I choose Bitoque (Portuguese food), has stake, egg, rice, chips and salad, very tasty 😋

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!! Should be 0 but it's not possible. To start of the waiter was talking with his friend when we came in obviously talking about us and laughing- very rude, clue to him( you never know someone might be speaking your language). His manager I guess did tell him off and ask to speak english- not much luck ther. Terrible service, the gentelman serving us did not even spoke english or portugese. Did not took our order correctly, did not even set the table for us. We had to ask for cutlery and plates. Food was descent but we only ate calamari and clams as the bread served was toast bread you can get in tescos ( used to be home made!!). Outrages lack of any people skills, not even mentioning waiting/ front of house skills. Never will come here again, and it used to be one of our family favourite portuhese spots in south london.

Really lovely food! Nice service. My 5 stars review was for CAPADOCIA Turkish restaurant not Mangualde that took over. I have never eaten at Mangualde.

The service here is more like a friendly local cafe than a restaurant. The food was luke warm, my 'medium' rare steak was just cooked to how the 'chef' felt like cooking it, and the amount of grizzle on it made it more like a fat burger than a sirloin steak. Maybe I'll stop in there for an actual burger .......then again.....maybe NOT!!

Unfortunately I can't give a good review to the place isn't the first time I went there and even the first time,the costumer service is really slow. The prices aren't adequate to what we consume. It's a place I don't intend to visit again.

My wife and I first tried this place e a couple of months back when they first opened and it was fantastic we gave a 5 star review BUT we revisited today to order a take away and firstly we were over charged by £10 . When we got the food home The chips we ordered and paid for were missing the mussels were swimming in oil and only half were even edible as half of the shells remained closed so had to be thrown away . Very disappointed gone down hill waste of money feel really ripped off !

Lovely food . We had a seafood arroz and a meat platter. It was worth waiting for. The owner was very friendly and the restaurant was busy.

A wonderful unpretentious Portuguese restaurant with friendly attentive service and excellent food. A decent wine list and an outstanding offering to local Norbury eating out. Will be back.

This place Is no longer Greek it has been sold and is now a Portuguese restaurant ! Omg the food and the service is so so much better than cappodocia offered. Th service is great the food is authentic Portuguese cuisine the portions are generous and the ingredients are good quality . I hope this place gets ax busy as if deserves to be as I solicit FB l in Ed yo see th Ed m bc succeed we need some good restaurants in Norbury !!!! And this is certainly excellent. I cannot recommend enough . Please try this place it wont disappoint !!!

An enjoyable alternative to the usual Indian or Chinese restaurants. Friendly and obliging staff with a variety of foods to cater for most tastes at a pleasing price.

Have been meaning to try this Turkish/mediterranean restaurant for a long time as I live nearby, and finally made it recently with friends to celebrate a Birthday Food was very good, and the starters and 'freebies' most generous, and the main course portions were substantial. However, the most outstanding part was the excellent service, which was impeccable without being overbearing All in all, a delightful evening, and we will certainly be back to sample some more of the food on offer

Was watching Come Dine With Me and this woman made an absolute mess of the lamb shank. Later hit up Cappadocia and got a lamb shank done right. 10/10

After going to another restaurant to celebrate, when we walked out we came to Cappadocia Ocakbasi. Lovely staff, food was great, big portions for a ressonable price. Good time had by all.

I've been coming back to this place quite regularly over the past 5-6 years and never been disappointed. It was good under the previous management and quality didn't drop a bit under the new one. Actually, the menu got broader (the starters are pretty good, and so is the mixed kebab). In summary: very good food, nice atmosphere, excellent value for money.

We found this little gem a while back and decided to bring the family here to celebrate my birthday. We had not booked and for a Thursday it was quite busy, but luckily a table cleared as we arrived.. The service here is great, Umut is by far my favourite host. He was extremely accomodating willing to go over and beyond. He was extremely friendly and very helpful and provided excellent customer service alongside his colleagues. The food is simply excellent. We purchased some starters, a platter and some fish mains. However prior to this were provided with complimentary salad,olives and bread with a lovely garlic butter.. I am not a fan of salad but whatever they put in this salad I can eat the whole thing. The meats are well seasoned and cooked and it's cooked to perfection... the sea bass is grilled beautifully leaving a crispy skin and fish that just melts in your mouth ... I will attend here again as the food and service are great. I would definetly recommend it for families, friends, maybe even a work outing, they have some great platter options as well as a reasonably priced general option menu.

Absolutely unbelievable service, they are a family run business with some extreme talent. Waiter service with no fault, the food quality actually wins over any turkish restaurant in the UK, all starters to main courses including sauces are made by themselves. Do not go there for cheap and low price meals for big groups, you’re better of at Mcdonalds, does not suit the general theme of the place (classy). Top end restaurant in a lowkey area and needs more recognition; belongs in West End to be honest.

Humus was nice that was about it. Bread arrived hard and not even warm. The meat had a strange smell and taste, clearly wasn't fresh. Far better restaurants to visit in the area!

Me and the family absolutely love this restaurant. The staff are attentive and are always friendly towards the children and accommodate their needs. The food is scrumptious and comes out pretty fast. The bread alone is reason to keep returning...lol. Great selection on the kids menu too. Highly recommended but if you're going peak time 8pm onwards at the weekend make sure you reserve coz it gets chocka block!

It used to be good in this restaurant when they first opened. The last visit today with my wife wasn't good at all. I think they served us Fried Adana Kebab! (Which is meant to be grilled). It was so greasy. They then followed with old tea and baklava which we didn't touch!

Terrible service. No idea how to treat customers and the manager shouts at his customers. Would never go there again. Have never been treated in a restaurant the way the staff and manager treated my friend and I.

I think it's overpriced and not particularly nice, it's good food but not special. You will enjoy it but it won't make you love it. Two stars coz we came when kitchen was getting ready for busy time later that day so I hope that's why we have received the quality of service we did.

Just had some food delivered from here. The chicken was still raw/uncooked in places. Not a big fan of salmonella, so called the restaurant, and explained the situation. Staff refused to do ANYTHING to help. Not even to refund the cost of the meal. Won't be ordering from here again, despite having ordered various times previously. Hugely disappointed, but at least I won't be suffering from food poisoning!

This is one of my favourite places to have lunch and dinner. Attend fairly regularly with friends and family. Food and service is great and the staff are friendly.

Service and Staff- great. Portion sizes- not as large as other Turkish places but sufficient. Very flavourful mains- meats are grilled and seasoned perfectly and taste of high quality. Salads- lovely. Starters - a mix of bland and flavourful so it really does depend on what you order as mezzes. Cost- on the pricier side overall but worth it. They deliver via ubereats. Tea and something sweet to wrap up your meal is a must.

This is Turkish food at its best. I lived in Istanbul and Ankara and never got finer fare. Great customer service too. The young maitre d' was so polite and accommodating. Can't recommend highly enough.

A lovely family run place. The food is always fresh and portions are huge. Nothing is too much trouble and it's most definitely service with a smile. Everyone is so friendly I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Lovely place and attentive staff

I visited this restaurant earlier this year with a friend who is disabled, and another friend. When we were ordering drinks my friend asked if the wine had been recently opened, as two of us only wanted wine. The waiter informed us that the wine could have been opened yesterday, last week or last month, but it didn't matter as wine doesn't go off. We were all slightly surprised by the lecture and incorrect information. We decided to have tap water instead. I asked the waiter for this, with a wedge of lemon. He informed us that there would be a charge of £1 per head. I asked the waiter if we could speak to the manager to which he replied that he was the manager and the owner. At this point we decided that it was best to leave and we enjoyed a fabulous meal at Sorento In a few doors away. The owner of this establishment is terrible and he seems to think that his behaviour is okay. The food is great but the owner is not. He believes that he doesn't need to respect customers. He's wrong and I won't be returning there again and have informed my friends who also live in Norbury about this joker.

The Lamb shish was so tender - unlike most kebabs from other restaurants I have tried. Very fresh tasting food and a lovely complimentary freshly made bread was also served, which was delicious. I have recommended this place to all my friends - Lovely friendly staff too:) Marie
