' cooked to order food, and superb coffee whilst we waited, a reassuringly 10 mins, for our dishes to arrive. All round brilliant. And they do Sunday roast. 😀 We'll be back.

Great place for interesting food, drinks and luxury snacks. My only criticism is how they leave open food by high traffic areas - example: cannolli, croissants and various other snacks on display openly without packaging or any form of cover up by the til point with people breathing respiratory droplets all over them. Really in this day and age they should re-think things like this.

The place is ok, food there is so good the only downside is the place is always have fish smell
