Food was ok service was pleasant restaurant was quiet when we were there

Absolutely love the food here . Usually stay for a sit in meal but just cannot understand why they do not do it up a bit & PLEASE make it warmer . Sitting having your 3 course meal with your COAT ON is not ideal , but your food makes up for it . Surely if it was made a bit more warmer (especially stone ceiling maybe cladded ?) & more modern , you would get more people coming to dine in . Usually we are the only ones in the sit down . We have had take-away delivery & food is just as good as sit in. The staff are always lovely & friendly which is a delight . So , HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOOD , both sit in & takeaway , but please entice more people in (there is a lack of dine in oriental). You obviously have the customers as when we are there your takeaway is ALWAYS BUSY . Compliments to the chef

Ordered christmas day at 2 for delivery at 6 came over an hour late when food arrived its was luke warm at best but tasty enough they never gave my beef curry so i had rice had to take abit of my wife and 2 boys to scrape a plate together for me so 9 quid out if pocket tried phonin 14 times never answered the phone we order every christmas night from here that tradition has now stopped shame aswell.ive been eating here for a very long time

Had the 3 course menu, starter chicken satay, beef schezuan and banana fritter with ice cream. Very good, had enough to take home, have leftovers for lunch today. Just the right amount of spicy with starter and main meal. Banana fritter with syrup and ice cream, coffee. Perfect finish no rush to

First time trying here for a while, food was bang on delicious, fresh and hot, massive chunks of chicken, great delivery times too, would definitely use again 👍

The main reason for leaving a review is to compliment the staff especially the man that served me. Very polite, patient and informative.

Food and Staff amazing but personally restaurant is way to small hardly any seating and the little seating you do manage to find you feel like you have to hurry up so other customers can get in could defitnely do with a bigger Chopstix

I work nearby so often get my lunch here. The food is very tasty and portions are a good size, Friendly staff and always fast service exactly what you need on your lunch break 😊

The food was great from here, and the customer service was excellent. Lee and Brandon were both really friendly, I would definitely come back here.

We have visited a couple of times and can strongly recommend the Hot and Sour Soup, Spring Rolls, Mongolian Beef, Salt and Pepper Chicken and Bean Curd with mixed Vegetables. We had noodles each for side dishes which were lovely, large portions and we probably should have shared! Clean and tidy throughout but a tad tired. Staff were pleasant and bought us water top ups, prawn crackers and sauces. 100% recommend. We look forward to our next visit.

We have spent a lot money here over the last 15-20 years and have enjoyed many meals courtesy of chopstix but tonight you failed to give us the rice we asked for with the rest of our order (and the fact its happened twice in a row now makes us consider trying elsewhere in future) really disappointed...............

Delicious food, great service! I recommend!

My wife and I went here for a meal and it was brilliant. The duck was a little fatty but we didn't mind. We just had a takeaway from there which has left me feeling a bit nauseous. The duck was mostly fat and nothing seemed quite right. Maybe it's just an off day for me, but we just couldn't eat it. Not even the salt and pepper chips tasted quite right.

I tried crab, mussels and egg rice ..all of them are good ..feels like south Indian style

Food was okay, staff were nice apart from Brandon. A little embarrassing failing to show off in-front of his coworkers and coming across as arrogant to his other coworkers and customers. It’s an open kitchen, should cook himself up a little respect and manners.

Best place to go too in the town centre for food salt n pepper chicken is amazing. Staff full of smiles and very welcoming :)

Take away was very avarage , chicken very hard and sauce felt like its been made long time ago. Place looks very tired.

Never done Christmas dinner this year opted for Chinese take away although you can sit in and dine, we ordered for 5 people had great service and everybody said it was the best take away food they had in a while. Very tasty with great staff and I would recommend Chopstix as a must try. For busy times booking to sit in may be advisable and calling for takeaway food is a good idea. Delivery is also available.

Went in for some food today unfortunately they had ran out of vegetarian options so went for the noodles and my sever a young American went above and beyond to make me some salt and pepper potatoes

Ordered yesterday on the advice of a friend and I was very impressed with the meal that I chose.

First time I have never finished a sweet and sour, was tasteless and me and my fiancee both had a weird aftertaste that almost tasted like chemicals. Never again am I going here 👎

The noodles with chicken had a terrible taste and the friend rice was poor as well. I will never go back to chopstix. It appears to be the worse Chinese I ever had.

6 of us had a takeaway delivered. Quality was lower than we are used to so only a 2 star.

The. Most. Horrendous. Food!! Ordered spring rolls, Prawn toast, chicken satay and beef satay with boiled rice and egg fried rice. Prawn toast was soggy, almost cold and tasteless. The spring rolls were really doughy, tasted awful and resembled a white pudding more that spring roll. Both rice were mushy and disgusting. The satay dished were equally awful and neither meat actually tasted like real meat or what they should normally taste like, had a rubbery quality and was inedible. Neither of us could finish any of these dishes and felt disgusting afterwards. For the price of this 'meal' I'd expect edible food. Massive disappointment and will never, ever order from here again. Worst take away I've ever had the misfortune to experience. I wouldn't even rate this 1 star but I have to so I can leave a review.

Live 5 mins from shop & yet all arrived just warm, chips inedible like they have been heated & heated again, £25 waist of money curry sauce cold?? Prawn toast cold & inedible. Maybe delivery driver's have had enough & sit in the car & chill? Who knows but will not use nor recommend to others.

I didn't know I really needed a Chinese until I ordered from Chopstix. Food and service both 10/10. I ordered for collection which was ready within 10 minutes and the lady who works there came out to the car and handed it me. Very polite and cheerful and excellent money for value!

Ordered special curry had no beef in it asked why was told upu asked for Jo seafood in it. Saltn pepper chips had no flavour just normal chips. Saltn pepper shredded beef was brick hard. Was told the owner would call the next to provide a refund but didn't. Worst Chinese in dundee won't recommend or use again.

Absolutely superb and open for deliveries in lockdown! What more can you say. Satay was undoubtedly restaurant quality.

Honestly love this wee place. It's not fancy but the food is jus great, the service is super fast, they're polite and friendly and it's a great price.

I put a order in for collection I did enjoy the chiken balls rice&sauce but my whole bag of chips was crisp hard and all my spring rolls were burnt n hard to :( so for that reason I gave a 3 star. food seems lovely two if it wasnt overcooked it's a shame hopefully next time it's not like tonights

Bad experience. I've ordered something online and the website said it will take up to 45 minutes. After a hour I've got an E-mail, that my order got cancelled, because they do not deliver to my area and that I am to far. NOTE: I live 3-5 Minutes away from the Takeaway (by car) On the picture, one can see, that it's close to me. Totally unacceptable and a bad service!

The only thing that was slightly ok was the staff, the food was awful, and the menus were splattered with food droppings , it not very clean or hygienic in my opinion best chinese restaurant in dundee is at the waterfront food is amazing there

First visit to Chopstix, Dundee it was great, food was excellent and staff first class, had the rice with beef and sweet and sour chicken, definitely worth a visit.

Outstanding 3 course meal had at chopstix. Very reasonably priced. Nothing was too much trouble for the gentleman server. Would highly recommend sitting in and having a meal at chopstix.

Very poor, 1 starter, 3 mains and 2 chips £29.10 delivered. Food had no taste and was over cooked. Sorry but won't be using again.

Over cooked chips....terrible duck..meat spring rolls with no meat..thin slices of chicken on satee when should be chunks..just poor portions and poorly made...first time and last time...

Good restraunt and food is delicious, Very unpleased with delivery had a short large man shouting and threatining my son with police. I understand however this is not purely the restaurants fault and is why i will not underate this restaurant based on one’s actions.

The taste of the food has gone downhill really quick!! salt and pepper chicken is completely different to what it used to be, the noodles taste plasticky!

Great food and very reasonable prices

A stab in the dark turned into a sublime visit. Friendly staff, beautiful food (I had the salt and pepper ribs and duck in lemon sauce) and serene atmosphere.

Beware of their high delivery costs. Their 'Bigfoody' website says that they deliver to the DD6 area for £4.50, but look again and you'll see that they charge an extra £1 for the Wormit area. All of DD6 is across the bridge from Dundee, so why the extra £1? Won't be using them again, especially as I actually ordered from the restaurant direct and they never declared what the delivery costs were going to be. Very poor.

Maybe not quite as good as it used to be, but still better than most other Chinese Restaurant/ Takeaway
