Dyce Farm - Dining & Carvery in Aberdeen City

I had a fantastic breakfast at Dyce Farm, and I want to give a special shout-out to *Sylwia* for her outstanding service. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Her warm attitude really made my morning. Thank you, Sylwia – you made the experience even better! 😊😊

Average at best. Great location, great selection but it is very Average. We went mid week so maybe it is better on the weekends 🤷‍♀️

I was recommended here or a toby carvery. Next time I’ll choose the toby carvery. My breaded mushrooms were lukewarm. Went for the large roast and if the meat slices were any thinner I wouldn’t have been able to taste the meat. Roasties were soft instead of crispy. No peas, stuffing didn’t taste to good. Only plus was the broccoli was nice which says something if that’s the best thing on ur plate.

Ordered coffee and a cake. To my surprise portion of the cake was enough which isn’t very common these days. The atmosphere was good and staff were welcoming. I and my friends were taken care by Isha who made our experience better. Isha is very friendly and knows how to do her job and we highly appreciate Isha for let us feeling welcomed. Overall great experience and will suggest Dyce farm to friends and family. Thank you for the great experience.

We visited Dyce Farm recently, and I feel people should be aware of how poor the experience was. The food was mediocre, but the real issue was the shocking attitude from staff, particularly management. We booked a table specifically in the children’s area as we had a one-year-old and a three-year-old with us, only to be sat at the furthest table away. When we asked to move closer to the play area — where there were several empty tables — we were told they were “too busy” to move us. Those tables remained empty for our entire visit, which shows it was sheer laziness and lack of care. The most serious issue came when a child went missing towards the end of our visit. When this was reported to the manager, he showed zero concern and claimed it wasn’t his responsibility. In a so-called family-friendly restaurant with a children’s play area, that kind of attitude is beyond unacceptable. Whether it’s technically his job or not, a missing child on the premises should be something any decent person would care about. The restaurant wasn’t even particularly busy — I’ve seen it much busier — which makes the poor service and careless attitude from management even worse. It was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a place aimed at families. I would strongly recommend avoiding Dyce Farm. There are plenty of other places that offer better food, far better service, and — most importantly — actually care about the safety and wellbeing of the families who visit.

Fantastic carvery which offers carvery and standard pub meals. Food was very enjoyable, hot and served quickly. Staff were very friendly and attentive, including Aiden.

We reserved a table of 6 for breakfast. We all had the buffet breakfast and really enjoyed it, plenty of items to choose from even though there was only scrambled eggs for the egg option. Then we went for “cake away” served by Jenna We always enjoy our meal from Dyce Farm and can’t wait to return soon.

If you are looking for a cheap and cheerful, no frills restaurant that offers buffet style carvery at an affordable price then this is the place for you. It's great for all the family with its extensive menu and carvery available all day everyday, it's perfect for little children or if you are looking for a quick bite to eat without breaking the bank. Dyce Farm is a little out the way at Aberdeen Airport but with its free parking and large capacity it really is a good spot for some food!

First time visiting and the loved the service by Isha

We had a lovely time a dyce farm, Marius is top tier, great service from him at bar and to the table today. Can’t fault today’s meal. Will be back, happy kiddos, thank you.

I visited twice. The first time I had a dish from the menu, some chicken in BBQ sauce etc. It was good but possibly not the 2 chicken breasts as described. The 2nd time, I had the carvery. The gammon was excellent; the beef: OK. The vegetables were fine - if you cook your own, you would probably do them better or differently.

First time we've been in here, and it didn't disappoint. The place was really busy, but in a good atmosphere, the food was delicious, and the service was very prompt. 10 out of 10 .

I ordered the bean burger but couldn't eat it as it was too hard.

Pretty medicore pub grub of poor quality. Had the chicken strips to start. They were out of the packet into the fryer and onto a plate. Then I had the "Giant Farm Burger." There wasn't much giant or farm about it. Beef patties were tastless and looked of very poor quality. The bun wasn't even toasted, and with sauce covering the bottom part, it just fell apart as soon as I touched it. Chips were made from frozen. Badly presented. Avoid if you want fresh and tasty food.

Wouldn’t feed the food to a dog.

Won't be back to Dyce Farm......the food is lovely as is the surroundings, but the man who showed us to our table never spoke one word to us and left us just sitting. The next thing he is at table beside us speaking in his own language to people he must of known. Very rude individual and clearly not an ideal job for him to be in.

Always pop in when dropping off or picking up at the airport . Always friendly staff at hand always kept clean . And Sylvia always helpful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you are looking for a nice carvery highly recommend giving this place a go. It was worth the traveling time to get to.

Decent food, great value, and even better staff. A nice place to eat near the airport, and watch some planes or copters head in and out. Very impressed

Went for breakfast was absolutely horrendous. Bacon was just pure fat and very undercooked with parts of the bacon being discoloured with a purple colour. Black pudding was like a hockey puck. Everything was just dripping with grease. Food was flavourless We were very disappointed and wont be returning.

This is a very warm and inviting place, it has a nice atmosphere, the options available to order at the bar or via an app is very clever. The food was very good and the prices quite reasonable, food was delivered quickly and most importantly hot. Would highly recommend. Id also make sure you book a table, it can get rather busy.

The staff were great. I had the carvery which was a little dry. But was just as the lunch rush happened so the meats might have been under the lights a little longer than normal. But otherwise it was great

We had a wonderful meal at Dyce Farm! The carvery was fresh and delicious, with a great variety of sides and vegetables to complement the meal. It was excellent value for money, and the atmosphere was warm and family-friendly. Despite being very busy, Marius and his team managed everything smoothly and efficiently. I love the playground for kids which keeps the occupied while me and husband enjoyed the food. This was our first visit, and we’ll definitely be returning. We'll also be spreading the word about this lovely place! Highly recommend it!

We have eaten here once a year for the past 4 years when up working event. This time the food was terrible microwaved skin on top of curry, carvery beef resembled pork and tasted of neither

I have been to Dyce Farm many times as I really enjoy the Carvery. My friend and I went on Friday 28th February 2025, it was terrible. Plates were cold, vegetables were cold which was very unpleasant. We did mention this to the lady in charge, she said that she would get the Carvery manager to check the temperature of the food, we heard nothing back about the food. We were given a complimentary tea and coffee. Very disappointed, won’t be hurrying back.

It was a quiet lone wolf evening for me and I got a soothing service from the waiting staff. My orders came in fast,didn’t have to wait long for my food and the cozy ambience helped with my mood. Big up to Isha for making my evening exactly how peaceful I wanted it to be…will definitely be coming back.

Four of us all had the carvery. I eat gluten free and was advised which foods were safe for me. I asked for gluten free gravy and was told it would be taken to my table. I’m still waiting ! My food got cold whilst I was waiting and no staff member was interested in my query about my cold food or missing gravy. Disappointing. The others all really enjoyed their meals. Not sure I would hurry back again.

Perfect place to wait for a flight to come in. Avoid the ridiculous charges at the airport and relax in a family friendly bar. Food is consistently good but the highlight has to be the enormous cakes.

Soo I got burger and 2 chocolate fudge cakes and 2 jack Daniels with coke everything was okay but the fudge cake was the issue cake was too huge for the melted chocolate and ice cream proportions so cake smaller more melted chocolate and more ice cream quality over quantity I had 30 fudge cakes over time this is nr 5/30

Such a shame, I assume that Dyce Farm is under new management, as it's gone downhill in the last few years. One time I would say that this was probably the best carvery that I've had. But this time wasn't good. I asked for a zero coke with no ice, and received a zero coke with ice and lemon, I was thirsty and needed a drink, but had loads of ice in the way, I probably would have brought another drink if it wasn't for the faff of trying to drink this one. The carvery meat was fine. However, the vegetables were awful. The peas were so dry and hard, they were inedible, the roast potatoes where chewy. I think the carrots were cooked with a blow torch, as they were raw in the middle and burnt on the outside . Maybe cutting them smaller and not leaving them under the heated lamps for so long may be an idea? It took a long time to get served for a drink and just as long for someone to come and serve the meat. We took some pudding home, which I will say was very nice although it was served with a pot of full cream milk, and I was told it was cream in the pot. So overall a very disappointing visit, I won't make the same mistake again.

Always a great meal, and a varied menu

Sunday Carvery here was great. The food was constantly topped up, the portions were generous and the atmosphere was great too!

Food seemed towards the low end of pub food quality. One of the managers was friendly, helpful and generally seemed to care far more than the others.

I paid £3.35 for an Irn Bru to be given a sugar free version. Ordered chicken strips and some chips to not have the chips delivered before I had to leave. Piri Piri sauce was of reasonable quality and left a lingering sensation in my mouth like the time i kissed a girl that smoked silk cuts. Reasonable for families with kids if you're about the airport. God help you if your going a day offshore flying has been cancelled

Working away from home, it's always nice to find good service and a smile when I'm out for food alone. Chris has excellent customer service skills and genuine warmth 😊 even though it was really busy, he still found time to go over the menu options and be really helpful. We were greeted by staff and promptly shown to our table, ordered at the till, no issues. Food was lovely and a good price. Waitress was cheerful and attentive, it was a birthday celebration, waitress asked my son's name and brought the cake out to our table and joined in with singing happy birthday to him, she shouted hip, hip, hooray, she was really in the spirit of it and gee'd us all along. My other son ordered an eclair to go, this was boxed up and delivered to our table. Down side of our visit was the car broke down on the way home and one of the grandchildren trod on my son's eclair 😂 Had a lovely evening

Waiting to be served why’ll staff talk to each other. Manageress always on her phone doing nothing. Table dirty when I got here four pints later not one table has been wiped. Disgrace.

Good value but I wish they would employ more staff. The wait times to order food and drink are horrendous if you don't have the app. Staff rushed off their feet.

Have been numerous times and have to say that the food and service have gone really downhill unfortunately, the carvery is lack lustre with all meat being dry and the gammon is over salted, the sides are unloved basic veg with the cauliflower cheese having no remnants of cheese, they hadn't even bothered to change the signs from breakfast by half 1 in the afternoon, sadly won't be back again.

On the whole, very good. Our table had been taken by a group of oil workers. We were then seated next to them, their language was a bit foul. However they decided to move so it improved. Only other negative point was the girl taking orders at the bar was a bit aggressive. Shouting at me to get in line as I tried to attract the attention of another member of staff. I think he was doing app orders, she was the only one doing counter orders and there was a queue. Apart from that, the pub was warm and welcoming and the quality of food was very good.

A group of 8 of us were out to celebrate a birthday on Sunday, 15th December. Great food. Some of us had the carvery, and some had from the menu. Brilliant place to have a good meal, and it doesn't break the bank either.

Along with my work colleagues who ordered full breakfast which by all accounts was good , I ordered gluten free toast, scrambled eggs and coffee. My toast had no toast colour just hard bread, my scrambled eggs were slightly warm inside but cold on the outside and my cup had no smooth part left on the rim of the cup. To say I am very disappointed is an understatement

First time at the Dyce farm restaurant. Very friendly staff. Extremely good food with massive portions. I had mixed grill it was some plate full. My wife had Hunters chicken another large plate full and very reasonably priced. We will be back.
