Neighbours kitchen in Dundee City

Think this may be my new go to chinese! Big portions for the price and loads of options. Especially like how there's a fair few customisations like adding onions or different sizes of curry sauce too.

Was ok, not much chicken or prawns, wouldn’t order again

Very disappointed with tonight s order., spicy chips which were undercooked had a couple of onions thrown on them. Not the usual standard from here. Plus fried rice awful tonight. Basically oiled rice that fell out of tray as a whole portion because rice all stuck together. Not good ! Ordered from here a million times aswell

Really tasty as usual, decent portion size, fast delivery. Good communication too as they called to confirm address.

Gave me wrong order,(second time now) had to wait over 30 mins for a replacement and by then the food had gone cold.Chips were inedible and when called the girl on the phone was extremely rude. Been a regular here for years but won’t be back now.

Usually my favourite Chinese! Never get a bad meal however tonight was not great! Fried rice was still hard and crunchy, chicken balls were soggy and chicken was watery/ slimy and chow mein was so dry not very edible! And food nowhere near as hot as it usually is! Really put off from this experience which is a shame as usually they are brilliant

late delivery and unhappy, this is my usual go to chinese and usually it's fantastic, but the last time I ordered it was late and wasn't the same, and this time they haven't even sent the correct order. obviously don't care about regular customers.

So greasy. Not a lot of content apart from chips really. Chicken balls were. I’ve but the ribs are just chewy bit’s unfortunately. Bit of a disappointed as I have heard a lot of good things about this place. 4/10

food is absolutely horrendous fried rice is boiled rice with a bit of food colouring avoid this place at all cost. phoned about food being late to be told there a only 1 driver on then thr driver told me there 2 drivers on start to finish horrible service

After over an hour of waiting, I got delivered the worst Chinese I've ever eaten. I binned it. How can you let that food leave your restaurant? Absolutely horrible.

Chicken Maryland very dry breadcrumbs on it very hard .

Ordered spring rolls and got what I think were dumplings as it was all battered and hardly any filling. Chips were fine but once I'd poured on the gravy I couldn't eat them as the gravy was so salty. Main chicken dish was nice but spoilt by great big chunks of ginger through it. Most of the takeaway went in the bin. Really not impressed.

Food was bland and tasteless. Judging by the texture and temperature it was with the delivery driver for some time.

Immediately given an almost two hour wait time, takes even longer than claims to have ordered our food on time despite having not arrived.

Order from here all the time it’s my favourite Chinese in Dundee and the only one we order from now but the food tonight wasn’t up to usual standard, the chips, rice and the pork and beef in the curries were perfect but the curry sauce is completely tasteless, literally like thick yellow water, never had this issue before so hopefully it’s just a one off.

Me and my family on a break at Piperdam and didn't know the local area we ordered from this place and we all thoroughly enjoyed, the food was very good. Thank you a good start to our weekend 😊

Best Chinese we’ve had, food was hot on arrival and delivery was quicker than scheduled time. Portions were massive and got a portion of free prawn crackers too. Worth the money would recommend

Ordered from this place whilst in Piperdam Leisure resort, the takeaway is in the middle of Dundee and quite a bit away from the leisure resort, it came early and was easily the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, delivery driver was a really nice guy. Food came hot and really was really really good. Edinburgh Chinese takeouts should hang their heads in shame at the quality they provide compared to this place. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Piperdam lodges. This place is not going downhill like reviews on here.

got a variety of things,all good stuff apart from the wonton soup,wasn't keen on that,food was hot and delivered early.

first time I've ordered from here and would order again... crispy seaweed was the main reason I ordered the starter fried munch box .. comes with two sauces which I didn't know and ordered sauce as an extra.

Late at night no one in takeaway so quiet and order chips and curry sauce get home have rice and curry sauce.I mean how hard is it to get the right order.😡

Just had the worst curry ever never use them again yesterday's chips and chicken was like chewing chewing gum solid and chewy

delivery was quick, the rice/chips/curry sauce combo was very generous and I had Mongolian bean curd which really was quite tasty. :)

sweet and sour sauce was far to sweet for my liking

I ordered ribs and ch and sweetcorn soup tonight, the ribs were ok but the soup was so sweet, I was inedible, it’s was like someone had put sugar in instead of salt.

Food was awful. Chips tasted as though they had been refried and the spring rolls were not fresh they were chewy. Fried rice was a big lump and hardly no curry sauce. Really disappointed with food

Slowly going down hill. Ordered tonight and food was cold. Spring rolls were battered instead of filo pastry. Called to complain and was offered a percentage back. Spring rolls were £4.20 and percentage was not covering that. Used to be the best Chinese in Dundee. Now curry sauce is watered down and quality not good. Last time I will order from you and I will pass on to my friends. Bad reviews travel fast.

Yet to arrive £36 of food and no valid updates the latest possible delivemy time had passed, I call and get told it’s just with the driver? So it’s been driving around the city in the cold for hours before I’m going to eventually get it!, service abysmal, customer service abysmal

Chinese takeaway in Dundee. I ordered from the veggie menu. Bean Curd with mushrooms, bean curd with satay sauce, fried rice and veggie spring rolls. All tasted great, well prepared and cooked. Delivery was in good time. Good value for money, will be ordering from Neighbour's Kitchen again.

Best Chinese in Dundee by a country mile!

I would like to request a refund for my Chicken Fried Rice and Curry sauce, because the chicken tasted very off, which made the meal inedible. My stomach wasn't feeling well this morning, and a friend that had ordered Chicken Fried Rice the same night, told me that her experience was the same. It's a shame because this used to be my favourite Chicken fried rice and curry, and so last night was very dissapointing. I would wish for the staff to look into this matter, because I can say for sure that I wasn't the only one who was given a bad quality of food. I hope this won't happen again, or I will need to look for a new favourite restaurant. Kind regards

More than an hour late very poor service I’m afraid when it did arrive it was Luke warm at best

Ordered from here waited past the delivery time checked the app to see it said enjoy your food yet no food, phones the restaurant for a young woman to answer and say it should have left if it was over an hour ago I asked if she could check she then again repeated herself. Waited another 20 minutes no sign of food phoned again to be greated by the same woman so I asked where my food is she says the same again so I told her to check and gave her the address I then got the biggest sigh then put on hold then told it should be there soon absolutely useless no my fault u hate Ure job hen 😂
