Great atmosphere, especially for golfers given the memorabilia on the walls. Fantastic service. Only let down slightly as not a great selection of beers ( but does have great whiskey)

Very cool atmosphere. Great selection of beer. Need to improve the ventilation as the beer smell is overwhelming and takes away from the experience.

One of my local bars in St Andrews especially after playing golf and watching golf tournaments on TV in great atmosphere. Always looked after & warmly welcomed by the staff.

Great place to visit if you're a golf fan. It's really a great place to visit anytime you're in the area. Fish & Chips and pint of local lager is a good meal

Cool spot, with tons of golf memorabilia and nostalgia. Food was pretty good, a bit pricey. Service was fast though and everything tasted fresh! Would go back for sure!

Food in dining room is average and very limited menu. 3 entres. Bar food was good pubfood and good service. It's crowded at night I suggest going for lunch

We have used this pub many times over the past 20 years and always found it to be good value with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. However, our most recent visit today was disappointing in terms of value for money and atmosphere. £35.00 for 6 prawns and 10 chicken wings with some wedges and garlic bread thrown in does not represent value for money.

One to tick off the list, a golf must visit. Very busy, so don't expect to get a seat, or even in the door, but if you do you will enjoy the atmosphere

Really nice pub. Cosy atmosphere inside with lots of natural light and plenty of srats. Outside there's a great south facing balcony. Very friendly and efficient staff. Well done!

If you love the game of golf and a nice pint, this is a must. Just a very short walk from the 18th green of the old course. The Masters was happening when we visited and the place had that theme everywhere. Well done!

Situated just 100m from the 18th green of St Andrews Old Course, this little bar/pub is steeped in history. It has plenty of atmosphere and the staff are great. It was very busy however we didn't wait long to be served which is impressive!

Perfect pub in St. Andrews for enjoying a pint. If you’re a golf fan there’s lots of original memorabilia collected by the pub owners through the years. Just a couple of minutes walk from the Old Course.

Absolutely a perfect place for a cold beer. One block from the old course. Busy international clientele. Fun looking at all the pictures on the wall of all the celebrities that have been there.

A must when in the town of St Andrews and especially after a round of golf on the Old Course. So much history on walls that has come through this pub. If you are there early enough in the day and it’s not crowded ask the staff for some good stories. Food was good as well. Meat Pie was was a decent size, great flavor. Would certainly come back. It tends to get very crowded later in the evening. Get here early unless you want to be jammed in.

Again, my wife and I visited this place today, on 10th December for our lunch. All staffs were very kind as usual. All goofed were also very good. We enjoyed many photos him there. My wife and I visited there. We took a Costco day tour to St Andrews. This restaurant was very near the old course. It was nice location. All staffs were very kind. All meals were also very good. After our lunch, we were able to walk on the old course. We had good experiences. Looking forward to visiting again soon to see another places in St Andrews. Thank you!

Great pub for golfers, locals and tourists. Superb Guinness - although due to volume of sales head can be a little big for me!! A regular haunt for us in St Andrews and always a good atmosphere. Does get busy at weekends and appears to also now be a student regular haunt too.

He made me and my Dad very welcome and gave clear and easy to understand instructions into places to eat and drinks I would like. You are a credit to your work, I can see you care about your customers and you would make great team leader there. Wish you the best mate thank you wants again for your care on my visit.

My lamb chops were good but didn’t have any veg. But another one of our group ordered a £43 fillet steak and they tried constantly to pass the rib eye he was served with as the fillet. Liars. Expensive liars!

Best bar in St Andrew’s - so convenient to the 18th and a must visit for anyone coming to town for the golf. The staff are excellent and took care of our group each time we went in on our trip.

Local bar if you like scotch the selection is just okay. They're a better choices like the key bar, but the place is all about history

This is a golfers pub! Tucked in at St. Andrews the home of golf. This is a classic pub with people from all over the world sharing stories and a pint. It can get a bit crowded, but that adds to the pub vibe of Dunvegan. If you wanted a quiet place to eat, you wouldn't be searching for a pub now, would you? I truly enjoyed talking and sharing a pint of Tennent's with some of the other wonderful people there. If you're looking for a great pub to have a pint and some food, look no further. This is a golfers paradise pub.

A must go if you are a golfer. Service can be slow but only when they are very busy as expected. Atmosphere is amazing as well. The wings are very good as we're the meat pies. Highly recommend!

What kind of world famous golf bar kicks out its patrons during the third playoff hole of a PGA tournament? Disgraceful, they have lost their way!!

There is nothing genuine about this bar. It’s a cash grab using celebrity photos to compensate for a lack of service, awareness and atmosphere. Overrated is an understatement.

An absolute must experience! The wait staff was really great. Expect a huge loud crowd having a blast. The attached restaurant is recommended as well, but reservations are strongly recommended due to its small size. However, you can order many dishes while in the bar.

The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is delicious. This time I had the BLT 🤤 Its fun to look at all the pictures on the walls (and ceiling!) of the athletes and celebrities that have been there.

Omg we loved it! Had some soup, a Latte and danced with bartender a little country swing on the way out! They play country music...2 Texas owners own it. Great view and another famous place to go! Must go!

Brilliant. Perfect dishes after a round of golf, excellent atmosphere and service. For golf lovers, you will eat surrounded by history in the form of photos of the great characters of this sport.

Even though it's considered touristy, this is widely regarded as the favorite pub amongst a lot of St Andrews students. A must visit for anyone in town, the walls are covered with cool golf memorabilia, but my favorite part of it is meeting people on golf trips from all over the world. A bit pricey and can be a bit cramped, but still totally worth your time

Great Golfing Pub in St. Andrews

The ultimate for American golfers visiting St. Andrews; a must visit. But, if you want to also meet locals (and caddies), don't miss The Keys pub.

Bit crowded,and over priced at 5pounds a pint

The history is more than enough to get you in the door but putting that aside, Dunvegans is a fun place to eat and grab a pint. The menu consists of traditional Scottish options and the staff treats you like one of their own. Be sure to check out the photos on the wall and hear a little bit of the history while you’re there.

Super glad to say I've been to Dunvegans but the wait between beverages was much slower than other local places (yes I understand there is a shortage of staffing but I am comparing to other local places during the same time frame). The staff wasn't as friendly either, took order, dropped off beer then sat at the bar unattentive to non locals.

COLD beer, good finger food and great service. Pretty much all one needs to feel at home in St. Andrews. Nice staff, cozy, clean spot and located a short wedge from the 18th green. Get there early as it tends to fill up, but it's well worth the wait

Lovely local pub to frequent. Nice atmosphere and also serves bar food as well as having a seperate restaurant. The offer table and bar service, prices good for st andrews standards.

It was crazy busy. Wings were good. We saw a lot of people there we had met at golf courses around the area.

The “American” bar for The Open. Smaller than an American would expect (like most things in Europe), but great British brews and atmosphere. Wishing I would have bought a shirt
