Eastern Spice in Dundee City

Amazing Food, good portions. best place for pizza and kebabs. I tried Mixed Meal, Pizza was fantastic and kebab was huge. Definitely, will go back.

This is our "go to" for kebabs and curries. Their food is brilliant and portion size excellent. The guys who work there are always polite and cheerful. They always look clean and tidy and are always cleaning whenever I've been in. Top marks

Food absolutely disgusting, Donner meat hardly cooked and cold, garlic bread with cheese like hot bread. Ordered 2 litre Iron bru and received a bottle and can of coke. Stay clear

Phoned my order in and ordered sweet chilli sauce instead of chilli sauce paid extra, come in to collect my order to be told be couple minutes…15 minutes later food finally ready. Gets home opens my order to see I got chilli sauce instead so phones shop cause I noticed something happened when I was in there. Said to guy gave me wrong sauce he then said he told me that there was no sweet chilli sauce left and I said no you never said that and you now that you’ve just called me a liar I saw you take my sweet chilli sauce tub out my bag and into someone else’s and you denied it and went silent and hung up. I go here all the time and tonight service was shocking but give the guy a medal for trying to trick a trickster.

The website is very easy to navigate, putting the order together, even when trying something new, like tonight, is no bother. My new favourite, Lentils and lamb is superb very tender, fabulous flavours. Wings coating is crisp and delicious. I run a local BnB - Dupplin152 where our guests often use Eastern spice if they don't want to troll into town for supper. They're never disappointed. It's great to have somewhere i can confidently recommend to them.

Food was absolutely fantastic, macaroni was great and partner enjoyed his calzone only thing was chips were soggy due to being wrapped in tin foil, i would prefer personally that the box was peirced and unwrapped to let steam escape, but 10/10!

Cold chips with hot meat. ended up binning

Ordered the “hungry box” and was not disappointed, 2 burgers were cooked really well and was fresh, chips were fine no issues, pakoras were fresh and cooked fine, the kebab tasted okay not the freshest but still great value for money. Staff were very friendly in store and will definitely be back!

Although the delivery time says 5 past it wasn’t actually delivered untill 25 past and turned up like warm

Price you pay for portion size of a large kebab only to be given a small, North Indian sauce was extremely thick and no spice at all. All chips were extremely soggy and mush.

Pre ordered it to be delivered at 6pm and it came on the dot. food was hot big portions and so good.

I’m a regular visitor to Eastern Spice, regular because I love tandoori chicken. They go out of their way to serve me the food and exactly as it should be. If you want value for money and great food, this is the place to go

the first curry I got from here was just ok nothing special it was a jantar matter, one of the premium dishes. The next two currys I tried were indistinguishable from homepride cook in sauce from a jar..... I wouldn't try again and recommend anyone thinking of ordering try somewhere else

Love the donor kebabs the meat is just right the way i like it, the meat is not tuff its finely carved and thats what make the meat enjoyable is how its carved, the sauce is just rte and its al way through the meat to make it really tasty👍

Tell me why I received a radioactive Naan bread and stale chips. Called up to voice my concerns about the Area 51 Naan and was met with a condescending man telling me Naan Bread is meant to be green? Rest of food was also very tasteless

Macaroni and chips is really good, the small portion easily feeds two people, the portion was huge. Only niggle was chips could have been crispier but that's just me being picky.

The calzone was awful very thin and just burnt tomato sauce on the top

Delivery was fine there was no issues at all however my food was cold...the donner must the chips and the chicken were all cold...only things that were edible were the cheeseburgers..I have ordered from here many of times and don't normally have any problems but last night was not good at all, I may consider going elsewhere in the future, it only takes one bad time to put anyone off.

Shashlik kebabs are amazing! I did order a chicken one this time- but was given lamb haha- ive previously had lamb one so it was still brilliant.. hunger box too was great as usual and lots in it! Our favourite takeaway!

We placed a big order for a family birthday meal. Food was all great and tasty as usual- apart from the chicken tikka massala which was very salty and tasted grainy.. not the usual standard we get but it was a new curry we tried so wouldnt order it again.. everything else amazing! Thanks

Absolutely disparage of a place, food is terrible. Customer service is shocking!! Owner had no respect for customers, told me I was as a disgrace to be a woman. Would not recommend and should be closed down. Please woman or young ladies/girls please do not go to this takeaway as you will be attacked!

Good local take away for midnight snacks. Only used them a few times but over all good so far. Food was cooked to order as I was n the take away. Atmosphere was kinda poor as delivery drivers talking to staff. That said I wasn't listening too heavily after all its a take away! Keep the food as good as u got it and ur on to a win win 🏆!

Usually really good but tonight my kebab just tasted like mint. Couldn’t taste the kebab or even the chilli sauce, all the salad taste of was mint. Really wasn’t great atall. Kebab was chewy and hard bits etc. always order from here but disappointed, still starving as couldn’t eat it.

I was so disappointed. We have been using Eastern Spice for years and really enjoyed their food however this last meal was really not up to the standard we have come to expect. The naan bread was awful- thin, tasteless and like cardboard; the poppadoms were stale and soft; the bhajis tasted of nothing; the vegetable dupiaza was a mix of frozen, diced veg with some potato and a lonely edemame bean! It was spicy but tasted of nothing else. The Punjabi masala was neon red and tasted OK. The portion sizes were fine and the chips were good but not enough to redeem them. My daughter's calzone was good but she said she's had better. Because of the cost of living we are only having a takeaway once every couple of months and this one was a real letdown.

Very disappointing. We've been getting food from the for years and it is usually very good. However on this occasion it was all very underwhelming. The naan were really thin and tasted of nothing. The poppadoms were stale and soft. I had a vegetable dupiaza and it was bland. The vegetables were nothing special....frozen mixed veg of carrots and peas with a few bits of potato and an edamame bean. My husband's chicken masala was OK. The food all looked good and the portions were generous. However we won't be rushing back.

Had the garlic chicken tikka from here tonight. It was amazing and the meal was ready quickly and the staff are so friendly.
