So lucky we have such a great Chinese in St Mags. Never leave us E-Wok! They even used the Tupperware I brought in to save on plastic.

Take away is fantastic. Service always great. We’ve been using as our default Chinese takeaway for years. Great value for money and nothing compares around Richmond surrounding area

Somehow, I have managed to live in St Margarets for three years now without having eaten from Ewok, but I'm so pleased I finally did. The food was really very tasty and represented excellent value for money (my £25 order comfortably served 4!). Service was friendly and super efficient. Its a game changer for me. I will be back again very soon. Well done and thank you to the Ewok team, what a gem!

Tried this takeaway on a last minute whim - and it was 100% scrummy! No fancy restaurant attached which is a pity as I think they would do well. Will be using again for the good food & value.

E-wok went through a phase a while back of being a bit average but having had takeaways many times from here of late, it’s great to see the food is back to hitting the spot. This is a high street takeaway, not an expensive restaurant but despite that the food is delicious. If I was going to recommend some dishes I’d say the chicken chow mein, crispy shredded beef with chilli, prawns in black bean, lemon chicken, pork with special salt and chilli, prawn toast, Singapore fried rice, sweet and sour. Fantastic food with a variety of options.

2 years we have been coming here for take away. I don’t live in the delivery area but even still we take the time to drive 20 mins here every time as I’ve not found anywhere half as good and consistent in quality.Anyone that says otherwise don’t know their stuff when it comes to Chinese food and I won’t hear a bad word said about this place! Nothing special from the outside but tremendous on the inside! Quick, fair priced great food! Never change, Ewok!!!

Decided after reading the raving reviews that we would try this Chinese… I don’t understand for the life of me the good reviews it was hands down the worst Chinese I’ve ever had .. the ribs were about an inch long, ? And the sauce wasn’t bbq as ordered, the spring rolls had no content, we brought 4 different meat dishes and extras and binned it all ..

Best Chinese in the area by far!! Super fast and great size portions too. The lady that works there is great too! worth sitting in when they finally fully reopen post covid. great atmosphere for a small venue!

I’ve been going to E-wok for about 3 years now. The quality is great, portions generous and delivery is fast. The service is always consistent. You can rely on them every time. Definitely recommend Beef with Black Bean and the Satay Chicken.

Tried lots of Chinese takeouts around Richmond. Finally found a really good one! Exceptionally fast delivery, very tasty, large portions. This is our go to. Recommend trying them at least once, and you’ll keep going back.

Have used E-Wok several times. Food very good, very tasty and delivered in a good time frame. Beef with mushrooms in oyster sauce are one of our favourites .

Ordered a takeaway to celebrate Chinese New Year. They were prompt and friendly and the food was very tasty. They have a good hygiene rating too.

Not great food to be honest and I remember going there about 18 months a go and thinking the same so I won’t be going there again.

Really good pricing. We ordered enough to have leftovers the next day. Singapore noodles were phenomenal. We also ate Mapo tofu and black bean beef. All delicious!

We have been using EWok ever since we moved to St Margaret’s and have never found any better Chineese takeaway. The best bits are that it’s cheaper that anywhere around by a lot and they deliver really quickly. We won’t go anywhere else.

Just really good... we've always had great food at good price, they're also really friendly which helps and on time. For chinese delivery this is our go to place to order, we've been ordering from here for a few years and never had any issues....

4 stars because good food but staff sometimes a bit impolite. We are good customers (order at least once a week) but a lady there has refused a couple of times to provide us with chillioil sauce in a not very polite manner.

Great food reasonably priced good variety and fast service very popular in St Margaret's

Pricing can get a bit high when stacking food, but the food is well worth the price and it's some of the best Asian cuisine takeaway/delivery that can be found for miles around. Curries and rices are recommended. Delivery is quick and seamless; the food is prepared in front of you, fresh and fast. I come here often and have never been left disappointed. Perfect for a late Friday night or a Saturday lunch. Only negative is that it **does not take card** and the closing/opening times are unusual - make sure to check before ordering or going. Portions are very well-sized for delivery and takeaway, for the price, it always leaves me full with some leftovers for later.

Next time we are home without decent food and need to eat NOW, we will be calling E-wok again. Time between putting down the phone after ordering til the ring at the door: about 12 minutes. And the food was fresh and tasty though not the best quality meat but what do you expect. They must literally get on it immediately and fly like the wind.

Brilliant little Chinese takeaway. I highly recommend popping in for lunch because it's very cheap and super fast service. Comes with a lot of tea, spring rolls and prawn crackers so great value for money. Don't forget to take cash because they don't have a card reader!

We ordered take away on the food is cooked in front of you. All was excellent. There is the facility to eat in but not s restaurant. I would recommend.

We ordered a takeaway on friday evening. The place is very clean. The staff was extremely busy but the food was cooked fresh and was ready in few minutes. We had Mix sea food noodles, which were very tasty, but only the smell was very strong, probably because we are not aware of few chinese ingredients, but very good taste. Also the chicken fried rice was tasty which we had with a Red thai chicken curry. Will try something more spicy next time i go there. Not sure of their delivery services, eating in is not recommended because it is a small restaurant and people are waiting there for their takeaway orders. The staff was very efficient.

Ewok is the best Chinese take away in TW1. The food is always good and the service is great. Last night I did a pick-up, but they firgot one small thing in my order. Just we realised something was missing my phone rang with an apology and a promise to deliver right away, which they did. Love this place!

Usually fantastic ( from very loyal and long term customers) very disappointed tonight... We had our son over and recommended this chinese over his usual one in the area... Only to be let down such a shame... Will try again once then will unfortunately have to change if not improved...

Popped in to get a takeaway, as we live just around the corner, we opted for the set menu which was lots of food. We were also able to swap one of the items for something we liked better. The wait was less than ten minutes, with other customers in and out on a busy Saturday evening. The food was pretty good, I found the sweet and sour chicken very dry but otherwise everything was okay. Not a bad price either.

Lovely beef chow mein plenty of meat well cooked and well eaten too

Spur of the moment, went in here to get our dinner one evening. Sponge-y chicken sweet and sour, disappointing singapore noodles, indistinguishable veg dish. All tasted a bit sad and samey. Threw a lot of it away.

Average. Gloomy staff. No proper spring rolls. So average you are not only hungry afterward, you do not even remember the meal. They do not use proper shiny aluminium boxes - they have Plastic boxes!!! Eeeww! POOR!!!

I've reviewed e-wok before after their dismal run of form - previously truly terrible food and awful service. But last week I got two takeaways, the second just because the first was really good and I wanted to see if it was a one off. But actually the staff were lovely and the two meals really good. So credit where it's due, e-wok might be heading back to form. I'll try a lunchtime special soon just to see how that goes. Thanks e-wok

Consistently great Chinese food

This is mainly a take away Chinese which we have used many times but less so recently as the food has gone downhill badly

great food, super fast, lunch offer is a bargain, lovely staff, can't complain! The salt and chilli pork is the stuff of legends.

I suggested to my sons that we should collect some E Wok on the way back from a meeting we attended. I guess everything changes and having used E-wok on numerous occasions I was surprised it was not up to its usual standards.The service was slow having been told that the food would be ready in five minutes it actually took 15 so we were hanging around for quite sometime. The prices seem to have gone up alas the quality has not. I will use them again just to double check if this was a one off error. I hope it was as i have been using you since you opened

We have started having takeaways delivered from here. Really good classic dishes, excellently cooked. Good time management as they always tell you it will be longer than it actually is, so that you are not disappointed.

E-wok....Consistently good take-away.There is also seating and a lunchtime menu which is popular but would be better if there were more veggie options.It's not posh but ticks pretty much all the boxes.

I was up visiting family in St Margarets.My treat on Sunday night as a thank you to tuck into whilst watching NFL wad a Chinese. My Bro suggested E Wok.Not disappointed.Where most Chinese restaurants I've eaten in and from have a vast menu, E Wok have a tiny menu. Which is great. Great dishes.Done fantastically. Not very polite, I order chicken with vegetables only vegetables came no chicken, I ask for no beans or peas because I'm alergian, they laughed in my face and put 2 clients in front of me. Not very happy and I'm regular client.

What has happened to E Wok? It was always okay but the last few meals have been less than average and last night's take away was just inedible - except for the chicken balls. everything tasted bland, the spring rolls were tiny and full of mashed potato, the special fried rice was sort of black with crunchy bits, no peas and just the one prawn. It was truly terrible. Not going back til it gets sorted.

If you were to dream of a typical Chinese take away (let's face it, we all do), this is the place you'd picture. Service is fast and aggressive at times, food is typical, prices average. We come here often and it never fails to be average.... Nothing wrong with that.....Sometimes average is all you need for a midweek take away. Average food, average service, average pricing!!

This is a good local Chinese. Not exceptional but they are fast and reliable. The crispy duck pancakes are good.

The food we ordered was nice but 3/4 dishes we had hoped for, they didn't serve so that was a disappointment. It was nice though and fairly cheap. The chicken balls were nice!

This is one rude old lady with no customer service skills , she threw the food at us hissing under her breath. Felt very intimidated , will never visit this establishment ever again . The lady b4 was such a happy fun loving lady with impeccable manners , what happened to the old staff ?? Because the new owner has definately got anger management issues.

We had a takeaway from here last week and it was fine. The only real disappointments were the sweet and sour sauce that was watered down and tasted odd, the prawn crackers were also overcooked and slightly burnt.

The only decent Chinese takeaway in the neighbourhood. Nothing superb quality but it is convenient and has the homecooked flavours. Don't set your benchmark too high, because this is takeaway food quality. Being a Chinese myself I'm pretty satisfied and had always been going back for their food.

I've lived in St Margarets on and off for 15 years and always enjoyed e-wok, mostly for the lunchtime special but also for evening takeaways. The previous owner was great, cheeky and funny and the place served tasty good sized portions. Since she sold up I've been three times and each time the food has been poor, portions smaller and most of all the woman who now runs the place is unprofessional, rude and unhelpful. I went in today because I happened to be passing and I kid you not, she upset almost every customer in there. She refused to give one man a receipt, she shouted at a woman who pointed out she had asked for no pork in her rice but it had come with pork and the woman serving (the new owner I think) blamed the customer for it, she was rude to the two blokes sitting next to me and she shouted at me because I asked to have the free tea that comes with the special lunch menu. Another man she had been rude to ate half his lunch then took it back for a refund and left. My lunch was half the portion size it used to be, the sauce had no flavour, and the meat dry and over cooked. The quality of the ingredients is really poor now and two sets of people who I'd never met before today, and I, agreed we're never going there again. She's a money grabbing, rude woman who produces tasteless food using what appears to be cheap ingredients. Avoid Avoid Avoid. There are plenty of places to eat in St Margarets, Twickenham and East Twickenham - don't waste your time at e-wok.
