I ordered veg tikki burger but it was burn and test like charcoal 😭😭🤢🤢

After over an hour of waiting, I got delivered the worst Chinese I've ever eaten. I binned it. How can you let that food leave your restaurant? Absolutely horrible.

Best Chinese we’ve had, food was hot on arrival and delivery was quicker than scheduled time. Portions were massive and got a portion of free prawn crackers too. Worth the money would recommend

Ordered from this place whilst in Piperdam Leisure resort, the takeaway is in the middle of Dundee and quite a bit away from the leisure resort, it came early and was easily the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, delivery driver was a really nice guy. Food came hot and really was really really good. Edinburgh Chinese takeouts should hang their heads in shame at the quality they provide compared to this place. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Piperdam lodges. This place is not going downhill like reviews on here.

Late at night no one in takeaway so quiet and order chips and curry sauce get home have rice and curry sauce.I mean how hard is it to get the right order.😡

Slowly going down hill. Ordered tonight and food was cold. Spring rolls were battered instead of filo pastry. Called to complain and was offered a percentage back. Spring rolls were £4.20 and percentage was not covering that. Used to be the best Chinese in Dundee. Now curry sauce is watered down and quality not good. Last time I will order from you and I will pass on to my friends. Bad reviews travel fast.

Chinese takeaway in Dundee. I ordered from the veggie menu. Bean Curd with mushrooms, bean curd with satay sauce, fried rice and veggie spring rolls. All tasted great, well prepared and cooked. Delivery was in good time. Good value for money, will be ordering from Neighbour's Kitchen again.

Pathetic after an hour and a half food never arrived, called 23 times and no one answered the phone

Ordered twice for delivery to Piperdam lodges as we enjoyed it so much. Arrived on time, great prices/portions and the battered chicken balls were the best we've ever had.

This is the closest chinese by my house with it being about a 3 minute walk away. I've been going to this place since I was a teenager and I have no complaints, going here as long as I have I've never had a negative experience even with staff changing etc The portions are perfect as one thing I find with certain chinese places is they give you too much to try and make prices look "worth it". But this place does it right, pricing is perfect along with portions. Even better that they are on JustEat meaning I can order on my phone and just go around to pick it up with minimal waiting! Not sure if it's the same but the only downside is they don't take card payments unless you're using JustEat - like I said though, not sure if this is still the case.

Food is excellent good size portions and not overly priced

Was here November 2022. Never noticed that they had added 30p to get a standard potion of rice with my curry. Went tonight, not only have they increased their prices by 50p each, but now if you want a standard rice, it’s an another 50p. A curry means a meal and rice!!!!! Oh and they charge 10p for a bag. Oh and they only take cash! I wonder why mr taxman ??? After 5 years of loyalty, I won’t be back! Greed is a big word

First time used and enjoyed will use again

Tried going to my neighbours kitchen once but was rudely screamed at in Spanish (not too sure what was said, guessing it would of been along the lines of get out my kitchen you weirdo but not too sure). Wouldn’t go again. I’d love to try this place, as long as I had permission this time.

Must have a change of chef been going here for a few months but the last 2 meals have been awful. Chicken was boiled spongy and like jelly, sauce was like soup meant to be oyster sauce but a thin soup liquid. Last time I complained my meal was tasteless I got vegetables in satay sauce. I was told on the phone it was because no chicken stock added because it was vegetables. The sauce should be the same wether it is veg, beef, chicken prawn or pork.

Friendly staff and food is always usually hot and fresh and tasty.Good meal deals including a one person meal in one large container...Choice of main and rice or chips.The salt and pepper boxes are also great. Edit...Additional feedback on my original review.My mum who is elderly ordered half portion chicken balls and was charged nearly a fiver.Thats a small tub sweet n sour sauce and 5 chicken balls (and obvs no rice or chips).The full portion is £6.20.Absolute bloody robbery.Single people who only want a small portion shouldn't be penalised like this.Went from 5 stars to 3 for me.Very dissapointing like.

Chips were so hard they had to be yesterday's chips, not the first time they have done this, friends have ordered and got the same! How they think its ok to serve yesterday's food is disgusting! Don't order from here as you have no idea how fresh it is or what you are eating! They should be audited for serving what was received, absolutely horrible.

Ordered food, did not arrive, phoned up and explained we did not receive order but said it was delivered to next door but they had a different order, paid for everything, very rude on phone also hung up when explained it wasn’t here yet

Didn't enjoy my meal at all. Certainly not a chicken szechuan that I get elsewhere. Was not a sauce but a thick gooey mess! Disappointed as it was highly recommended to us. Staff were great.

We put a big order in as we are on a family holiday, we ordered a portion of noodles, when they arrived, they wasn’t cooked. They came in the box for us to boil ourselves! food was very bland and didn’t have much taste. We Spent over £50 on this order for it to arrive cold. Won’t order again

The food from this takeaway is excellent, I have never had a problem with it. The portion size is great and you always seem to come away with a complementary bag of prawn crackers even if your order is under a tenner. Whilst I've never been disappointed with the food, the waiting/service area is very stark. Waiting can be up to ten minutes on an order but there is no seating and the interior design is less than inviting. I would suggest giving the waiting area a makeover, put a couple of plants around the place, some chairs and a telly, so people don't have to feel like their standing waiting for a bus.

Good tasty food, decent portions. We had the Singapore Chow Mein, nice little spice, like it's supposed to be, & a chicken & sweetcorn soup also nice. Accordingly priced, & also a small bag of prawn crackers thrown in too 😀

Always get our curry's from here. Food always good. Had a wee mix up with our order tonight but they apologized and resolved it quickly. great customer service

Sent a takeaway to my grandparents and they were very happy with Neighbors Kitchen. very generous portion sizes and they added in extras to the order (as there was a wee mix up the day before) Chicken noodle soup had lots of bits of chicken in it. I ordered 2 portions of banana fritter and they got 6 pieces. Neighbors Kitchen were considerably less expensive than another nearby Chinese takwaway too. Thanks 10/10

I phoned for a delivery at 6pm and after waiting an hour for my delivery, I decided to phone the shop to see if the driver was on the way or if there was a longer waiting time, in which the girl on the phone said “oh yes he has left and will be there shortly” in which I asked when he left and how long he’d take and all she said was a little while ago he should only be another 10 mins. After another half hour of waiting he appeared and I asked him at the door when he picked up the order from the shop which he struggled to answer and then said not long ago and I told him I had phoned the shop 30 mins ago and they explained that the driver had left a while ago which means my order would have been in the car anytime from 40-70mins. He explained the food wouldn’t be cold as he “didn’t have it for long” so I continued to pay for the order and off he went. Opened up my food and it was freezing cold, I had to heat both my partner and i’s food up and afterwards we no longer had an appetite and most of the food was wasted. Absolutely devasted and annoyed on how bad the service was through delivery and customer service through the phone. 1.5 hour wait on a chicken chow mien and chicken curry, I didn’t even want to bother phoning up and complaining because of the lack of help and assistance I had on the phone already. I’ve also read below that the don’t respond to negative reviews so I’d appreciate a little bit of decency from the shop to read and respond to my review otherwise I won’t be coming back.

I was very disappointed with my meal. I order a chicken Maryland which was very poor. The chicken was cut into 3 small slices and it was hard. The chicken meat was not good it had dark bits inside. And inside the tray was shocking, very few items in this which contained one bit chicken with banana fitter and some cucumber and tomato. Then I ask for boiled rice with gravy sauce. I got egg fried rice and gravy it didn't taste very good. Then also got plain chow mein that was ok. The only thing ok. I was very disappointed by all this and will not be back.

Go to Chinese in Dundee. Never dissapointed with food and they are always quick to deliver

I have been going there for years. The last 3 times i got a curry and it was rubbish. The sauce was like water and the guy in their was no help what so ever. I could make better currys than that. I will never go back their again.

Food always good but deliver is hit and miss. Waiting for a delivery now and it is already 50 minutes later than stated, and counting. If i were in a restaurant and waited this long I would have walked out. Not impressed and not expecting a response from the owners as they only seem to respond to the positive ones.

Absolutely love this place!! There food is amazing and we get a delivery and you are waiting atleast 15 to 20 mins! Which is fast to us compared to other places.. Would definitely recommend 😁

We ordered £40 of food from just eat and added to the notes the sauces we would like. Delivery was 20mins later than mentioned (so over 1.5 hours) and the sauces were wrong. When the delivery driver got to us he demanded an extra £2 for delivery as just eat apparently have wrong delivery charges! We had kids there so my partner just paid it (I wouldn't have!) I think they had a cheek to ask for it! Food was average

I have ordered king prawn curry with fried rice and mushroom on several occasions and always found the curries to be very good.i look forward to ordering more king prawn curries in the future.

I decided to come here for the first time in a while and needless to say things have only got better for this place The chicken curry was nice and hot, the protion was not to big and not to small and the chicken was perfect I will be coming back this place soon

Good little Chinese takeaway in charleston. The prices are pretty cheap there food is also tasty and there selection of food is OK as well. There staff are friendly and there waiting times for delivery etc are pretty fast within 30 minutes of ordering. Overall I would say 4 out of 5 stars give it a try

We were staying in the area and ordered a takeaway from here. the food was excellent, but more than that the driver had difficulty finding our isolated cottage in the dark but persevered and eventually found us..... so a big thank you to him for all his efforts!

We have had three carry out meals from here and each time the food has been excellent and the best value as if you spend a certain amount then free starters are added. We have been very impressed with the cuisine and although the take away looks deciding ...shoddy ( door on side open front shuttered the food and service are tip top we have had chicken and kung prawn dishes and dumplings all of the best quality so if you can get over the look of the place then you will have a very satisfying meal xx

Ordered Chicken and Mushroom with fried rice, rice was burnt and Chicken had this awful buttery taste / smell like it goes when it's went off, not only that the "Chicken" was if a rubbery chewy substance that didn't at all appear to be Chicken. Phoned to speak to the manager and as soon as I said the quality of the food was awful and that I thought the chicken may be off I was told not to call back and hung up on.

Un restaurante chino de fin cuidar para llevar es ahora un espantoso pensamos que gracias a este lugar. Me han pedido en china en el futuro previsible. Pedimos desde aquí en dos ocasiones y fue bastante local. La primera entrega era normal en el mejor de los casos y la segunda entrega involucrados helada y el arroz de huevo 'volar de comida fría. Pedimos dos platos principales para mi pareja y yo tanto incluyendo arroz frito. Ambas porciones no una, no dos, pero tres moscas en cada uno de ellos. pasado el restaurante unas pocas semanas más tarde, lo cual no es ninguna sorpresa que parece muy higiénico. Evitar si tesoro su salud y sin duda evitar si no quieres que te desanime comida china por unos pocos meses.

La mejor comida china llevar que he tenido en Dundee! El restaurante ofrece una gran relación calidad-precio comida ofertas, 8 libras por una entrada, plato principal, bebida y gambas, galletas saladas. El personal es bastante claramente escuchar sus peticiones se hacen vía a comer también, comparado con otros lugares donde sus peticiones especiales son a menudo daba! Por ejemplo, me pidió que les sin verduras en mi satay de pollo ya que no soy entusiasta en cebollas y pimientos, el personal tomamos a bordo y recibí una bañera completa de pollo y salsa salcita satay suave con sin verduras. Las cosas Simples como este son la razón por la que siempre pedir desde aquí ahora!

Been going here for years,always buy king prawn with salt and chilli for starters ,request extra spicy and never disappointed,Mongolian chicken is brill,as is their deep fried beef ,yum yum,delivery is prompt and food always hot.

I like to try different Chinese dishes (not just curry and chips), so I appreciate it when the chef makes a real effort to produce tasty food. This takeaway is the best I found locally.
